Well, in Nick's defense... it's not so much randomly jumping into an unknown abyss and more so his habitual refusal to work with others. This post is his attempt at self awareness and further personal growth at seeking companionships. Which is ultimately why he didn't ask Vonny to just let the girls go.

@Days Yep! :) They've been in the simulation since the fight at the Ethera, so the ending of Dark Beyond. Von Galloes actually won that battle, and put each fighter into a deep sleep, thus trapping them in a simulation. And yes, the simulation is shared, that's why it feels so real. It's like the matrix.

@Estylwen I've always imagined DB universe more as a multiverse and Vonny Daddy wants full control over the "access points" for time space travel. Am I thinking wrong?

@SporkoBug Obviously not Esty, but I think that Vonny Daddy has been "collecting specimens" for awhile now.

I've also been assuming that The Louvre has control over at least 1 access point, or at least shares access between other museums/facilities/governments with at least 1 point.

If the answer is yes... oh boy, this explains some stuff rather nicely and other ideas be at maximum effort!
