My better than LeeRoy's summary of what has happened, as we enter the lore told by one Lith the Great.
There is a Discord server where we had OOC communications with the enemy team (thereafter us 3Dark, them Bolts.) It also had two judge members to try and help move things along as clearly, we had a .. let's call it
breakdown of communications.
There was a long argument about the standards for character sheets and what the rules of engagement should be. This delayed the fight for months but finally got.. somewhat straightened out, so it finally resumed.
It resumed until a series of unfortunate events occurred.
One of their members quit their team. Turns out there was a bit of a kerfuffle with them. I won't say what they were accused of doing as I don't want to direct harassment their way. But it wasn't a good situation and they could no longer participate. I attempted to offer them a replacement member so it wasn't a 4v5, with the condition their replacement had to be where the old fighter was in character. They realized we had a good attack pattern lined up for that ex-member, and refused the replacement. Strange choice but, not mine to make.
So we resumed again.
The fight then halted again, as they declared on the aforementioned server that we were all dead. I'll spare you the back and forth that again took months: spoiler, the judgement staff did not agree, and none of us were dead.
This threw them into a rage. At least another one of them quit, while their advocate member demanded replacement judges that weren't "biased" against them. At this point the match was called.
TLDR: Hahahaha
I win! Only me though. Bango and LeeRoy and such didn't win. They're somewhat inferior to I, Lith.
https://www.udio.com/songs/uF8udj2FFtnAiQgD73zDj8 Let this official theme song celebrate this rip-roaring good battle for all time as the Bolts were not a very good series of opponents nor roleplay partners, but they were I think participants or something.
