Archer Connor Grahm
Archer Connor Grahm is an experienced doctor with a focus in trauma. He went the route of institutionalized schooling and has done his time as a nurse as well. He is familiar with working 60 or more hours a week. A lack of sleep is something he specializes in too! Do not worry about him falling asleep on the job, he would never let that happen, and he will make sure everything is fine before he crashes out.
A hybrid between fighting men and magic using.
Physical changes that the dungeon has offered him was being something a little more than human. Still sporting his characteristics with the addition of animal-like ears that remind one of sheep or a similar creature. Horns on the top of his head. A long tail that he is able to control. In a fantasy world, Archer would be considered a firbolg. Except he is not quite that creature but a mixture of his original self with the additional characteristics.
Archer Grahm is a 29-year-old doctor that stands at 6'5" and weighs roughly 210 pounds. He has paler skin with freckles from his Scottish ancestry along with the red hair. He keeps a groomed beard with longer hair. He is fit for his age and tends to work out around his busy schedule. Archer does not sport any tattoos and has no piercings. However, he does have scars from the general adventures of the body with personal and work life, nothing too major.
The doctor will be starting this writing adventure in his wine-red trauma scrubs, his leather boots, and leather jacket. He has a backpack of extra clothes, sun glasses, a national parks hat, a few snacks, two bottles of water, a small medical kit, and a hunting knife.
Archer has different sides to him depending on where he is - personal life or work? With his family or friends? There is a variety of different traits that come out of him but the usual rational, semi-stern, father-like, and caring individual that he can be. Archer would have what is described as a "big brother"personality type and it is because he is one.
His main ideals are honesty, adaptability, accountability, and adventure.
What motivates Archer is the fact that his grandmother and siblings need him. He wanted to go to school to be a doctor when he was very young to help people. Helping people is what motivates him the most.
Some of Archers most prominent flaws are not being able to sugarcoat the truth (being too blunt), being too independent (forgetting to ask others for help), and being too bossy/demanding at times because of his leadership roles at work (he brings it into his personal life) and it doesn't help that he had to help raise his little siblings with his grandmother with a decent age gap.
Weaknesses that Archer will run into because of the dungeon molding him into a human looking firbolg are:
- Iron; if iron comes in contact with his skin, it'll cause him to rash out.
- Salt; it might not kill him though he will have a very dry mouth and want a lot of water if he eats salt.
- Not being able to lie directly; he has to be careful about his wording from here on out.
Archer did not have a very healthy work-life balance when it came down to it. He works himself to death instead of having a proper social life or a life at all. If he is not at the hospital, he is usually sleeping, and skipping meals then going back after resting. He is constantly working in trauma care, surgery, or the emergency department as a whole.
Archer was the eldest of five siblings. There was a time in life where his parents got along though by double digits, they started to fight constantly, and it go to the point where their parenting techniques were lacking. Once everything hit the fan, one day, that was when Archer and his siblings went to live with his father's mother. Being the oldest of the kids at this time, he was roughly 10 years old, and the second oldest was 6 years old. He felt the need to constantly help and pretend to be "Dad" because his grandmother needed help (their grandfather passed away) and no one else could constantly help out.
With the struggling life of a teenage boy that was working non-stop while trying to go to school. There was disruptive times in his life where he would lash out or do out of the characteristic things that caused him to get in trouble with the school principal or sometimes a car ride home in a police car. There was nothing he did major or could get legally in trouble for but it was little things. Their community knew he had a hard life, he was the eldest, and experienced all the issues of his parents and their relationship. It was even worse when their parents somehow found "peace" and "prosperity" when the kids were out of the picture. That was when the hardships started even more. His parents got back together, were having a wonderful life, but didn't want any of them back because the kids were the "issue".
Helping raise his little siblings by his grandmother's side, he helped pay for things as well while in high school, and juggled those responsibilities with keeping up on his grades. Somehow he managed to keep in the A's and B's range all throughout his high school career and was able to get into a local university where he was able to start his studies as a medical major. He continued to do his best for his family and it was a hard time when his grandmother passed away. He became the sole provider though all his siblings were teenagers or older at that time, thankfully.
Extracurricular activities that Archer grew up and was able to do was some sports; hockey, swimming, and cross-country. He was able to get into boxing in college and he had fun with a girl and learned how to swing dance and a few other styles because of a dance club. Another thing that he was able to learn was the kalimba in his spare time.
Core Healing Abilities
❁ A healing touch which cures small cuts, scrapes, bruising, and can even suppress pain to an extent.
❁ Life transfer; Archer will learn that he is able to give life to help others which heals severer wounds. He takes d12 exhaustion from doing this.
❁ Potent Sight; he will be able to look at vials, liquids, and substances and be able to determine their toxicity amount.
❁ Poison/toxicity removal is something that Archer is able to do. However, he takes half the damage that the person would have taken. Archer being poisoned can go away in five turns if he continues to roll d20 with outcomes 10 or higher compared to regular individuals where it would last longer and require an outcome of 16 or higher.
❁ Redirect; Archer will be able to redirect wounds. This allows him to transfer the wound to himself and touch an enemy to apply it to them.
❁ He can see about fifteen feet within extreme/pure darkness and better than a human at night time.
❁ Medicinal alchemy knowledge and abilities, this requires herbs, water, and other ingredients to make things like cough syrup, cold medicine, wound paste, bandages, and so on.
