Well meaning boi

Depending on what the posting timeframe expectations will look like, I have two ideas... will wait a bit and see how the gender ratio of character is before I decide on one. Thinking either an innkeeper or someone that works with the guild in deciphering ancient runes/text that get brought back. I could see both having a lot of potential for interacting with other characters.

So... I think I fused Legolas and Spike Spiegal and this was the result. Lmk if he's approved!

EDIT 1: I assumed the Inventory section was placeholder text, and would vary from character to character, so I did change that, since Nibby wouldn't carry those things around with her.

EDIT 2: Updated Race to Forest Arachne. Not particularly clever, but puns take time.

@Enkryption I can sense that Nibby might find a Kindred spirit in Wormwood, being their both not close to the village. No that I think about it maybe Wormwood is squatting in your cottage and is often a bit of a pest trying to eat the tasty leafs in your garden.

@TheNoCoKid maybe Rall has come across Wormwood in the woods before and after realizing he is not a threat he come out every do often to check up on the dumb little lizard? Lol

I'm interested to see how all the characters interact, @Crimson Flame and even though Mary is literally Snow White mixed with Cinderella I wouldn't mind her being the baker that is apart of my secret on my sheet.

Now as for leaving the village, Wormwood wants to be accepted by hoomans and be apart of either a small clutch of people or a community so that could lead into adventure hobo Wormwood so...

I could see, maybe, if he was in the immediate area behind the house, like, if he was squatting in her toolshed, he could definitely get away with that, if he was careful enough. And taking bits and pieces of her greens could be seen as wild animals being a pest, for certain.

But, Nibby is far too meticulous to not see anything amiss inside her cottage, and doesn't want her secret getting out, so she wouldn't allow anyone to stay over.

Her Druidic Transformation comes undone while she's asleep.

@Dark Cloud Honestly I could see Rallis and Wormwood having some fun interactions. Like, if Wormwood is good at finding things (I.e. arrow materials or tracking his targets), Rallis could “pay” him in food or other stuff to keep him going. It’d be less like a sidekick and more a paid partnership since Rallis could also supply Wormwood with stuff from the Hamlet or possibly give him an alternate residence in his cabin. 😜

Alright folks! Looking to square up starting skills and starting magic so we can polish them up together. If you don't think your starting skills reflect your character (including a little of hobbies, since you will start with some understanding of anything that your character would do regularly)

@scrawls accepted! I love the 'hunting down stories to trap in books' which is so evocative. Does this mean Boro has a special skill / type of magic that extracts stories in a very literal way? Going through the Character Sheets and starting to think about the spells/skills appropriate to start the game with (reflective of a key feature or playstyle) so let me know what you were imagining for Boro!

@Enkryption yes, there can be half breeds and also rare monster types, so I'm happy with that! Also I'm a sucker for Arachne I've made a god-race in my dnd homebrew world of mystical spider ladies. Is Dyrus a type of Dryad? Wrote more below after reading your sheet! V

@Enkryption Accepted! Would you like to start with any magic, particularly given her ancestry? Your instinct was right on for items - Inventory is customisable, the water/food was more incase someone went exploring beyond the Hamlet early on without provisions or making time for hunting. Really happy to see multiple goals too :D

Character in the works now. Hopefully it's fine I'll have an intelligent Slime Person. Basically a blob 😅 if not, let me know.

@Mae He isn't particularly smart so he isn't as inclined to the arts of mining as other kobolds are. I'm thinking he is a rare lil goober, green kobolds maybe have a strong belly so they eat pretty much anything plants and everythin. And yessiree physical attributes and mental attributes skills would be great. Stuff that reflects his Charisma, Dexterity and Wisdom. He is good at finding things and albeit at a rather rudimentary level know what plants are noy good for him to eat.
