"Well...I never said to say I was here for fun." Astra dryly comments, averting her eyes away from the trashcan.

And indeed, Jacob's eyes drift over to Bane's chest, finding and trailing along a few different veins. Then down to Bane's wrists with curiosity. There, his expression softens to something akin to understanding or acceptance, and he nods. "I will do what is needed."

Chi slowly sinks back into his resting position, just a bit closer, against the edge of the tank. Once again, he resembles a smooth boulder. The low hum from him returns, causing lazy ripples in the water as it slowly clears of green matter.

Dante coughed and said “you know what I mean Astra…” he laid back down and sighed. “Light headed…dizzy…did we ever figure out what that blast was that I tried to block”

Bane nodded and said “I was fighting with fangs during the war many years ago…I gave my blood to aid their healing as well…” he walked to him and added “alright, find a spot. I’ll let you find the best location”

Ash looked back at the others and asked “is he okay?”

She shakes her head, "if someone did, i didnt have it explained beyond the nature of your burns....and the tank was destroyed before we could look at it." She sighs and settle next to him, "I know, as a race steeped in dark magic, the toll will be terrible for you as you try to heal" she tries to go back to pouring the blood on him.

Jacob's hesitation gives him pause again, before stepping up, "That kind of thinking will take forever...Don't mind me." his final step is a bit quicker than others, and its soon clear why. The spot he has chosen is the classic, the neck...but its a very close and personal spot, probably very uncomfortable for someone who didnt already fully trust the werewolf just a moment ago. despite that discomfort, he doesn't pull aggressively. He's very polite about it, only taking his gulps in time with Bane's heartbeat, making it the most natural that it can.

Jeb peaked in and hums, looking through his notes. "We think he might not have been fully recovered from the last attack on him, and that he might have a case of shock from the force of the explosion." he pauses, "among the minor injuries he might have gotten was damage to his eardrums and a concussion. That damage is easier to heal as he is now, which is why i think he reverted back. But it also means we did not have time to give him a full examination- so we're guessing."

Dante groaned and said “and my contracts with the dark realm aren’t helping…this is going to be a long heal unless I can think of something to fix this…”

Bane turned so he could have more space to bite and he closed his eyes. He had forgotten how it felt to be bitten and drank from. He kept still the best he could, hiding the fact with the wound blood loss he wasn’t in full. But if it helped his would give all his blood.

Ash sighed and rested a hand on the glass. “Is there anything I can do to help him more?”

"....." she sighs, and hands him the blood pack, "Sip on this" And then afterwards, she envelops herself with shadow magic, and crafts a pod of pure shadow around Dante. This should clearly give a boost to his healing, but she wasnt going to mention how mana intensive it was going to be long term.

After a moment, Jacob retracts his fangs and it feels like for a second, he simply suckled on the wound, but really he sneaks in a quick lick to seal the holes he had made. Finaly, he steps back looking away as he licks his fangs, "you're low...don't go offering yourself to anyone else for the night."

Jeb hums, "....just be there, probably. Talk to him. I'm sure he will shift when he can."

Dante grabbed her hand and said “no Astra. It’s too risky to use that much right now. I know your skills. I know your limits. I’ll be fine just healing on my own…” he had jumped up to grab her hand, and this was a terrible idea. Pain hit him like the blast all over again and he grunted, his eyes glazed over as he fell to his knees.

Bane opened his eyes when he stepped back, but his eyes were dull as he said “couldn’t…not help…had to make things…easier…” he looked at the vampire, his vision blurring as he asked “did…you get…enough?”

Ash nodded and moved a little so she was more relaxed. “I’m here chi…let’s see, I can tell you about all my bots?”

Her magic stutters and fizzles as Dante stops her short, and she panics a little as he drops to his knees again and lowers herself down to his side again, "Dante...."

"One would think," Jacob starts with an even, but reprimanding tone, "that someone who fought in the war would know that you can't help if you're dead. Rising from the dead isn't pleasant, you know. I heavily reccomend you don't die, if nothing else than to avoid that." he looks at bane again with a smirk, playful and yet slightly threatening. "And I also reccomend you sit down."

Chi gently and slowly bobs up and down with his humming a little, but it sounds like a pleasant hum at least

Dante was panting weakly, his eyes out of focus. “That…was…unwise of…me…I can’t…move…”

Bane nodded absentmindedly, out of focus. “I’ve died many times on the battle field…but I’m not allowed to die like that…” he stumbled and grabbed onto a piece of scrap to keep upright. He had never had this problem on the battle field. But maybe bleeding three times in one day was his limit now?

Ash smiled and started telling him about all the bots at the shop, and what they could do. Aura smiled and said softly “I think they are okay now…who should we check on next?”

She nods, "Here, gently now...." she tries to help him lay down, not touching the spots he was burnt. "No more of that. You are not ok." she frowns and tries to speak sternly to him.

Jacob observes him and sighs, looking around the immediate area and pulls out a chair, one that is clearly made from the surrounding scrap. "Here, sit. And don't make me make you."

Jeb checks his list and shrugs. "Everyone should be accounted for." he looks up and smiles some, "What would you like to do next?"

Dante nodded and said “I know…that was all reflex…I can’t let you risk yourself in that way…your too important to this world…you…and Ash…are the keys to saving the people…” he looked dazed as he reached for her hand.

Bane leaned forward a bit and said “might…have to…” he stumbled back and his leg buckled a bit as the world titled on him.

Aura frowned and said “we better check on the general…”

Astra frowns, gently holding his hand "You can't be talking like that Dante. You're not allowed to talk like you're dying after you told me not to worry..."

"Ooops.." Bane finds himself in a pretty strong set of hands as Jacob catches him and gently lowers him to the chair. "You might need to get yourself a more thorough checkup..."

Jeb pauses and looks concerned, body stiffening some, "Did something happen?"

Dante shook his head and said “it’s not like…that…what I’ve seen this night…you two are the answer…I know it…and I won’t let either of you be taken too soon…I won’t…” his hand shook one hers, clearly a kind of shock hitting his system.

Bane held his head, the yard before him swimming as he nodded softly. “I think…your right…but as long as your alright…then it will be worth it…”

Aura pointed I the direction the other pair had gone and said “his heat is normally really hot but it’s dropped down fast. Jacob is with him but…”

Her eyes widen slightly, and she slides her hand to dante's mouth, "Dante...bite, now. No arguing."

Jacord blinks, expression opening showing how odd he felt that comment to be, "....I will ignore your strange sentimentality. You stay here. And remember, if you die, you will suffer. "

He quickly jogs over to the nearest hatch into the base, probably just about as Jeb and aura come by, because Jeb would have started running before Aura finished speaking.

Dante looked confused then did as she said and bit into her hand. Her blood hit his mouth and his eyes glowed red for a moment.

Aura had been opening the hatch and said “Jacob where is the general? What happened?”

Bane groaned as he held his head and the spinning was getting worse. “Dang it…over did it…can’t…shake it…”

She flexed her hands to keep the blood flow good, and presses down slightly, so that he cant fight back, or that it is difficult to fight back - given how weak he is.

The fang quickly gets out of their way, and motions in banes direction, looking concerned. "He is right over there, I do not think his state is normal, even for how low he is on blood."

After some talking, Chi moves again, stretching upwards and then begns to crawl and ooze over the edge of the tank towards her. The water is much clearer now.

Dante drank the blood till his eyes cleared and he gasped and let go, breathing hard. “Astra…knock me out. You have to put me under…”

Aura paused as Jeb ran to find Bane. “What do you mean not normal?” Bane was barely holding on as Jeb found him. His eyes were dull and his skin was cold.

Ash had been talking but fighting to stay awake as she did. She looked up and smiled at the slime. “Hey Chi…you look way better now…”

Astra pulls her hand back and instead of asking or demanding any answers, she spins a spell circle to settle darkness upon his mind, "Sleep."

Jacobs face sets into a grave expression, making eye contact with Aura, " His condition is changing too quickly. He could be dying."

Jeb's eyes widen as he feels Bane's skin, and looks for a pulse and signs of shock.

Chi bobs up and down a little, then drops to the floor and rolls over to her feet to start oozing up her leg. Once there is body contact, she can feel that his humming feels similar to a cat's purr.

Dante sighed and passed out, blood running from his mouth. His body couldn’t handle him awake and trying to heal. He was hurting himself by just being awake.

Aura thought then said “no…werewolves run hot thru their blood…come on, we need to get him inside so I can lava his blood”

Bane grunted as Jeb felt his pulse. “I’m still here kid…just too low on blood…too cold…”

Ash smiled tiredly and moved to pick him up, her eyes heavy. “I got you…it’s okay now…”

Astra sighs as she is suddenly in a dark, silent room. She contemplates leaving to check out everyone else, but she just decides that she needs to stay. she needs a moment of quiet, and to just feel her feelings. Besides that, she wasnt sure about standing up so soon after donating her blood for the second time tonight. She can't do that again, she notes. She is not a werewolf with enhanced healing, nor an elemental sprite that can absorb a surrounding eleent to heal, nor a liquid shifter that can simply replenish her mass.

She's just an elf.

Jeb nods, looks over at aura and Jacob to listen to what they're saying. Meanwhile, Jacob was already on his way over. "Keep your wits about you." he says, suddenly using his undead strength to lift bane and head back inside, "Otherwise, we might get to see a vampiric werewolf. Now, wouldn't that be quite the spectacle?"

Chi seems to settle into a spot, and continues his purr like hum. He knows she must be tired. It was late into the night, and they had two attacks in one day, with an attack the day before....even thinking about it is exhausting.... slowly, his humming gets quieter as he slips into a sleep state.

In the darkness Astra would feel something gathering and then a pair of silver eyes appeared. “Pardon me? Are you the shadow weaver?” The eyes soon came forward and a wolf was standing there, made of shadows themselves.

Aura ran to get the doors as Bane grunted “I don’t…get what’s happening…this hasn’t happened…before…”

Ash hugged him to her chest and sighed, trying to stay awake so she could watch over him.
