Kiyomi Sato-Hon
Konoha Jounin, Team 2

Kiyomi heard and noticed Hayate. As he promised it wouldn't happen, that he would show up that late again, Kiyomi simply nodded. She saw no need to berate or lecture him. It could happen. If he knew that it wasn't proper to do it, there was little need for her to push it any further. ''Good, now that we have assembled. Time to go. I will brief while we're going towards our goal.'' Kiyomi informed them. With jumping up and sheathing Samehada in her special sheath, the young jounin didn't wait that long before dashing off. With a reasonable pace, she would wait till both Leo as Hayate would be catching up with her.

''You both know each other as well you know me. So introductions aren't that necessary. That and I'm already highly aware of both your combat capabilities.'' Kiyomi gazed at Hayate over shoulder, for a moment. Just a moment before she would look away as she would continue to lead them out of the village. ''That said, I do want you both to be serious and listen to every command I give. This mission is classified as a C ranked mission and I need you two on your best. Our mission is however simple in concept.'' Kiyomi said.

As they approached the main gate, she would her left indexfinger against the earphone in her left ear. ''We need to search and take out something that has been disturbing a small hamlet. Cause we don't know the exact location or such, we'll use the standard earphone communicators. Keep them activated at all times. I can't stay and keep helping you both at all times, so keep that in mind. We don't know what is troubling the target location, but best is if we just keep that as a ground rule. Any objections?'' Kiyomi asked, still looking where they were heading as she saw the entrance of the Leaf. They would need to travel some hours, but at this pace it wouldn't be much of a trouble. Hopefully both Leo as Hayate hadn't diminished in their abilities. Nor hopefully wouldn't they disobey an order if she would give one.

Mika Hayashi
Kirigakure Jounin, Team 14

Mika noticed that Rai understood the lesson. Asking such questions would meet an answer from Mika they wouldn't enjoy. Seeing that the other genins stayed quiet, likely not to suffer the same sarcastic reply to a question, Mika kept leading them out of the Mist. The hide out was around a short distance from Kirigakure. Mika wondered why bandits were this close. Before she wasn't sure if bandits were present on the isle with the Fourth Mizukage in rule. But that was likely due him being the biggest bandit, she thought with a bite on her lower lip. It was strange to not fear that she was constantly watched as the Fifth Mizukage was a different story than the Fourth Mizukage. With them out of the village, Mika rose her right hand in the air. A hand that she held open before clenching it in a fist. ''A hand signal. When a leader does this, it means you need to strike. Remember it well. We'll move in when I say so. Those who dare to move before I give the signal will be left to fend for themselves'' Was the instruction of the woman.

The reason why they were after bandits wasn't because she was anxious for some action or because she deemed her students to be ready for it. Even worse, she wasn't sure if they would be sure for a real combat test. But they had shown some things she could be content with. For now she wanted to see if they would listen to orders. Else she would have to drill them, in order to make them listen to orders. Mika however would see what would happen. For now it was just to see how they would perform.

Harumi Uchiha,

The Mission at the border.
A paper in the sand.

Part I

Looking from the top of the tree, the raven haired woman saw the group clearly forming. They were doing what they were tasked with. Going with a patrol to ensure that no Sand nin would dare to cross the border into the River Country, thus into the Fire Union. Harumi thought of the secondary objective of the mission. These past few days she had not notice a patrol of Sunagakure nin. Problem was likely that they were being on their own ground as they knew better than to approach the border of the Fire Union. The ANBU folded her hands together as she began to think. Though she wouldn't be failing Hisoka if she would come without a Sand nin, she knew better. He would likely remember it.

Thinking about how to complete both the missions, Harumi ordered that they would set up camp. She would finish the mission of capturing a shinobi of Sunagakure by herself at night. An idea was being formed in her head as she had an idea how she could capture a shinobi of the Sand without any high chance of a fight. Slowly as the night fell, the company that was under the command of Harumi made camp. It was around ten shinobi that was on patrol. After all, the Sand wouldn't likely dare trying to anger the Fire Union. Not after their last defeat a little while back. It was weakened and not in the state of being able to face the wrath of the Fire Union alone. Harumi waited until the time was right. Making sure that nobody would check again if she was sleeping, she would sneak out of her tent. The group was paying watch to their surroundings, but Harumi knew where every watch was stationed. Besides, the sensor was on the look for unknown chakra signatures. Taking the wager, she made her move.

After ten minutes, she walked up a sand dune. The temperature wasn't that hot at night, but Harumi disliked it here. The lifeless dessert, in her opinion, was a reflection of Sunagakure. Barren, annoying and most of all : nothing interesting. How one would call this barren place home was beyond her imagination, but then again she wasn't sure why those desert rats once had it in their mind to challenge Konohagakure. Likely the sun had burned their remains of a brain away. As she continued to mock the Sand, she noticed some light in the distance. A camp? Now she was highly on guard. Her plan to surprise and capture a nin of the Sand was about speed, surprise and being ruthless. Slowly she sneaked towards the camp. Licking her lip, behind the ANBU mask, Harumi narrowed her eyes. Slowly she formed the handsignal as she performed the jutsu.

It was time to strike.

Leo Hasewaga

Leo would smile as he saw the figure of Hayate from a distance, showing a wave things would get down to business as Kiyomi explained the mission, Leo would took his head in closer to make sure he had heard everything. Her tone seemed serious, so play and fun was definitely a no. Hearing the word C rank, Leo would pay more attention, his concentration not moved, but still. However something did make it sway a bit, it was when she said she a good idea of their combat abilities. Leo wasn't expecting a compliment, but he believed he had become better at what he had been practicing, but now that he thought about it ; it wasn't up to him but up to his mentor to tell him that.

As they racked up on ground, Leo would be behind them, but close. He listened to the details well and registered them. As he took it all in, the conclusion would ready. "So we search?" He understood the mission required stealth, like every other mission, but this one more likely then others, he would adjust his earphone device, the wire under his hoodie. He wished he would of wore his black instead casual one, to guarantee an advantage of stealth "I have none sensei." He said in a formally as if it was his first time meeting her, he had hoped Hayate had all information stored in his head too as he felt they would need to split up.

Meisa Ichi,
Yondaime Hokage Assistant.

From out the shadows, a voice spoke up. ''Meisa is perfectly fine with it. She isn't however fine that you aren't going yet.'' A female voice said, in a very serious tone. A shady silhouette was seen, leaning against the wall, in the shadows. With her mastery over Silent Killing, she kept herself hidden in the office. Not because she wanted to spy around, but because she took caution in her work. With her position it was clear she had influence over Hisoka, but she didn't want to give people the idea that she was always around Hisoka. It would be better if the Hokage would sometimes be alone when giving out orders.

She was just like his shadow. There, silently and always with him. Of course, when she was at work. The fact that Sakamoto wanted her to say that he should go was irking her a bit. Sure, she understood him, but it was a tad annoying never the less.

''Now, I suggest you get moving. Bring some milk back.'' The silhouette seemed to fade as any trace of the master assassin vanished. Meisa had no intention to act all lovely dovey in front of Hisoka. Work meant to keep the Leaf safe and thus also Mayumi. She would likely check upon her daughter when Hisoka had some meetings of his own. For the mean time, she would stay in the shadows, only coming out of them when the Hokage would ask her to.

Aiko Cho-Hon
Konohagakure Jounin of Team 8.

With her genins ready and able, Aiko nodded as she would lead them out of the dango shop. ''Good. You all know the drill. Keep the earphone communicator ready at all times. I think it will take a time before we need to split, but I am certain there will be a certain need to it.'' Leading them, Aiko would pick up the pace. She didn't want to spend too much time lingering around. Something she had been doing, actually. Once she had picked up a pace and was sure that both Koike as Mamoru could follow, Aiko spoke again.

''Remember, we're going to cover quite some area. Most the people are civilians. That means you need to be on your best. Don't react with anger back or such. Stay calm, polite and don't waver to ask me a question. That is just my job after all.'' Aiko told them, through the earphone communicator. In the pace they were going, they were out of the Leaf in no time. Likely within a day they would be at their destination. Though they would have a break. Though she would order a good pace, she was aware that tiring them out wouldn't be the right thing to do. Not for now.

Yumi Hasewaga,
ANBU Operative, Team 4.

Listening to what Tsubasa said and Ryo asked, then to what the answer was, it was all clear for Yumi. Nodding that she understood that using her Release could give too much away, Yumi had other skills and abilities that could come in handy. The white waist sash of the Four Protectors reminded her of what was expected from her. The thought of being seen as a skilled ANBU in both stealth as in some other subjects by Kiyomi made Yumi think a bit different. She could use her few Earth Release techniques, taijutsu and advanced skill of Silent Killing to aid the Team. ''Shall we move out then, Tsubasa?'' Yumi proposed as she was eager to head out.

Shiro Nagakura

The sudden blast took Shiro for a loop. He did not see something like this coming from a quite and tranquil forest. Without hesitating, he jumped to the left, dodging the explosion's debris. A cloud of smoke seemed to have blocked his sight from his Sensei. Even with his eagle eyes, he could not see around things, it wasn't the Byakugan. All it was, is that he can have a wider set vision. His peripherals catch more than the average ninja, allowing him an upper hand during close encounters. It's basically a different perspective of his vision. But anyhow, at the moment, his vision didn't help him. Somehow, Emiya Sensei must have been caught by the blast and sent flying somewhere. The question was, who set up the trap?

He turned to his teammate, hoping she had also made it unharmed. It seemed that the explosion had been targeting them as a group, it obviously failed. There was no way their Sensei would have died from such a weak trap. It failed to take out the entire team, but it did separate their strongest player, which could have been the plan all along. "Stay on your toes, someone's out there, I can feel it" Shiro announced over the overwhelming silence. He removed the two trench knifes from the sheaths attached to his belt and prepared for the worse. He would not die here, he still hadn't met the Amegakure Kage.

Closing his eyes, he focused on letting out a little chakra to encase his blades. With a little hesitation at first, Shiro managed to form what seemed to be a barrier, around his trench knifes. This would give his knifes a boost in cutting power, along with range and defense. They were chakra blades for a reason. He looked at his partner once again to make sure she was ready and not frightened by the sudden encounter with a trap. Even though he had already spoken to her, he forgot to make sure she wasn't in shock or anything. Since she seemed very close to their Sensei, she might run off in attempt to find him, rather than stick with him and ensure their own survival.

Ezuri Hyuuga

Ezuri cocked his head as he listened to Kensuke-sensei closely. cut down a tree? seemed easy enough. Ezuri pretended to be going around Kensuke from the left side but quickly ducked to the right and started running uphill while activating his byakugan.

"Focus Ezuri, you will never succeed if you don't focus" my father said as he stood on top of the water in front of me. I am cold and wet, climbing out of the river. Once more i focussed the chakra at the bottom of my feet and kept my eyes closed as i stepped forward. it didn't take me long before i reached the middle of the river, I finally mastered it! In my excitement my footing became a bit unstable but i was able to maintain my position. "Good Ezuri, now try the eight palms" I looked at my dad, In this situation? "If used correctly, eight palms can cut down a young tree or a break small rock"

Ezuri wondered how many palms it would take to cut down that big oak, IF that was even possible, maybe he should get a Katana of some kind.

Mia Inuzuka - Team 9

Mia began to get serious as the turtle retreated into its shell and only used its tail to propel its self forward and throw mud at everyone as a distraction. As she listened to her team mates through the ear piece she began to put her plan into action.

"Masami, your gonna have to move back from the turtle i don't want you getting caught in my jutsu." Mia placed her hands together and in quick succession she performed the four legs technique, making her look a lot more animalistic. A growl left her lips as she placed her hands together again performing the hand seals very quickly. "Fang over Fang," she said calmly as the aggressive looking ninkun launched themselves into to the a air with Mia not far behind, three deadly looking spirals aimed right for the turtle's shell. She was sure as hell that it would hurt, and piss it off. As she landed she watched the turtle's reaction very carefully.

Hiron Hon,
Konohagakure Jounin | Team 9

So they were working together now? This was better than just coordinate their attacks and revealing to each other what they were doing. Hiron noticed that they were talking to each other, but he would train them later in use of tactics. It would be safer and much better if they had learned pre-set tactics and would use simple words to signal what tactic would be of better use. Of course, what they were doing now was covering it. With Shikaroku holding the turtle in place with his shadow technique, Hiron then noticed that Mai was requesting Masami to make some distance as she and her ninken launched their attack. It was in basic terms a good decision and attack. Holding and pin pointing your enemy was always a good manner to take them out. If you had neutralized their defenses as well. Hiron narrowed his eyes.

The turtle made some annoyed grunts as he noticed that he was being hold back. His tail made some slow and rather strange movements, likely trying to break free from Shikaroku's shadow technique. ''You...'' The turtle's deep voice rumbled from out of the shell as his head came out and frowned. He had heard some noises and then noticed Mia's ninken and her attack. Instantly the head moved back in as the tail also moved in. Spikes then moved out of the shell, at the top.

Hiron had saw this coming as they had forgotten to check the defenses. However..
His gaze went to Masami, as he had suspected that she would likely alarm that the turtle had little defenses on his flanks now. The spikes could only erupt from the top. Hiron did wonder if Mia had forgotten about that. Last time, he had made this mission too with the previous Team 9. They had worked together in order to beat the turtle, which ended in success. This team had some more potential as Shikaroku wasn't as silent and distant as Xinsai, nor did they had a loudmouthed troublemaker as the Bull. For now it was waiting what they would do in order to prevent the creature from entering the lake.

Satoshi Jun
Kumogakure Specialized Jounin | Team 3

Watching Kato's walking back and said that Satoshi should take care of the earth wall, the young man cocked his head a bit to the right. His conclussion was simple about Kato. He managed to it nicely. There was some big flaws, but like every genin, he would be trained to lessen that. His flaws were that he was too direct. Satoshi had been suppressing a smirk when he had noticed Kato had prepared his turn, with his jutsu. It was however a big flaw that the boy had charged. He had little idea of Satoshi's abilities and if it had been a real battle, the boy would've not been able to get through the wall. However, it was just a little test on what they could do. Making another shadow clone, Satoshi spoke. ''I will do. Take it easy now.'' Satoshi politely instructed. The shadow clone took out a kunai. The weapon glanced with a strange glint. A blueish one.

Suddenly the wall was crumbling as the clone had lashed out with the kunai. The blueish glint around the kunai had spread out a wave of pure chakra, slicing through the earth wall. Then it faded away as the clone stored the kunai away, turning his attention to the last member of the team. The real Satoshi nodded. ''Shizuka Nadra. Your turn.''

Yoshikuni Sadako

Just as Eiji was beginning to answer her second question, something happened. A few explosions occured, seperating Eiji from Shiro and Kuni, and a few other explosions happened as well before several earth walls came up, blocking out Eiji and most of the view from around them. The forest around was not helping one bit, but she was already having an idea of what to do. Looking at Shiro and seeing he was preparing for a fight, Kuni did a few seals and pressed her hands against the ground, silently creating an Earth clone which was already using the Hiding like a mole technique, to try and find Eiji.

Giving Shiro another look, she begin doing a few more seals "Shiro, right? I am going to use a jutsu which should bring down the earth walls, so be ready for anything." She said, and did the last seal before needing to send chakra through the ground. She was intending to make the earth below the earth walls collapse, and bring those down in return. Deciding she waited enough time, she pressed her hands against the ground once again and sent the chakra to the earth below the couple of Earth walls in front of them, beginning to bring those down "Get ready!" She said and stood up, doing a few seals and beginning to gather Earth chakra around her fist. She knew Eiji told them not to use too much chakra, but she didn't care.
Chou Minori

Remaining in silence as she saw their sensei showing them the mark to strike and told them that anyone who will do so before she gives the sign will be left alone to protect themselves. Sounded perfectly reasonable in her mind, Chou though, as she grabbed her medium scroll and simply prepared herself. She had no idea of how will her teammates were going to do, but she had a feeling that no matter how good the bandits are, they will still have a bit of trouble with what she had planned for them. Her face showed no expression or interest in her team, as the only thing that was on her mind right now was to ensure the mission will be a success, and that none of the bandits remain alive to tell anything.

Sakamoto Senju

Hearing Meisa's voice come from behind him and assured him that she is fine with it made the Senju calm down a bit more and nod to himself. He kneeled on his right knee and placed his ANBU mask on "Consider the delivery done, Hokage-sama." He said in a serious voice, to show Hisoka he still has his entire respect for his title and for his job, before quickly heading out the window the same way went into the office. Quickly moving through the roofs of the village allowed him to reach the village gate with ease, and soon enough he began making his way in the direction of the land of Water, where he hoped he will not have too much trouble with reaching the Mizukage.

As he made his way through the forest which surronded Konohagakure, he started to calculate how long will the mission take, and then bit his thumb before doing a few seals and pressing his hand against his shoulder. This made a small cloud of smoke appear around his shoulder, and a small, blue slug appeared on his shoulder and watched the road "What is it, Sakamoto-sama?" Tomoko asked him, and he took a moment before answering.

"While I was already informed by Meisa that she will ensure Mayumi is safe, I also want to make sure everything in the village will be alright. I want you to have a small part of you near the Hokage's office, but not inside it. Just inform me if anything happens, so I will be able to decide if I need to quickly head back, or if I can first finish the mission. Its nothing too serious, just to- Sakamoto didn't get to finish his sentence as his summon finished it for him "Ensure the safety of the village and your friends, like always." The blue slug said and nodded to herself. The Senju nodded "And my family too." He added, and the slug vanished from his shoulder with another cloud of smoke, and he kept heading in the direction of the Land of Water, in the direction of Kirigakure.

Hayate Hyūzu
Konoha Genin - Team 2

Following closely behind Kiyomi, Hayate brought his thoughts to the mission ahead. He had already gotten off to a poor start by arriving late, and he had no wish to make a worse impression to his new team, even if he had prior experience with them. Kiyomi's mention of their combat capabilities brought Hayate's attention back to the present and he looked up, just catching her eyes as she looked away. His thoughts now clouded, Hayate barely heard Kiyomi's next words. As she asked whether or not they had any objections, Hayate responded. "No Kiyomi-sama. Will we be splitting up when we arrive?"

Noticing that they were exiting the boundaries of the village, Hayate tried to bring his thoughts under control once again. He kept his gaze ahead, keeping pace with the others. He was excited for this mission, he only hoped that he would be able to keep his thoughts on it, and not get distracted. He wasn't worried so much about the stealth element of this mission, nor did he doubt his teammates skills. Hayate's only real concern was how they would all work together. It had been awhile since he had had a chance to train with either of them, and Hayate knew it would take awhile to work out all of the kinks. Shaking his head to clear his thoughts Hayate chastised himself. This doubt, it wasn't like him. Looking forward he locked his gaze momentarily on Kiyomi. He hadn't been the same since - - Now was not the time to be thinking of the past. Hayate returned his gaze to the path ahead and focused on moving forwards.

Kensuke Nimatsu
Team 7

Nodding as he saw his genin prepare, he jumped backwards in front of the beautiful and old tree. In fact, it was a shame to cut down such a nice and old tree, who had somehow survived all this time in the middle of the violence around it. Nevertheless, that was part of the plan he had in mind. Casually standing in front of the tree he awaited any attack from the genin. He almost yawned, but wasn't tired enough for that. Strange, he thought as he yawned, a sign of the Gods to prove him wrong, how even thinking of yawning could make one do so.

A messenger for Ryo Tetsu, the Dragon of the Storm.

A mission for the Storm Guard.

The messenger was looking around for where the jounin could be. The messenger self was a low chuunin ranked shinobi. Somebody that was specialised in delivering messages. His target was now Ryo Tetsu. A Jounin with a good record and a member of the Storm Guard. Deciding to look if the said person was inside the headquarters of the Storm Guard. It was just next to the entrance of the Raikage Office. Heading towards the location, the messenger kept his eyes and ears open to see if he could spot Ryo.

Mamoru Senju

Konohagakure Genin, Team 8

Mamoru listened to the instructions with great care, taking in all the necessary details. Moving out from the shop, they picked up their pace in a relatively short amount of time. The boy could not help but feel excited to go on a real mission. He had very few options to do so before the siege and now, he will have missions on a regular basis. The prospect of doing them made him more and more determined to perform great in them. With his mind returning to the present, he learned that they will be covering a large area where a large number of civilians resides. Nodding to himself, he then turned to give Koike a quick look.

" Understood, Aiko-sama. But to cover so large areas, we will need to be constantly on the watch, often moving at rapid paces. If I might suggest, a rest before arriving there would help us in more ways than one. Staying calm and polite to those who deserve it is the basis of my believes, Aiko-sama. My name is saying the same. We will protect them." Nodding, he touched the Senju emblem on the neck piece of his armor. He remembered how he swore to protect the ones he cared about at the Hon Estate. Now, he was going to protect again.

Masami Hyuuga

Konohagakure Genin, Team9

Masami took a step back just as Mia asked her to do so, watching from a safe distance. Shikaroku was holding the turtle in place so far and with Mia´s attack hopefully landing, she will have the opportunity to knock the turtle out with a Bottom Palm. Just as Mia sprung into motion, she noticed large spikes erupting from the top of the shell of the turtle. Mia was most likely too preoccupied with the attack to notice it, so she tapped on her communicator right away." Mia, watch out! It´s protected from the top, attack the sides instead!" With the turtle most likely confused from several attacks at once, Masami started to approach it from the forward as well. It was dangerous, but thanks to her eyes, she was confident she could stay out of harms way.

But something was not right here. Something in the performance of the team was off. She though that with Mia, an experienced Chuunin, they will do better. They had to change their approach several times as the turtle changed it´s approach. She had to ask Hiron-sensei after this mission. In the meantime, a plan B formed in her head. If her team fails to get the turtle´s head in, it can stay in. But in that case, Masami will leap to the hole in the shell that housed the head and use her Vacuum Palm ability right on top of that hole.
