There are creatures of urban myth and legend. Shadows you see in the corner of your computer screen, when your computer monitor starts going fuzzy, that was supposed to be them, the little monsters in the Internet... If I walked up to you and said "Hey, there're tiny little monsters living in your computer." you'd say I was nuts. Well, 11 years ago, the Internet went nuts with rumours that were quickly squashed by the Japanese government. Pictures surfaced of mysterious vans with "A.D.C.U." Popped up everywhere. No liscence plates, no other markings, most of them were deleted shortly afterwards and any mention of them was quickly scrubbed from blogs and social media and everywhere other than the deepest depths of the web.

But fads are shortlived. The whole "A.D.C.U. paranoid conspiracy" phase that lasted all of 3 weeks before something else took the internets short attention span by storm, the big news was an EMP going off in the middle of Tokyo, the Highton View Terrace area went dark for almost 10 hours as, supposedly, planes fell out of the sky and crashed. The area was cordoned off and the big thing was sympathy for those caught in the disaster. However, the A.D.C.U. meme was reignited when what was clearly a fake movie trailer or something along those lines hit the various social media and video sharing sites of a Giant Lion attacking one of those vans. It was condemned as "Poor Taste" as the footage clearly showed this taking place in Highton View Terrace at the same time as the disaster. But as usual, sanity prevailed and "Someone taking advantage of human suffering with a hoax video" seemed far more plausable to the majority than there actually being computer monsters fighting a shady government agency. Of course, the internet didn't give up that easily, but the tin foil hat society is one that endures so long as some information remains classified.

So, this is all quite interesting but the big question is "Where do i come into all of this?" Well, the answer is quite simple. It is May 4th 2021. A large, dense fog has descended upon Tokyo. You may have been out and about when your phone started acting up, you might have been sat at home watching anime when the TV started to freak, you may have been at alone at the arcade when suddenly every machine turned off but one... In any case, you have just found yourself face to face with something friendly, sarcastic, cute, iconic or some combination of those and it's here to follow you to hell and back.

So, I had an idea for the Digivolution in this. Pretty much, I was thinking that each player gets a Digi-Armour Egg which you can use in much the same way they use the Digimon Trading Cards at the beginning of Tamers.

The other idea I had was that you can also use the Digi-Armour to power your kid as well.

Are you allowing frontier type characters?

tentatively interested... So, an extra read over just to make sure I didn't miss anything crucial, and it's pretty clear to me this is either in, or similar to, the original 2 seasons (especially with the armor eggs), am I right?

@Forsythe You mean you become the Digimon? Well, that's kind of what i was thinking with the Digi Armour Eggs, where your kid can essentially equip themselves with the Digi-Armour to kinda Power Rangers power up. That being said, this RP will feature a heavy theme on the bond with your partner. And i was thinking that Mega Forms would be Biodigivolution much like Tamers

@RickyG85 This is essentially a sequel to an RP i did that died with the old RPG forum. As for how the RP will go, it's gonna be more like Data Squad where you'll be recruited into an organization after you get a partner.

@mattmanganon That actually kinda works with what I have in mind, which is for the spirit totems yo actually vontain the data of the digimon their represent, allowing them to talk to MC in their head. I'll give it a shot.

@RickyG85 Pretty much, my headcanon for Armour Digivolution is "Rookies don't actually go to Champion level, they are still Rookies, just equipped with Champion level firepower. So, i kinda like the idea that the Armour works on other level Digimon or just on the kids themselves if they need to protect themselves when their partner isn't around or incapacitated.
