Kali's a dropout so they probably have the same views on formal education, but still seeing the value in knowledge and always learning and growing. I could see her picking up any languages she doesn't know from him.

And since Kali's been in an all girls' school and traveling the world with mercenaries and assassins during her puberty and hormonal development I could see her and Red giving into physical desires once they started training together, but it never went anywhere further than that romantically. Since she'd see him as a friend, but also someone that could keep up with her in every way.

Edit: I forgot the most important. I can see them initially connecting and really bonding over being kindred spirits with not wanting to be like their fathers.

That works well, and would probably have helped Red figure some things out in terms of his rampaging hormones. Since two years ago we saw him very much at the whim of them, without understanding why - whilst simultaneously being intelligent and informed enough on biology to have a theoretical understanding of hormones and puberty on a conceptual level. He just had no experience to connect his theoretical understanding to the practical.

In other words, it'd have him realise why he was getting distracted all the time when female teammates (it hadn't even clicked with him that it happened to be the female teammates) would enter the room. And understanding and recognising what's happening is most of the battle... he's smart enough once that connection happens.

His view towards his father is complex. He never met or knew him, and because of that he wonders often whether his father actually had a point or solid reasoning for his issues with the Justice League. He asks his brother a lot of questions about him. But at the same time, he WANTS to do good himself, and shaves often because a moustache keeps growing through and makes him look very much like the man.

In summary, he doesn't know his father well enough to know for a fact that he WAS evil, but he knows that he himself wants to be good. And he's wary of being perceived of being someone others might think of as being evil.

Excited to see what you come up with for Kali, and glad to see this make a resurgance.

So I wouldn't be coming back with Vincent, at least not as a PC - I'm happy to have cameos or references to him - as the original plan was Vincent would discover his powers came from his nature as a hybrid of Human and a 4th-Dimensional race that granted him such mastery over the standard 3 dimensions (similar to Mr. Mxyzptlk's nature as a 5th-dimensional being, and all the craziness he can get up to as a result), and end up leaving this plane in search of more of his kind and hopefully his mother and biological, 4th-dimensional father. A 2 year gap is a very feasible period for this to have happened in. RIP the Vincent/Eilidh romance.

Hopefully this is OK - I have seen that Wraith has app'd a new character, and I'll be looking to do the same, but I'd like a week to think about sheets and come up with something I'm excited about.

I'd also appreciate if we could get an organized run-down of which characters remain (if we know)? So far, it sounds like Eilidh, Red, Kali, Varo, and potentially Connor are returning, while the rest are gone or having replacements being applied for?

A time skip reunion, very cool. I have some thoughts and maybe ideas but would also like to see what kind of group we have before fully committing.

I'll think about it. I've learned a lot of things about writing since and might scratch up a new character after catching up on the IC

As far as me and Hillan spoke that is the plan but I'm still unsure whether or not Julian will be waking up anytime soon.

Edit: Somehow, I could see Cece being akin to Flashpoint Cyborg or Booster Gold and being a high profile celebrity superhero now, still unfortunately with someone else pulling her strings. Strong, content public face, but more alone and miserable than ever when the cameras are off.

Yes and no, I kind of treat Link and 'The Wolf' as separate personas. So the Wolf being intrigued doesn't necessarily mean that Link is sold or relaxed as the case may be.

Edit: I approach Link as having some of the best traits of both Hulk and Wolverine with a very healthy dose of Bigby Wolf.

Seconding the idea of more of a casual, villain of the week/character driven RP - that's definitely what I came back for - more of these rich interactions. I'm looking forward to what the returning members cook up for new characters for sure :)

In general I think Dandy's attachment to Julian would put them in a very rough spot while he's in a coma. They've probably gotten better at hiding among humans, but become more cynical and less interested in integrating with society on Earth.

Also, I think they've been living in the walls of the Tower this whole time.
