So the only thing that would bar me from letting a Northern Elf in is one that's old and steeped in their actual culture since there's a Lot of Stuff that's set up in the background for them that might become relevant later on. I can work it, and it'll depend on how good your character will be at keeping secrets, but I'd also like our other accepted players' thoughts on whether they'd like a Northern Elf in keeping in mind that if I do let them in, they'd be privy to some extra background lore that could be relevant later on in the RP.

The only requirement is to have your character have a reason to work with others and have a reason to be in a caravan towards Ssanjuu! The rest can be molded as necessary.

The mystery for the moment mostly revolves around "what's happening in the North," which raids and freak snowstorms fall under!

@Vox, that’s totally understandable, and I think, unless they end up becoming especially close with someone over the course of the caravan’s journey, Stone wouldn’t talk much about Northern Elf culture for obvious reasons. I do think, due to their age, they’ve forgotten a great deal, but I fully agree that just forgetting their peoples’ cultural norms doesn’t make a lot of sense. Maybe some of the specifics are a little hazy, but they’d be aware of the broad strokes of how Northern Elf society works.

I like Stone as a character (I'm a sucker for characters with chances for personal growth and some mysteries to solve), so probably my slightly biased point of view it is would be fun/interesting.

It seems fairly easy for the character to keep things close to their own chest and simply let people assume they are a Southern Elf. I do always love when there is an element of IC mistrust in the future of information comes to the fore (e.g., Wen is probably wary of elves in general having encountered them in the North and in battle, but she understands Southern Elves can be an asset, if she finds out/realizes Stone is a Northern Elf, that math might change, and it would be an interesting dilemma for her to deal with).

Interested, and I think I have time for this, still accepting?
