Birthday: Summer 13
Age: Unknown, but appears to be a young adult.
Gender: Male
Species: Chrysanthemum could be said to be the 'egg' of a phoenix. Someone who lives solely to strengthen the 'life energy' of the phoenix chick that lives within him, he serves only to continuously live and die until the phoenix within him has gathered enough power to live by itself. To meet those ends, he has the unique ability to digest the lifeforce of another being, provided that they're still alive when he eats them. If he doesn't regularly do so, Chrysanthemum's age will quickly accelerate, until he reaches the biological age of 50, dies, and is reborn as a 10 year old. Outside of that, his blood has regenerative properties for those that drink it, but for some reason, it has no healing effect on those who are immortal.
Personality: Chrysanthemum is, in the eyes of many, a bit of a monster, an eccentric who eats his food raw and alive. Yet, outside of that sadistic tendency, he's a lax person, a bit slow to react, with underwhelming reactions in general, but a nice person. He likes to spend his time planting and caring for flowers, though the amount he grows never seems to correlate to the amount that he has on his store shelves. He speaks his words out loud often, and regularly re-confirms the time and date with others. Forgetful when it comes to dates and deadlines, it's a miracle, really, that he makes enough money to meet the rent deadlines for his shop every month.
Job: Owner of the Moon Flower Shop, which specializes in different variations of the Moonflower.
Family: Eggs don't have families.
History: Chrysanthemum was not born. He was crafted through a delicate array of magical spells by a five-century old phoenix, for the sole sake of becoming an egg for that phoenix’s child. With no purpose in life other than to avoid dying an unnatural death and feeding the phoenix chick inside him, he lived to live. His role was already determined, and ultimately, he had nothing in life that he loved, only fleeting feelings of longing. Didn't exactly help that he was effectively immortal, and thus, even the 'threat' of not being able to do anything great with his life existed. After all, he had more time than any other human, and was tasked with the noble mission of rearing a mystical beast, so his life was essentially fulfilled.
Then, he lost his memories, and began reliving.
Marriage requirements:
If mortal, phoenix must be birthed before marriage, and must occur before Chrysanthemum goes through one cycle of death and rebirth.
If immortal, phoenix must stay infantile for the entirety of the relationship, or Chrysanthemum has to gain another form of immortality.
For both routes, Chrysanthemum must regain the ability to care about anyone else on such an intimate level the first place.
Other: His favourite flowers are Moonflowers, though he also likes Blue Crystal Flowers and Pink Cats.
Due to his eating habits, he often eats in the basement of his house. He doesn't clean that place often, so the door will always be padlocked thrice.
In one of his past lives, he met a vampire who lived alone on top of a flying whale, and it was for her sake that he learned how to care for flowers. He's forgotten her name by now though.
A few years later, he revisited that odd town that had a flying whale on top of it, and was introduced to the wonder of Pink Cats by a girl that had the oddest hat he had ever seen, as well as possessing the odd ability to speak with spirits.
Five years ago, Chrysanthemum saw a giant golem wading by an island. He wasn't sure whether he was hallucinating or not, but he was pretty sure that there was a palm tree on the golem's head.
Chrysanthemum's theme song is Tsukiyomi.
