Appearance:
Under his armor Xavier for all intents and purposes appears to be a mere man with a medium body build, stands 6'3 in height, has a closely shaven hair cut and beard, a stern face, and grey eyes. What is odd about his appearance is the coloring of his hair and skin, both being frighteningly white.

Armor:
Xavier wears light weight black combat armor that still allows him fast and fluid movements. Though it is stronger than the run of the mill armor one would find in the waste do to Xavier's need for easy movement the padding of the armor is thinner than normal, meaning that it can be punctured much easier with well placed shots than it's more common brothers. He wears a insulated long coat over his armor. He also wears a mask made of the same martial as his combat armor that servers as inferred goggles.

Clothing:
Xavier almost always wears his armor, almost only taking it off for repairs. Though he does have a white muscle shirt, that by what seems to be a miracle to others stays clean, a set of black combat boots, and a pair of arctic military fatigues bottoms he wears when he must remove his armor.

Weapons:
Xavier has two laser pistols that he duel wields and have been modified to be smaller than usual and fire at a slightly faster rate. The down side to the modifications is that they do not pack as strong of a punch as a normal laser pistol would.

When Xavier needs to fight in close quarters or when he is out of energy cells for his pistols he uses the unique energy blade that was made for him. The AE-86 Seiryuu Beam Katana has the same lethal power of the standard laser rifle but concentrated into the form of a blade.

Miscellaneous items:
Besides the stock of energy cells that he keeps on his person at all time Xavier carries a holotape so he can record his day to day activities. He also keeps a old rubiks cube that some how made it through the war intact.

Forces of habit:
Xavier is known to sit for long periods of time in complete silence with a expression of utter blankness, though if anyone knew what was going on in his head they would know he was in deep thought with not just himself. He also seems to have a obsession with numbers, be it counting screws or doing random math problems in his head.

Biography:
The stories of the men and women emerging out of the ground wielding weapons that shot out lights that turned people into dust, dawning shining armor that seemed to reflect bullets as if they were mere pebbles, and commanding their metal warriors in battle to slaughter through their enemies were told for years after the massive bunker unsealed it's self and revealed it's occupants to the war scarred land that laid in wait for them. Yes the vault 91 dwellers coming out of their shelter with their energy weapons, power armor and security bots were the cause of these tales of what seemed to be other worldly beings, some of the less civilized tribes that dotted the area around the vault even took to calling them the people of light.

Like many other vaults, 91 was to partake in a social experiment set up by the pre-war government. Where other vaults were given limited resources or had purposely faulty equipment, 91 was given the exact opposite. They had top of the line technology in their hands the moment the door sealed them in, they also had some of the best education systems set up for the vaults future generations. The goal of the experiment was to see how well people would react to having a easy life seemingly handed to them then to see how they adjust after being released back into the world, the expected result was rumored to be that these people would fail when they try to reenter society.

But despite whatever the planned outcome was for vault 91 the actual result was a near utopia for the bunker's residents. The dwellers had set up a chain of command that spread the power out evenly among the people. With there being no real struggle for power the dwellers were able to focuses on improving their lives even further. Within a few decades the vault had started training it's next generation to be some of the sharpest minds possible, be it in the fields of medicine, engineering, or weaponry. But this was only the beginning for the vault's journey, as soon the dwellers would start to look for way to improve themselves beyond their normal means.

They started looking into fields that could enhance their physical capabilities. They started off with testing the effects of cryogenics on organic matter, using rats and slowly moving up to humans, to see if it could prolong one's lifespan. They then moved on to minor implants that could enhance one's physical abilities, though the first few batches either ended with no improvements or painful rejections. But eventually the vault dwellers did master the science of the implants. And so went the vault's planes, slowly trying to improve themselves further and further until they reached the realization that the perfection they craved already existed in the form of the robots that served them.

They saw the robot's physical prowess and effectiveness in their work as the goal they had long since strived for, but the only short coming that they thought the bots had was the rigid programing that they had and how they would not have any true creative thought. So they came to the only logical conclusion, to make something that would combine both beings into one perfect specimen. So started one of the darkest parts of the vault's history.

In the pursuit of their goal many of the vault's residents volunteered to have parts of their bodies, or in some cases the whole thing, replaced with a cybernetic duplicate. To spar the more graphic details, most if not all of the volunteers did not make it through the procedure leading in a steady drop in the vault's population. So another step had to be taken to ensure the vault's successes, mandatory breeding. Some children were born for the purpose of keeping the population up while others for the sole use for the experiments, these children were dubbed the Subjects elude of real names.

The Subjects were seen as little more than lab rats to be used to archive the goal of the other vault dwellers. They were tested on from the very beginning of their lives and only taught the very basics, such as how to speak, read and perform math problems, the caution about the Subjects learning was to make sure to prevent a up rising. Dozens upon dozens of Subjects were lost in the project, some dying from the surgeries or others not being able to be compatible with the cybernetics leading to them being scrapped, but all the death and failures was the path that lead to the first success of the program.

The Subject XLR8, one of the Subjects that was projected to die the moment he was born, was the one that beat the odds. Not only did he survive the initial harsh treatments but he also was the first to have his whole left arm successfully replaced with a cybernetic one at the age of fifth teen, but this was only the beginning of his transformations. As the years went on more and more of his body would be replaced by cybernetic enhancements taking more and more of his humanity. By the time he was nineteen they had replaced ninety-three percent of his body with cybernetics, making sure to leave his human mind intact.

Though XLR8's body was cutting edge technology his mind was still that of a man's, a completely average one at that. So in an attempt to improve his mental power the scientists introduced a AI into his cybernetic system. The AI, who was referred to as Lyra, didn't overshadow his body but rather severed as a type of guide, it giving him advice or making him aware of anything he missed.

Despite his body modifications XLR8 did not begin to make a name for himself until he was twenty-two. That was when the vault began sending people out on various missions, be it recon, scavenging, or trading. They soon found that the Wastes were a dangerous place despite their weapons and armor so they decided to give their greatest success a test, see how well he handled out in the open.

That was the start of a countless number of missions that XLR8, who was given the name Xavier by Lyra to help him blend in the Wastes, went on for the vault. He performed recon, guarded the trading caravans that left the vault, he even took out possible threats to the vault like supermutant squads or raider camps. This went on for years, it being the time he received his gear, until the vault was taken into the Enclave.

The years since Xavier has been serving as a foot solider for Enclave until recently when he was approached with a offer.

Extra:
Xavier is quite in the dark when it comes to human interaction, being treated like a object his whole life, so he doesn't quite get concepts like relationships, remorse, guilt, politeness, etc.

Oh christ. Wait until Grav, DT, and Pyro see this. If the hype for the commonwealth wasn't high enough, you just put it over the edge XD.

I see nothing wrong with your CS short of several grammar issues in the bio and the Katana...but, since I enjoyed using that same mod in NV, I'm undecided. I'll leave it up to the other players to give the thumbs up or thumbs down. Either way, MegasXLR has my thumbs up. Once the rest of the community gives their opinions, I'll give the final decision. Just in case, maybe start drafting a first post as we're early enough in the mission that MegasXLR could have made it to the mission to join the rest of the squad while they were waiting for nightfall at the enclave base in Idaho.

Seriously though, great CS. Really riveting, but now I'll be stabbed to death if I don't do SOMETHING with the commonwealth.
