Good afternoon! (Or so it is where I currently am.)

I happened upon this site by chance, but it certainly caught my attention.

This isn't my first time as a roleplayer, been doing so for quite some time. I wouldn't call myself a veteran by any means, but I've dabbled here and there. I've also tried my hand at GMing on a few occasions (with varying levels of success of course.)

As for my preferences, I typically enjoy fantasy and science-fiction RPs, especially ones that take place in established universe like Game of Thrones, The Forgotten Realms, Star Wars, Halo, Warhammer 40k, etc. This isn't to say I don't like custom universes however, those are equally interesting to me. I also have a soft spot for historical RPs and nation builders. These types of RPs are far and in between on the other site I participate on (perhaps it is different here?) In all cases, I love RPs with well-woven narratives; places where I can really sink my teeth into in terms of lore and world-building.

I wouldn't say I have intricate hobbies but I do like to write in my free time. I enjoy video games of all sorts, recently I've been enjoying games like Arma 3, God of War, and Age of Empires. I read occasionally, I've recently finished a novel in the Warhammer 40k universe.

I suppose that's enough for an introduction.

Welcome! I know the Nation RP section has a small but dedicated playerbase, otherwise some of the other things you mentioned I see around here from time to time. Either way, hope you enjoy!

There's all sorts of fantasy fans around here (myself included) so I'm sure you'll find several partners to play with.

Hello and welcome aboard, new person! Based on your interests, I have a feeling we'll be seeing a good amount of each other in the future. I'm a sucker for most of those things that you mentioned, though I have yet to take the dive into Nation RPs (I'm intrigued, though, so someday!). Welcome, welcome, cosmos person, welcome. I, too, like to read occaisonally - so here, have a go at the Starship book series by Mike Resnick. I will admit though that I started on the 2nd book, the "Pirate" title, before I read the "Mutiny" title. Best do it that way lol, too.
