There are powers throughout the Universe that even make the mightiest of beings quiver in fear. When a group of Replicators (Nanite based machines that have the sole purpose to consume technology and materials to grow their number), under the command of a Human Form called Sixth manages to break through the barrier between multiverses it finds a planet full of technology and resources at the centre of an advanced galaxy. It finds Coruscant.

The Jedi and the Clones fight valiantly but are unable to defeat the Replicators who continue to spread across the planet, wiping out any organic beings in their path as they continue on their conquest. Millions are dead, millions more are trapped as the majority of the Republic fleet sits in orbit preventing any vessel from leaving. Trying to prevent the spread of the technological menace.

Daniel Jackson, the ascended Human from Earth in the universe Sixth originated caught Sixth leaving their own universe and has went on a quest to recruit various ships and peoples from across the multiverse to come together to try and rid the Star Wars Galaxy of this menace.




TL;DR. Story driven in that the Replicators have invaded the Star Wars Galaxy. An Ascended being known as Daniel has brought together a group of vessels from across the multiverse in order to combat them, and try to protect the Star Wars galaxy.

It's similar to other Roleplays of this type that I've done with one major exception. Our characters know exactly what is going on, where they are and why they're there. They know they will be returned home, at the time they left, once the job is done.

Rules:

1. GMs rule is law.
2. If PvP results in a dispute GMs will decide on the outcome.
3. The usual rules. No Powergaming/Metagaming/Smut.
4. Respect your other players.
5. Have Fun




Applying:

As mentioned in the IntChk different ships have different power levels. This is because different ships from different franchises are set in different eras and with different problems to solve. I.E. In W40k, they have the ability to glass planets, yet in Stargate the human ships are only made possible by the reverse engineering, studying and help from alien allies.

It's important to note that the main reason the CS exists is to determine whether or not your ship will fit into the roleplay. This is up to the discretion of the GMs. Feel free to fluff the CS up as much as you want.

History of the Ship:

Built by Tails originally to battle vessels created by Doctor Eggman, the Blue Typhoon was adapted for space travel. Tails intended to power it with the Chaos Emeralds, but when they were scattered across the galaxy, Sonic and the others decided to use the Master Emerald instead despite initial objections from Knuckles. The Metarex learn of this and they send a giant robot to attempt to destroy the ship. Sonic and Knuckles kept the robots company while Tails and Chris prepare to launch the ship. After a few close calls, the ship successfully launches into the air and demonstrated its Sonic Power Cannon for the first time, destroying the Metarex robot.

Unique Technology:

The Blue Typhoon features a large hangar where several aircrafts are kept. Directly in front of this is a runway with palm trees lining it, modeled after the Thorndyke Mansion's driveway. The vessel is armed with laser cannons, missile launchers, and its main weapon, the Sonic Power Cannon, which fires Sonic as an accelerated projectile. In Episode 77, it's shown that the cannon can also work as a wave motion gun. The Blue Typhoon also comes equipped with a powerful energy projector which can produce a deflector shield or a cloaking field. Its engine, the Warp Field Driver, which takes up much of the vessel, allows it to travel at faster-than-light speeds.

Alright, got a bit of an interesting idea to propose.
But is it possible for one of the vessels brought in to be from an alternate Star Wars universe?

I'm considering a Sith from another Star Wars, who is currently in charge of the Malevolence, commanded by a General Grievous who is more accurate to Legend/2003 Star Wars than the Baddie of the Week treatment he got in The Clone Wars. The idea of another universes’ Sith/Separatists helping the Republic like this simply tickles me pink.

Pretty much playing my current Power Rangers Essence20 Campaign party. Yes, the ship has a time drive, but in this kind of adventure, they cannot use it due to it guaranteed to do more damage than it could ever possibly undo. If you want me to remove the Transformers elements, i'm ok with that.

Sweet, lol. But yeah, I’m expecting the Malevolence’s appearance in Republic Space to be something of a brown pants moment for both sides of equation. Depending on where in the timeline this universe is (pre or post Malevolence), things could be more or less simple. Probably the biggest thing that can help quell potential hostilities is the fact that letting the Replicators go free os hardly in the Separatists’ favor either, and if this is post-Malevolence, people will know that ship shouldn’t exist still, so that will be a good way to sell that, yeah, this isn’t business as usual.

But overall, yes, I expect complications will be inherent and probably funny. I especially look forward to the Jedi reaction to a Sith that isn't pathologically obsessed with killing them... not that the Sith will probably receive the same courtesy without some level heads acting as first contact. To say nothing of Grevious's presence and his entire cargo bay of issues. XD

I've refined this a bit, so timeline-wise, this is actually the second Malevolence that was being constructed at Pammant Docks in 21 BBY. It would have normally been destroyed by the intervention of an unknown Jedi Knight (the player character of one star wars game), but in this universe, that Jedi is thwarted and slain by the Sith that now commands this ship, Darth Sinnali. Because of Grievous losing the first Malevolence and Sinnali's intervention, she is instead assigned to command the ship. Grievous ostensibly has the greatest authority (and does even in regard to the Droid Army as a whole), but the true commander of this vessel in particular is Sinnali, who is there to act as a competent Force adept that can thwart Jedi sabotage/shenanigans and -more importantly in some ways- reign in Grevious's temper and counterbalance any irrationality his frothing hatred for Jedi might elicit.

History of the Ship:

The Avenger started it's life a cargo barge in the alien collective that has conquered the Earth in it'S local universe. During their conquest, the Avenger was disabled and lied dormant, until it was found by the surviving remnants of the Earth's defenders, the Extraterrestrial Combat Unit, now turned into guerillas.

It took 20 years, but eventually, XCOM freed their commander whom the Aliens were using for tactical simulations, and under her leadership united the various resistance cells and eventually kicked the Aliens from Earth by performing a decapitation strike on the Ethereals, the aliens ruling the collective.

Now without a purpose, XCOM heeded Daniel's request to aid a foreign world.
