No one was talking about their psychic surgeries. And that was okay with Niah. She didn't like the idea of leaving Doom and Luminous to their own devices in this world. Both were nasty enemies. She had her past with each of them. Doom might even hold some of it against her to this day. She didn't know for sure if he would be aware of the promise she had made...and failed to keep. She had tried. But she had failed. If she hadn't failed, he wouldn't be here.

She wasn't going to blame herself for that. Luminous would still have been here; that was a whole other set of issues. Somehow with the trauma she had associated with the speedster, she had ended up with a speedster. She snorted at the thought.

Niah dug into the food some more. Her body needed it. She leaned lightly against Oliver. Finding comfort in his warmth. Sleep sounded great. She was ready for that. After food. After the beer.

"That's all fair." Matt said, smiling. He was perfectly happy, just relaxing the rest of the night. They had no idea where Doom might be, as Cass had pointed out. They would have to find them first. He didn't agree that leaving them here was the right choice, even if it wasn't part of their original mission. As much as he disliked this reality, Doom and Luminous weren't their problems.

He turned to listen to Raynor. If he thought he had a way to get them home, that'd be good to know. He had no desire to stay here longer than necessary. And the Asgardians probably were their best bet for getting home. They probably had some weird tech magic stuff to traverse the realities. Banner might know how to send them back too. Matt put a free arm around Cass.

Flynn was just listening to the conversations around him, not entirely certain how to continue to talk to everyone or make comments about what all was going on. His head was still pounding a bit from what had happened with the entire psychic surgery thing. Not to mention, he wanted to talk to Bonnie in general. Since despite what he had been trying to convince himself, he did blame himself for a lot of things that were really out of his control. And he did want to admit and tell her more about those situations, but not right now.

The others were talking about what they should do now, and he thought about what best they could do currently. "We can't just leave those two here... They are our problem and have been since they stepped through that portal, so before we can even think about heading back to our reality, we need to basically drag them back with us..." Flynn eventually said, looking at the group. Though he was a bit curious as to what it was that Banner was suggesting on how they were supposed to get back home anyway.

"I mean it is fitting, and it works out. Makes things easier and never cared much for the name I had, the nickname always seemed like the way to go. It was sheer coincidence that it worked out to fit me so well really," Sparky said with an eye roll as everyone else made a few comments about her nickname. "Call me Pikachu again and you'll get zapped," she then added to Maria with a bit of a laugh.

The discussion went towards how they were supposed to get back home, and what to do about Doom and Luminous. "We still need to deal with those two whether you want to or not," she said towards Raynor, shaking her head in his direction. "As for us getting back... He has a machine that was used to send me over to that reality to begin with..." that was her explanation for the how they were getting back. Though she had a feeling that the whole going to New Asgard thing was more along the lines of how Raynor ended up in that reality.

Oliver Sullivan

Oliver was nearly joyful at the recent developments. Sure, two sociopaths that were an active threat to existence on a multiversal scale were at large, but they had food and a chance to rest, two things Oli had desperately been craving. No more broken bones, or gunfire, or being handcuffed to tables, he could just be fine and safe for a little bit. He leaned back against Niah, and smiling. This was soemthing that, once this mission was over, he could just have, and that really wasn't something he'd processed yet. He would get a very long break and that was an exciting prospect.

Oliver shrugged at the prospect of getting home, "I mean... Assuming we live-capture Doom and Luminous, home shouldn't be an issue. They got us here, they can get us home. And it's clearly possible, so I'm sure that, given enough time, we could crack it ourselves." Oliver was a confident bastard, but he also was damn smart. Besides he had a Ph.D in Theoretical... well, he supposed now applied physics. He wasn't sure if that was technically how it worked, but his reasoning at the very least was that, between all of them, they'd be smart enough to figure something out.

EARTH 257 - 9:40 PM Nov. 14th, 2021 - Genosha

Bob Banner's Home -

"Are we sure that Doom and Luminous caused the anomaly?" Bonnie posed. They didn't know anything about what had caused the anomaly - they had only been called in to investigate it. Maybe Doom and Luminous had orchestrated it all, but maybe they had simply been in the right place at the right time to escape. They just didn't know. Bonnie knew the raft had measures to prevent the use of powers and magic, but it was possible that Doom or Luminous could've found some way to disable those protective measures. There was just still so much they didn't know. "And if they did do this on purpose, why this reality? What do they stand to gain here that they wouldn't in another world, perhaps one that their alternate selves already control?"

"I don't really see why it matters - if we have to drag them back, then we drag them back," Raynor said with a shrug. He wasn't going to argue more with his opinion that they ought to just leave without Doom and Luminous. Everyone seemed strongly against letting those two roam free in this world. But if what was happening to the others was any indication, the Doom and Luminous they knew would be overwritten eventually and cease to exist. Problem solved right? "Who cares if they were the ones behind it - or if it was some crazy thing like the Phoenix?"

"It matters because the ability to hop universes is dangerous," Bonnie stressed. "If we don't understand how the anomaly formed, then we don't know how to counteract it. This time it was Doom and Luminous - what if next time it's a group of children, lost in the multiverse? Someone is going to get seriously hurt - someone might die if we don't figure out what's going on here."

Raynor shrugged, putting more food into his mouth. He trusted that they'd figure it out - but once again, his main priority was making sure that he got Sparky on home to their daughter. The universe may be in danger, but as always, his thoughts were reflected somewhat inward, focusing on his tiny family. As soon as Bob's machine was repaired, he was going to make sure that he and Sparky used it to get back to Zarina. The rest of the group could be martyrs without them.

"Wecanfigureitoutwhenwefindthem," Amelia said, her mouth full of food as to make her words hardly intelligible. She then swallowed, allowing her speech to be clearer. "Like, there's so many telepaths on Genosha that if you throw a bleeding rock, you'll probs hit one. They can take a peak inside Doom and Lumey and tell us what they did and how they did it - and if it wasn't them... Well, that's what you science-y types are here for," Amelia finished with a shrug.

"Well... I think we just eat some food, and then we drink some beer, and go to bed," Darcy said. "And then I think I'll stay here with Bob. I've got some know how when it comes to weird machines. Can't be that different from astrophysics right?"

Bob chuckled a bit. "It runs on tachyon particles, so.... sure. I have to harvest some more, but I can get one of the island's time manipulators to help me with that, so won't be a problem. And I'd appreciate your help with fixing the machine, Darcy. At least so it won't be such a lonely process."

Cassandra looked up at Matt and gave him a soft loving smile as she felt him resting an arm over her shoulder, as her attention turned towards the others in the room. She really didn't know how or why the anomaly had happened in the first place that sent Doom, Luminous and the rest of their team through to Raynor and Sparky's home reality. Maybe the two of them did manage to find a way to break through the Raft's security measures and they created it. Or maybe it was some sort of external force at play that had did it, or maybe Bob's machine had caused it and a tear between their home reality and this one had finally made the veil between the two weaker she didn't know.

"Wouldn't hurt to interrogate them once we apprehend them and see if they know something about it." Cassandra said with a slight shrug. "Thats if what had happened to all of us has happened to them already if they have a counterpart here." She was pretty sure that the two of them are experiencing the weird bleeding effect thats going on. "Either way we'll figure it all out in the end and get back home where we belong." Cass said as she finished up eating the rest of her salad.

Maria looked over at Sparky and smirked at her teasingly. "You should dress up as one for Halloween though, just saying." Maria said jokingly as she continued to eat the food and leaned back slightly running a hand through her hair and took another sip of her beer and nodded towards Amelia. "Yep theres a shit ton of Telepaths here if any of them can pry answers out of Doom and Luminous then it's anyone of them." Maria said as she took another bite.

She wasn't sure how it'll go when they end up confronting Doom and Luminous and if they'd fallen prey to what was happening to them. Maria just hoped that when they confront them it'll be easy and they could just get back home, Maria had a feeling that Novi was really worried about her by now at this point.

Niah chewed on her food and the idea that Doom might have opened the portal. She thought it might be possible he was smart enough. However, Ryanor brought up the Phoenix. She frowned. Was this possible? Was it involved? She didn't like that idea at all. If that was true. Something was uncomfortable about that possibility.

She focused on her food. Choosing instead to eat and drink. She was ready for bed. This day had been entirely too long. She closed her eyes slightly as she paused in her eating. Had it only been one day? Everything seemed to have taken months. She sighed.

Matt smiled. The group had said they hadn't wanted to talk about it, yet here they were talking. Matt was thought part of the conversation was odd. He frowned. "Wait, was I supposed to know that Doom and Luminous were behind the portal? Or is that a theory I just didn't pick up on?" He honestly had no idea when that had been mentioned. Or if it was a theory the smarter, more scientific members of the group had come up with and hadn't voiced it up to this point.

Bonnie seemed to think it was a possibility they hadn't caused it. That made him feel a bit better. If she disagreed with the theory, then he didn't feel he should have figured that out.

While the conversation continued, Matt finished eating his food. He drained the beer he had. "I'm going to turn in now. Unless some other surprising reveal needs to be made?"

"Any number of things could probably have caused that thing that then ended up dragging us through once Sparky touched it, we can't say one way or another," Flynn added with a bit of a shrug. He had no idea what had caused the anomaly that Luminous and Doom had used, well, it also was the one they ended up using too. That whole situation was a bit strange to him to say the least, and how it worked went way over his head, but he did find it odd that Oliver seemed to think that one of them had created it.

After all, there were numerous things across the universe, anything could have potentially caused it to say the least, so who knew what actually caused it. They had no evidence one way or the other, so unless one of the two actually tells them how it appeared there and tell them the truth, they probably will never know. Everyone was starting to wind down and get ready to head off to sleep, so they'd deal more with that sort of thing in the morning.

"Yeah, not going to happen," she responded with an eye roll towards Maria about the whole Pikachu thing. It was a bit on the annoying side at times, and her attention turned towards the rest of the conversation which had turned towards the anomaly that had brought them here, and she rolled her eyes at Flynn. "How many times do I have to say sorry for touching the weird anomaly, how was I supposed to know it apparently was a rift in the fabric of reality."

The conversation about what potentially caused it was not going to end up giving any sort of answers. It was impossible, and they just had to deal with the fallout. This might have ended up for the best in some ways though. Since at least for her, things suddenly made more sense as to why she always felt extremely out of place with her family back home (well, adopted family apparently) and why she had felt like an outcast at times. "We can't do anything about the anomaly anyway, and there isn't a point in really talking about it until we catch Doom and Luminous."

Oli furrowed his brow, "I can't pretend to know their motivations, but they're two villains with, a far as I know, nothing to do with one another. If multiversal travel happens around bad people with superpowers, I'd generally assume they had something to do with it." That seemed rational to him, or at least the only path that they realistically pursue actively. He also nodded at Amelia, she had the right idea. This was what he was guessing, but once they were captured, the agents would have all their answers.

In any case, if the anomaly wasn't caused by them, it might have a root in their home, and if that was the case, the only way they could further pursue anything would be to return. He didn't like the idea of a group of kids getting sent here, or anywhere, but they had to deal with the situation as it existed. Using the people who knew were involved and the things he knew about them, he could only assume the two villains did it. "The only other possibility I can imagine is somebody in this universe discovered multiversal travel, and Doom and Luminous just happened to be caught up in it.", He posited, before sitting and seeing what the others thought of that.

EARTH 257 - 8:00 AM Nov. 15th, 2021 - Genosha

Bob Banner's Home -

The next day at breakfast, the Secret Warriors + Darcy + Bob Banner were greeted by Genosha's head intelligence officer. Her name was Sage - she didn't offer her real name to them. A fair skinned Pakistani woman, she was dressed in a black jumpsuit with a yellow coat thrown on top, and a single green lens over her right eye. Once everyone had sat down, Sage set a device on the table and it projected a holographic image. There was no mistaking it - it was Doom and Luminous, animatedly arguing with each other. The eagle eyed members of the group would spot a key landmark in the background - the London eye. "An agent I have placed in the South Bank spotted them at 0700," Sage explained. "I won't waste your time talking though - speedsters are tricky to track, they could already be long gone by now, but maybe you'll find them - or at least something helpful. Manifold is outside and willing to transport you to London when you're all ready."

Bonnie studied the projection. It was a continuous loop of about thirty seconds. Luminous and Doom were both in street clothes, although Doom's mask still gave him away, as he refused to show his scarred face. Luminous, however, could've looked like an ordinary person - a college student in a rebellious stage, dying her hair shock white. No one else was with them in the footage. And she didn't see any signs of injury to either of them.

Admittedly, Bonnie didn't know what she was looking for - some sort of clue, a sign maybe that would explain what those two were up to? There wasn't any sheet of paper with an obvious plan scribbled out on it, there weren't any henchman that she could see nearby, there was nothing to go off of. The only thing they knew was that things were tense between Doom and Luminous - and that was good. A divided enemy was always easier to face than a united one. "Thank you, Sage. This is helpful. And hopefully we'll be out of your hair soon," Bonnie said, before rising from her seat. She was ready to go.

When Amelia studied the projection, she got pretty much nothing out of it. It looked like Luminous and Doom, but she missed the landmarks in the background, so focused on looking at the foreground. However, Sage seemed like an operations type - and her life in the Blue told her that Sage was an expert spy - so she trusted her to know what was going on here. If Sage said they had to go to London, then they had to go to London. "Right then. Let's get a move on, shall we? Don't s'pose you have any inhibitors lying around - reckon those aren't looked on too kindly here, eh?"

Sage gave Amelia a thin lipped smile, before tossing a small box the size of a match box. "They are illegal. But I do have them. And now you have two. For someone of Doom and Luminous' strength... They'll last for an hour at most, maybe much less."

"Rad. Thanks, mate," Amelia said, catching the box. She opened up the box, revealing three tiny syringes, loaded with a clear and colorless substance. Amelia couldn't help but be slightly disappointed - she had hoped they would be glowing green. In her mind, all the best science-y things glowed green and looked ominous. This could've just been loaded with water for all she knew.

"Sparky..." Raynor said, looking at his leman :P for a second. "Is there any way I could convince you to stay here with your father? If something happens, Zari will need you - more than she would need me," Raynor pleaded. He wasn't going to push beyond this though. He knew that it was pointless to argue with Sparky and usually ended up in her shocking him with her powers, something that was irritating to no end. He knew people would complain if he had been the one shocking her, but it seemed like it was fair game for her to shock him all the time.

"I'd be happy to have you," Bob said, looking at Sparky.

"We could do a science montage!" Darcy enticed. "Ooor you could go be a superhero, which is also chill."

Cassandra sat at the table eating some of the breakfast that was brought out before them as Cassandra turned her attention over towards Sage as she came into the room setting the device down onto the counter. She leaned forward and watched the little clip playing through, she could tell that Doom and Luminous were at odds with each other which should make things easier to deal with then hopefully in theory. "Looks like they are arguing with each other." Cassandra said looking over at Sage and nodded, they could be long gone by now but she easily recognized the area she and her sister Carolina visited the Eye of London numerous times growing up.

She watched Sage tossing Amelia some inhibitors for them to use against Doom and Luminous, knowing the two of them though they probably had less time. Especially against someone like Luminous with her speedster physiology but every little bit would help as Cassandra stood up looking over at the others. "Alright lets head on out." Cass said as she took a moment to look at Sparky. "It's up to you if you want to come out not if you want to spend more time with your father." Cass said to Sparky as she headed outside.

Maria stretched slightly at the table as she took a sip of water and finished eating the rest of her breakfast when she turned her attention towards Sage. Sage was really good with getting intel she knew that much as she slipped a device out onto the table, and studied it for a moment seeing Doom and Luminous arguing by the looks of it. It seemed that the two of them weren't getting along with each other which could be used to the advantage easily. Maria stood up and stretched slightly.

"Well lets go catch us some baddies then, and we can get back home." Maria said stretching out slightly as she reached down to grab some of her gear she had nearby and started to make her way out to follow the others. She hadn't been to London in a really long time, she was pretty sure that this London was very different.

Niah slept well. She woke up surprised about that. She had expected strange dreams, but it had been quiet in her head. Sage gave them the information they needed. London. She frowned. That was awfully close to her counterpart here. And Oliver's. They may have sorted out their mental nonsense. But encountering their counterparts would not be good. There was a shift in her emotions before they settled, and she stared at the two villains on the projection.

These were her villains. People she had dealt with and would need to deal with again. All of her focused on the memories of them. She couldn't let Luminous run rampant. Though, the promise to Doom flitted around. He was still a danger to society. Any society. Niah stood. "I'm ready." She glanced at Oliver and smiled. If they ran into their counterparts, they could deal with them.

Matt arched an eyebrow at the image. Of course, they were going to London. He knew exactly what that meant. From what Matt had gathered, his counterpart was hunting down Oliver. If they came across Matt's counterpart, Oliver was at risk. He had to warn him.

"Well, I suppose it is good they are apparently still traveling together. And that there is trouble in paradise. We might be able to use that." Matt thought they might be able to convince Luminous that Doom had betrayed her. He doubted they could do the reverse.

"One thing, Oliver." He joined the other man. "Don't trust my counterpart." Niah frowned but didn't say anything.

Oli took the night of sleep with a kind of glee that he hadn't experienced in awhile. For what might be the first tiem in months, he slept like a baby. It might have been the exhaustion, or it might have been the fact that, for all the horrors of this reality, he was at least moderately certain that this universe's Thanos wasn't aware of his existence, and so he, for once, didn't toss and turn over the horrors that could come to pass if his father came lookingg for him, he felt a kind of safety that he'd missed since recieving his powers.

Oli nodded at Niah, confirming his preperation. London was close, for sure, and given the small bits he knew of his counterpart, theyy'd be in danger. He didn't know if he had speed, but if he did, Oli might be their best hard counter for him. There was the solid chance that this Oli was more experienced than he was, and that deeply worried him. An Oliver than spent the last... five? Ten years? with powers and using them would be a massive danger. Evil speedsters could do damage, and he didn't wanna know what he was capable of. He nodded at Matt, and answered, "Don't trust mine either, in the event we get split up and need to check who's who, let's establish a code word, I'm in favor of "skrull"." The idea of a codeword seemed actually useful in the case of doppleganger's who couldn't copy memories, and skrull was a funny one.

Flynn wasn't entirely sure what sort of information that the group had gotten for them or something like that. They needed to find Doom and Luminous no matter what, and so anything that the group could get with regards to where everyone was or where they were going. Things were just a bit weird in general, since they had just been sitting around, hoping that the Genosha people could help them out and find them.

He listened to the words that Sage spoke as they saw the image that she had, showing Doom and Luminous around London. Though the idea that they could be long gone by now made perfect sense on that sort of thing really. He glanced over as the group was talking about what to do, and how staying away from each other's counterparts or something was probably a good idea. He wasn't too sure about what sort of thing Oliver was thinking about with regards to a codeword or whatever, but he didn't respond about it.

Location: Genosha

Hearing the words in general about where Luminous and Doom were was a fun thing. They didn't exactly have a plan though, however with them going to London, the odds of running into counterparts was slim. It was a large city right? Which meant that they had a decent chance of avoiding the counterparts for the group who seemed to be based there. Made the most sense to her, but also knowing their luck somehow they'd run into at least one of them. If not all three, since that would be fun clearly.

Her attention was drawn away towards Raynor as he clearly seemed hellbent on her staying out of the way, again. As usual, this sort of thing of him trying to convince her to stay put tended to be a reoccurring theme or something at this rate. "Yeah, no, not just staying behind or whatever while you get to go off and catch the people who you weren't even wanting to go after in the first place. Besides someone has to ensure you don't end up getting yourself killed either," she responded to him, rolling her eyes a bit.

EARTH 257 - 8:10 AM Nov. 15th, 2021 - Genosha

Bob Banner's Home -

"I wouldn't die on you twice, babe," Raynor joked, trying to cut the slight tension. He had known Sparky would say this, but he had to try anyways. Truthfully, one or both of them should have retired from SHIELD the minute that baby Zarina came into being. He hated the idea that she was alone with no one to protect her - sure, baby Zari was with her Auntie Novikova and the West Coast Avengers, but that didn't matter. Raynor wanted to be there to protect his child. Zari and Sparky were the only people in the world who mattered. It was just the three of them - no more, no less.

Amelia snorted at Oliver's suggestion for a code word - skrull. "Love it. Probably too soon, but whatever, it's iconic and def what we should use," Amelia agreed. The entire skrull invasion had been less violent in the end than it could have been - sure, Maria killed the Empress, but who doesn't do that by accident? Everyone's been there - right? And Raynor hadn't actually been dead, he had just been off playing Sleeping Beauty in Asgard.

Bonnie rolled her eyes slightly. "Fine. Skrull it is." It was too bad that they didn't have a telepath in the group - once again, she felt the loss of Tinley and it pained her. She missed her friend. Not just because Tinley could've been immensely helpful in quickly identifying who was who, but also just because of how tragic her death had been. Tinley should've been there with all of them. Her stomach churned slightly - probably from the baby. "Let's roll out, then."

One request to the universe to distort later from Manifold...
EARTH 257 - 6:10 AM Nov. 15th, 2021 - London, England

Jubilee Park and Garden -

Manifold dropped the group off in the middle of a public park, and handed Bonnie what looked like an ordinary phone, explaining that it could be used in an emergency to contact Genosha if they needed help. He then wished them luck, before disappearing as he asked the universe to fold space-time, returning himself back to Genosha.

For the Brits, they would recognize that they were in Jubilee Park. It looked pretty much as it did on Earth-666, their home - gorgeous rolling green grass, beautiful gardens, and the London Eye - a giant ferris wheel - just steps away. There were gigantic bits of wooden playground equipment, crawling with children monitored by adults sitting down on benches, watching. A few people turned to stare at the Secret Warriors, as they were dressed in loaned superhero style garb from Genosha, making them stand out - that and the fact that they had just appeared from nowhere.

The streetlights and whatnot throughout the park had banners hung on them, most resembling the flag - but others depicting Queen Elizabeth III. Those with memories of Earth-257 would recall that Queen Elizabeth III, or Queen Betsy as the common folk called her, was actually half fairy - the United Kingdom had a strong connection to the fae in this world.

"Huh... She looks familiar, like I could've sworn I've seen a pic of her before in the world we came from," Amelia said, tilting her head at the picture. "Course she's bloody Queen Betsy here, but I'm pretty sure the other world just has an old bitty with some corgis in charge. Definitely not with purple hair." Of course, Amelia's confusion was understandable - in Earth-666, Betsy Braddock had swapped bodies with a Hand assassin named Kwannon, meaning rather than looking like a white British girl, she appeared Asian.

"We need to focus - remember, Luminous and Doom were here not too long ago. If they've already run, someone should have seen them, maybe they'll have an idea as to where they are going," Bonnie suggested. She didn't pay Queen Betsy any mind. She didn't care about who the monarchy was in this world, unless that was going to somehow help them figure things out.

Bonnie didn't immediately notice Doom and Luminous - it was so crowded, they were difficult to spot without their costumes. But after focusing her mind, scanning her eyes rapidly over the crowd, Bonnie saw them. They were at the very base of the London eye now, not too far away from the queue that had formed to get on, and they were still arguing. "There," Bonnie said, getting everyone's attention. "Oliver, you've got Luminous."

Raynor could've waited for instructions.

Instead, he put his hands in his pockets and started nonchalantly walking over there. He was dressed in a black leather jumpsuit, hardly the most incognito of garb, but somehow, Luminous and Doom didn't notice him. He managed to get all the way into the queue, just about ten feet away from the two of them, enough that he could overhear their argument. Thankfully, he spoke the All-Tongue, meaning that he could instantly translate from Latverian -

{{"There is something in my head, Victor - we should abandon the Nexus and leave, while we still can!"}} Luminous urged.

{{"Nonsense. We've come this far, you can abandon this quest if you want, but not Doom,"}} Victor scolded.

{{"This is madness,"}} Luminous said, glaring at her companion. {{"What if we are erased - what happens to your newfound power then, hmm? The abilities of a god but trapped inside the mind of a helpless, confused buffoon."}}

Niah snorted at Oliver's wish for them to use "Skrull" as their keyword. She shook her head slightly. But shrugged. It would work. She wondered if the doppelgangers were getting their memories too. Niah didn't like that idea.

Getting to London was easy. Space just warped around them. She wondered how Doctor Larson would react to how many worlds they had been to know. She had been shocked when she learned what Niah had experienced previously.

She looked where Bonnie had pointed. Seeing Doom and Luminous together in real life was unsettling. She didn't know what was going on with the two of them. Why they were working together, even if that seemed to be tenuous. She did not like that Bonnie said Oliver should fight Luminous. But she let go of the fear that started to build around the idea.

Yeah, there was no way Matt would have trusted Oliver's counterpart. Not with how hellbent his own counterpart had been on bringing him to justice. He did smile at the idea of having their code word be Skrull. "Sure, why not."

When they were in London, he looked up at the London Eye. A smile played on his face. He frowned at the whole Queen Betsy thing. Since he hadn't kept his memories of this place, he had no idea about her. Bonnie was right, though. They needed to focus. And he doubted Queen Betsy was the solution to traveling between universes. It wasn't impossible, just unlikely.

Once Doom and Luminous had been spotted, he frowned, focusing on the mission. He glanced at Cass. She was the team leader. Raynor started off. He sighed. Of course.

Cassandra Reed

Location: London, England, Earth 257
Skills: N/A

Cassandra stepped out of the portal that Manifold had made, she took a moment and looked around Jubilee Park she smiled slightly she had spent sometime here when she was younger with her sister Carolina, they'd ride the London Eye more than a few times. She stared at the picture of Queen Betsy, she didn't really care to much about who ruled this reality's version of England as she watched Bonnie pointing out where Doom and Luminous were as she quickly started to try and figure out a plan as she looked at her team. Of course Raynor quickly bolted off without a plan, causing her to sigh slightly.

"Alright Maria, Niah, Bonnie and I will focus on Doom." Cass told them, as she looked over at Matt, Oliver, Flynn, Sparky and Amelia. "Matt, Flynn, Oli, Sparky and Amelia you are on Luminous." Cassandra suggested, figuring that it would be the best course of action at the moment, she just hoped that they would be able to take them back without to much of an issue. Cass then stared at Oliver's suggestion of a code word and nodded slightly. "Thats fine with me." She told him as she started to make her way towards the queue for the London Eye.

Maria Novikova

Location: London, England, Earth 257
Skills: Stealth, Power, & Lifeforce Absorption

Maria stared at Oliver for a moment, and rolled her eyes slightly. "I swear you have a fetish thing for the Skrulls or something Oli." Maria said jokingly, she did regret killing the Queen in their home reality and she didn't even intend on doing that either. She stepped through as Manifold transported them to London. She hadn't been to London really before she knew that Cass and Matt however were from there, as she looked over at Cass and nodded towards her. "Alright then." Maria said to Cassandra as Raynor had already left towards the line to confront Luminous and Doom.

Maria started to sneak over towards Doom and Luminous, she didn't understand Latverian as the two of them talked amongst themselves, surprisingly neither of them noticed her or Raynor sneaking up. Maria quietly took off her gloves slipping them into her pocket as she grabbed Doom's shoulder making direct skin contact with him, as she drained his lifeforce from him more than she actually intended on doing and quickly released him his body laying down on the ground pretty close to death. "Long time no see, now want to do this the easy way or the hard way?" Maria asked her.

"Good, otherwise if you did I'd drag you back and kill you myself," Sparky said to him with an eye roll. He better not think about dying or something like that on her again. Nope, that was not something that she really wanted to think about really at this point. That was something she was a bit overly worried about, but she was definitely not going to really admit that out loud right now. And especially not in front of everyone else.

She'd never really been to London before, so she wasn't even certain where they currently were in the city. Sparky only really knew a few of the landmarks in the city, but she just stuck with the others and sort of followed along after them. Glancing over, she listened to more or less what the plan was, before others instantly went into action, and she wasn't too sure how to go about this, since it was insanely crowded, and they'd have to deal with the crowd.

The whole thing with London and what they saw when they got there was interesting to say the least. He probably shouldn't have been too surprised by the differences and all with the reality differences, but it still was a bit strange for him really. Flynn looked around the area, it wasn't too hard to notice the crowds that were surrounding the area in general, there was a line of people, and apparently in that line was where Doom and Luminous decided to hang out.

The plan did not really seem like a plan considering where they currently were. That likely was going to end not the greatest if he had to guess. There was a large crowd of people, and lots of little kids, if they weren't careful a lot of people and kids were going to get hurt. They couldn't just go up to them and deal with them. Which apparently was the exact thing that for some reason people decided to do. "Wait there's too many people!" Flynn said instantly as Maria ended up using her powers on Doom. This was not going to end well.

EARTH 257 - 6:20 AM Nov. 15th, 2021 - London, England

Jubilee Park and Garden -

The park was crowded despite the early hour - while on Earth-666 November 15th was an ordinary day, in Earth-257 it was a national holiday for the United Kingdom. Like how Queen Betsy was half-fae, November 15th's was Queen Aoife's Day. According to legend, Queen Aoife had cursed her children, transforming them into swans. The curse was broken by the morning light on the fifteenth day of November. Local superstition then held that to prevent children from being cursed by the fae, or to remove curses they already had, children needed to be outside at first light and remain outside until sunset this day each year.

The next thing Maria knew, after taunting Doom, she was being punched in the stomach - hard. Luminous didn't seem to have moved, the entire action happening within the blink of an eye. Maria would be sent flying backwards, hitting the ground and skidding. A group of school children screamed, and parents started frantically looking for their kids, cups of coffee being abandoned and dropped left and right. It was complete chaos now, people screaming and pushing and trampling each other in an effort to get out of the park. Someone was going to get crushed - or worse.

"Doom does not die," Doom vowed, before whispering a spell under his breath. On the second repetition, it took effect. In a perfect circle surrounding him, with a radius of about six feet, all of the grass and other plant life died. And Doom rose to his feet, his wounds instantly healed, stronger than ever. "And Doom does nothing the 'easy way,'" he stressed.

Doom began to recite another spell, only to be knocked to the ground by a blast of light. Raynor rushed forward, ready to pummel Doom, only to suddenly get punched in the neck by something moving faster than the eye could see. Choking and unable to speak, having taken immense damage to his throat, Raynor crashed into a tree. The autumn leaves all instantly fell off of their branches, gently falling on top of Raynor.

"Служи ме, Gargantos!" Doom shouted, and the air pulsed with mystical energy. The ground in front of them cracked open, sending those who hadn't been knocked over yet falling onto their asses, as it spit out a gigantic demon. The demon was a glowing red eye with multiple tentacles - Gargantos.

Doom then said some hurried words to Luminous in Latverian, and in the blink of an eye, the two of them were gone. And Gargantos, the demon, began to attack the innocent bystanders, ripping up trees and chucking them at small children without mercy.

"For those of you playing along at home, he told Luminous to take him to the Nexus - whatever the hell that is!" Raynor shouted above the chaos. It was hard to hear with all of the screaming of innocent people. Raynor sent off a blast of pure light, aimed at the giant demonic eyeball - the eyeball was forced to close its eyelid, but ultimately, that only made things worse - the throws of trees got more random and sporadic, making everything more dangerous for the fleeing citizens.

"Don't blind it, it'll only hurt more people!" Bonnie shouted over the chaos. "We need to evacuate civilians and kill it. Flynn, what do you know about demonic eyeballs?" He had worked for a fascist organization bent on destroying magical creatures - and had already proved himself on their adventures when it came to facing demons and whatnot. If anyone knew what to do here, it would be him... assuming it was their Flynn behind those eyes, and not someone else.

"Maybe it's time to start doing things!" Amelia shouted, before taking up into the air as effortlessly as breathing. It was a new skill she had been taught thanks to her merge with Aero, the Amelia of Earth-257. She defied gravity as she sent blasts of wind, blowing trees off course and out of the way of civilians wherever she could, but she couldn't be everywhere at once. Unless the team acted at once, people were going to die - children were going to die.

Oliver Sullivan

Jubilee Park and Garden
Skills: Super Speed, hand to hand

Oli nodded at the order form his superior; of course he was being stuck with dealing with the speedster. It only made sense, really. That being said, he fully expected for Luminous to be a more capable speedster than him, if only because she far outclassed him in experience. But was certain of one other thing, and that was that this person was a threat to Niah, somebody that she was scared of, and that meant he had no intention to hold back. Right from the getgo, he charged at the woman, ready to subdue her as quickly as possible.

As fast as he could, he tried to connect his fist to her skull, and was frustrated to see him just barely miss as she stepped aside. She was fast, he was right about that, but he had a backup plan. As his fist soared past her hard, he brought it down to go for his laser sword, only to find himself kicked and flying back. Groaning as he forced himself to his two feet, he exhaled, and said, "You know, and this is going to sound weird, this isn't the first time I've met you, the last time, a demon bear was trying to set us up as partners, can you believe that?" He sputtered outy, stalling to think of what his next move would be.

There had been so little time. Niah knew how often terrible things happened before she could react. And this was a big terrible thing. She had no way to fight this thing. She could shoot it, but she'd be better at trying to help people. She glanced over at Oliver. He had gotten hit hard, but he was still talking.

"Run!" She yelled. Waving to people to get moving. Some had frozen and not done anything yet. It was important to get them to think again and out of the frozen step before fight or flight. She felt bad that this world was having a calamity on their doorstep like this. But it was Doom's fault for summoning it.

Matt had drawn his gun, he was going to find a way to touch Luminous and give them a little bit of time with slowing her down. If he could touch her. But that quickly became impossible. She was gone with Doom. Shit. And, of course, left a monstrosity behind.

His bullets would likely be useless. But maybe...just maybe, he could get in there and touch one of the tentacles. He knew this would probably kill him. He was better with the gun. He shouldn't do this. But he went in anyway.
