Hey again everyone! Sorry for the radio silence these past couple days. Work keeps throwing new projects my way, so I've been kinda running myself ragged to get them all done on time. I think the one I'm working on tonight is the last one, so hopefully I'll finally get the ball rolling on this RP afterward.
Also @OliveYou those sketches are absolutely adorable. The drawing of Eikichi with the fans made me laugh out loud, so thank you so much for that. XD
@ERode I definitely feel like the Junko-Suzuka rivalry is absolutely 100% necessary, since Junko only respects those who give their utmost and Suzuka absolutely hates to lose at anything. Probably something where to everybody else they look like archenemies but for the two people in question it's just their way of showing respect.
Re: Olive's rankings, I feel like Suzuka is also near the middle of the pack academically. She's not particularly gifted, but as mentioned in her CS, her competitive streak extends to trying to place as high as she can in the rankings after each major test, so she studies really hard. Probably ends up consistently around Eikichi's level, just because I feel like it'd be really cute to have them going back to the longstanding tradition of placing bets on which one of them will beat the other. "If I score higher than you on the next test, you've got to treat me to lunch" sort of stuff.
Also, final note, but I'm thinking of re-using the town I came up with for an old slice of life RP I used to run, which would mean setting the story on a fictional island town just off the coast of the Japanese mainland. More or less one big city center at the foot of a mountain, and then a lot of increasingly rural suburbs and countryside, so it's a little bit of a backwater. Lot of potential though for childhood memories of hiking up the mountainside or going on tests of courage at run-down old shrines, so it feels like it would vibe with the cast we've got here. Dunno how well that works with everybody's backstories and family circumstances, though so I wanted to double check if that's cool with everyone.
