The enemies on the bridge seemed to have been mostly defeated by Siris's other allies, his underestimation of the river's flow causing his tardy arrival. The sole remaining enemy giving him not interest whatsoever in aiding his allies. However, as he stepped foot on land again he noticed the large amount of warrior's approaching Zarif. He doubted the merchant's capabilities at facing 5 enemies at once.

Siris: "Zarif damn you! Using a horse is cheating, lead them this way so we can have a fair competition!"

With a single enemy close by still alive and kicking, Lyun stomps forward hoping to make good use of the opening created by his two magick wielding allies. He holsters his hand axe, Ia still tightly held close with his off hand despite her complaints.

As the brigand ducks below a noxious smoke cloud, the brute pulls out the relic Makeen gave him back at the ziggurat, wondering if he'd be able to mirror even half of the expertise needed for a trained blade to deftly dance around a heavy and sluggish axe wielder. If that ancient blade could still be called a weapon, even.

One messy swing later, the brigand lies face down gurgling blood, his neck all but crushed by the impact of the blade's dull edge.

Lyun: "Hm..."

Lyun moves to P-22 and attacks Axe Brigand #4 with his Ancient Blade, dealing 14 damage and killing them. Gains 20xp.

Zarif, having charged the force of horsemen, rode past them, lance held firmly pointed towards the horizon after his daring, reckless just with their point man. The merchant took a small slice to his cheek, but the foe had taken the worse of it, clutching at his side as his own lance wavered from the pain.

Turning, he swapped for his bow, knocked an arrow, and with the ease of a sleepy sigh, finished off the wounded Cassite, galloping back towards the main force of his allies, confident he and Salador could outrun the mere horsemen
