Hello, hello, hello. Come on, come all and join me on this adventure through the shinobi world. I don't know what it is but lately I've been in the mood for a good Naruto roleplay. So I'm posting this here to see if any of you will be interested in the same.

I am completely changing the world of Naruto's history with this one. The Otsutsuki here will be actual gods instead of aliens who want to eat the chakra of planets. So Kaguya will be a fallen goddess that fell for a mortal and the Sage of Six Paths will essentially be Prometheus as he gave the world knowledge of chakra and ninshu/ninjutsu/fire.

I also plan on changing the line of the Kage's to make them all original. I might just keep the 1st and 2nd for simplicity's sake since they shaped the world a lot, but Hiruzen's generation is for sure getting a complete change.

The Whirpool Village will remain destroyed but earlier on due to the rumors that the Uzumaki were connected to the gods of the world and the Uzumaki Clan would have spread throughout the small and great nations because everyone would've wanted to mix that chakra capacity and sealing jutsu into their pool of ninja.

There will be no Uchiha massacre, but they will have dwindled in number after many of them were sent to the front lines during the Third Shinobi War.

These will be the major changes for now until I work on plot and see who's all interested. I likely will be looking for a Co-GM, but I also want the players to be just as involved with coming up with events or anything that'll progress the story. Who knows? We may even get to see our characters as adults or even further training the next generation.

I would love to see more of this AU world you had imagined. The canon had a lot of stuff that could use a redesign, several of the bijuu come to mind. I'm curious though how a group RP handles all the dojutsus and bijuu, all that stuff.

I sent you a DM, but for your last curiosity I was thinking that at least a few of the Bijuu would belong to NPC characters at least at the beginning of the story. They may end up dying throughout the course of the story and their Bijuu could be passed along to someone's character. Otherwise usually people would run at the chance to be a Jinchuuriki at the beginning.

As far as dojutsu goes I don't care too much as long as it doesn't become a Sharingan and Byakugan show despite having the thought of having a set of Uchiha twins myself but there's a plot reason for it.

Bump/Info Update:

@Genkishi and I were talking and we're on the same mind that the Bijuu can be updated/rehashed since they were mostly underutilized and underdeveloped in the series.

For example, the original Jinchuuriki will have created their own clans that inherited techniques and sometimes summonings. For example the Aburame clan will be descendants of the original 7 Tailed host and so on and so forth. This does not mean however that the Bijuu was only passed onto other clan members or that any Jinchuuriki will automatically have access to clan techniques. I will go into more detail about everything in the official thread.

I've personally had an idea floating around for a while now on an AU of the nardo setting, though with some more subtle differences in mind. Any particular reason the Uchiha get wiped out beyond balancing? An idea could be that without Madara the more moderate elements take power within the clan and perhaps even an Uchiha from the era becomes the Second Hokage, thus breaking the idea of lineages at least in Konoha. This could lead them to maintain a large presence as well within the leaf, and a long-standing rivalry with the other founding clans, particularly the Hyuga.

Mostly a balance thing. I knew I didn't want the massacre to happen in this universe, but just in case the group was kind of big for this I didn't want to make it a Uchiha show. I did think of making one of this version's Hokage a Uchiha but I would've placed him as the Third since I was planning to remove Hiruzen.

So let's say a big shift change is that when Tobirama is a squad's sensei he gets a member of the Uchiha on his team. At the time he still hates them having a very hard time letting go of the past, but with his student he starts seeing a different side to the clan and realizes his brother may not have been wrong after all. So after a rough start he shapes the young Uchiha into a worthwhile and respected shinobi. He then goes on to become the Third Hokage and during his reign the Third Shinobi War happens. Him being Hokage gave the clan a boost in morale so they ended up training harder than normal and more and more wanted to prove just what they could do for their village so against his better judgment a lot of his clan had fought on the front lines and although they were skilled shinobi war is war so lives were claimed.

So at the moment they're not as big a clan as they once were but they are currently still repopulating their ranks and have even taken to marrying outside the clan.

Nah, I see what you mean though. I've always hated the Uchiha massacre and even moreso the whole reasoning behind it in the original series. Easily prevented but forced for narrative drama. But I have high hopes for the remaining members of the clan. When I say their numbers dwindled in the war I'd say that a 3rd to a half of their actual shinobi died in battle. But at least in this they're not mistreated by the village so balance. This loss in numbers could have given the Hyuuga the chance to become a more prominent clan in the village as well.

Also if your backlog ends up a little less intimidating I'd love to have you join. If this doesn't end up a group RP we can definitely make it a 1x1x1.

Hey, thank you for the interest. @Genkishi and I have been building the history and making plans for the plot and have pretty much just about finished. But we're open to making it a 1x1x1 if you don't mind the leg work to catch up on all the information because it's 8 pages of PM's worth. We have plans for at least one genin team in every village and we have two for the Leaf and Stone (mostly for plot purposes) but we are missing a third squad for Leaf's Rookie Nine.

Let me know and we'll discuss everything with you.
