Hi! I'm interested, and I have a couple of ideas, though not sure how well I could get them across. I'm a bit nervous about stepping on people's toes, so I'll hold off for now, but I figured I might as well express interest.

I'm interested. Thinking I'll play some variation of nerd. Maybe string manipulation. I do love me some string manipulation.

Theoretically, yes, if they were good enough. Though string manipulation typically involves a hard thread akin to fishing line or razor wire. There's a lot you could do with it.

magnetism manipulation is solid as a base power, whether it's op just depends on how strong you want to make it and balancing it with enough weaknesses

assuming this is still open, i've been considering a sort of psychokinesis "dream" based power: essentially, the character is asleep and unconscious while using their power, and can project their dreams and imagination into psychic constructs (though with restrictions—no projecting nukes or war machines or anything), while the character would hover around and engage in combat with a sort of sixth sense.

would this be alright as a base to expand upon?

it's only the interest check phase so things are all still open until the ooc drops and people actually make their character sheets, dw

that sounds like a good power, sort of like astral projection meets imagination manifestation. i like the choice of making it specifically dream based to give it that weakness of vulnerability for the user.

body duplication is good!

Body duplication is cool because of all the weird and specific conditions you can put on it.

EDIT so as to not double post, I may as well let yall know my power, now that it's been hashed out.

Kinetic Theft. Absorbs the kinetic energy of anything(and everything) that touches him. The energy is stored, and can be released at will from his body.

There isn’t a specific limit on how much energy he can store or release, but there is on how much he can absorb at a time.

So while he won't feel your normal human punches or kicks(or hugs or kisses D:), things like bullets or getting hit by a car are merely lessened.

hi! assuming I'm not pushing my luck, I'm definitely interested in this. I already have a power in mind, so I figure I'll explain it now and see if it's fair game. fair warning, it's a bit of a strange one.

the first name that comes to mind is screen manipulation: they can enter and travel through any sort of working screen, from TVs to phones to billboards, anything's fair game. in addition, if the screen is currently playing a form of visual media, they can enter into a sort of 'pocket dimension' that replicates that media exactly - in that dimension, they can bend the laws of physics to enhance their attributes to an extent (except personal durability and speed), change their form to match the media playing, and influence the 'characters' to do as they wish, to a point. they can also retrieve inanimate objects from this dimension and bring them back, with limits, such as nothing supernatural and nothing that couldn't fit through the screen.

does this sound like it would work for the RP? sorry if it got a bit long-winded!
