She listained into the discussion about the Hisui Region, "Funnily enough, my clan have records dating back to that, according to Grandpa, Our clan was creates when The leaders of the Diamond and Pearl clan, put aside there bias after discovering Dialga and Palkia both had a hand in creation of Hisui/Sinnoh and instead got married and united both clans under the title, the platinum clan, later years would change the name of course. I think, its current known as Sen no rekishi no ichizoku or Clan of a Thousand Histories". She snap her fingers and said "I can ask Grandpa if he's OK with sending you some of the history if you like Coleman-San" She said, not really sure if she needed to bow to a video.

Selina had already put in a call to her Grandfather as the two of them spoke in older Johtonise before what sounded like a brief disagreement before the call ended. "Grandpa going to send over all the data we have on the Hisui form of Pokémon, he's also got some data on the original forms of Dialga and Palkia, ancestor Idina and Alderman, leaders of the Pearl and Diamond clan respectively, both did more studies into Palkia and Dialga after Almighty Sinnoh was revealed to be those two pokemon, however that data is strictly off limits to all except the village elder." Selina told the group before she got an email from her Grandfather and then sent all the data of the Hisui pokemon to Liam father, he would also get an ancient diary from Irida and Alderman about there interaction with the young man who had completed the first ever Pokedex.

"I don't blame them for keeping that titbit secret," Shiranui understood, "That must have been quite a bombshell when it was initially found out."
"Downloading Pokédex app update…" Shiranui's Rotom Phone chimed, "Download complete; historical data from Hisui added." He accessed the new data and found out some of his Pokémon had variant forms native to Hisui. He checked out the entry for the Zorua evolution line.
"Zorua: Hisui Form, the Spiteful Pokémon. A Normal and Ghost type. A once-departed soul, returned to life in Hisui. Derives power from resentment, which rises as energy atop its head and takes on the forms of foes. In this way, Zorua vents lingering malice.
Zoroark: Hisui Form, the Baneful Pokémon. A Normal and Ghost type and the evolved form of Zorua: Hisui Form. With its disheveled white fur, it looks like an embodiment of death. Heedless of its own safety, Zoroark attacks its nemeses with a bitter energy so intense, it lacerates Zoroark’s own body."
"Those poor things," Shiranui commented, feeling sorry for those Pokémon, "What drove you guys to feel such malice?"

Jen tears up as she feels for these pokemon, she knows you can’t vhsnge the past but you can change the future.

Liam's Rotomdex also pinged the update. The Rotom inside it pulled up a particular entry it felt Liam might be interested in.

"Goodra, Hisiuan Form. The Shell Bunker Pokémon. A Dragon and Steel-Type. Able to freely control the hardness of its metallic shell. It loathes solitude and is extremely clingy—it will fume and run riot if those dearest to it ever leave its side."

"Interesting," Liam said thinking aloud. "They both care deeply about friendships, but the Hisuian one seems a bit more toxic, kind of ironic since it's part steel-type."

"I guess Hisui's environment was harsh enough to necessitate that type of friendship," Shiranui speculated, knowing there were reasons why differing variants of Pokémon lived the way they did.

Selina listained to both their pokedex, though it was Information she already knew before saying "Hisuin Zoroark and Goodra are also used to teach the younger members of the clan lesson. Zoroark is used to teach about Malice and the cost of letting something fester for too long that it turns into hate and anger, while Goodra is used to teach us what a toxic friendship truly is, but also the importance of standing by your friends and getting them on the right path"

Jen sipped her eyes, “what did the Hisuian form of Growlithe taught your clan?” Jen asked as she learn somethings from her own Arcaine.

"I guess Hisui's environment was harsh enough to necessitate that type of friendship," Shiranui speculated, knowing there were reasons why differing variants of Pokémon lived the way they did.

"I guess so," Liam said as he stored back his Pokédex. "It's too bad that these Hisuian variants are at least seemingly extinct, It would be cool to see them."

Selina open up her rotom phone to bring up Hisuian Arcanine dex entry "Arcanine, Hisiuan form. The Legendary pokemon. A fire-Rock type. Snaps at its foes with fangs cloaked in blazing flame. Despite its bulk, it deftly feints every which way, leading opponents on a deceptively merry chase as it all but dances around them."

"Well, Growlilth and Arcanine have not changed much over the years but I believe we use normal Arcanine to teach about loyalty and protection, but honestly we use Hisiuan Arcanine to teach about avoiding conflict and how to safety escape conflict if we are on our own" Selina told Jen.

"I guess so," Liam said as he stored back his Pokédex. "It's too bad that these Hisuian variants are at least seemingly extinct, It would be cool to see them."

"Maybe through space-time anomalies or raiding Froslass lairs, but those are long shots," replied Shiranui, not letting on that there was another way that tied into his bombshell theory of the photo he had seen, "We'd have better luck seeing if a fossil restoration lab could resurrect Pokémon from centuries ago as opposed to past geological ages."

"I would venture into a Froslass' lair," Liam said. "Just doesn't seem wise".

"Too right it doesn't," Shiranui agreed, "They'll freeze you solid and keep you as a trophy until they eat your soul."

"Yeah, no. Back when we lived in Snowpoint City, my parents used to tell me all the time not to wander too far, or a Froslass would get me." Chuck said. "Obviously, it was a tale told to scare children into behaving, but based on facts. While one wouldn't be that close to the city, venture too far out, and you might become an unfortunate soul who encounters one."
