I'm not sure if this would be allowed in the normal roleplaying area because we're all just controlling one character. Here's how it works.
1. A creepypasta is a scary/creepy story, so try to be as scary/creepy as possible. Just throwing buckets of blood at us is not scary, so try to get as creative as possible. Keep using I to refer to the author
2. The IC and the OOC will both be in this same area. To know it's IC you will post a number at the start of your post which goes in chronological order, so if it's the first post in the story it will be labeled #1, the next post will be #2, etc. If #2 posts and more then one person posts a #3 for whatever reason, the #4 poster has a choice to go off of any of the #3 posts, but please quote the one you go off of to avoid confusion. This is handy if someone troll posts a #3, #4 can go off of the better #3 post. If we mess up bad along the way we can go backwards to a post we didn't use that may work out better, but only if there's a group consensus. We might not need too much OOC posts because if we talk too much about it we might spoil all the tension.
3. If you are posting off of someone's post, don't just totally disregard everything they did. For example, if they have them creeping over to the door with the clear and determined intention of opening it, don't go "lol nope" a moment later without something happening that would change his mind.
4. You can't double post an IC, but you can post again after one other person posts.
5. Your posts can be anything from a single word to an amount of no stern limit, but don't finish off the entire thing yourself with some massive novel. Maybe a couple of paragraphs max. My first post will probably be my longest to get the setting out of the way.
6. Here's a good music playlist to help us set the mood
If there's a tone shift then you can post a song from that playlist that seems fitting (or one really good song from somewhere else). Once there's another tone shift, that person can post another song, but until that moment they don't need to post another song.
7. I honestly don't know what to think until I see it in action, but if we do end up making an awesome creepypasta we can submit it and everyone who contributed will get their name mentioned (unless they wish to remain anonymous). We can always touch it up once it's all in one piece to make it even better. For example, some details that are just there to make it easier for others to go off of can be omitted if no longer needed.
So without further adieu, I'll start things off.

I've been sitting at my desk for a while now, listening to the raindrops hitting my window. The lamp situated near my right hand and the clock on the nightstand to the left of my bed were the only things that illuminated the darkness of my room. The clock, in light green lettering, said "12:30". I knew I should probably be getting to bed pretty soon, but I had to finish studying this last chapter for the important test tomorrow. Like usual, I had procrastinated for far too long so could not put this off for any longer, not if I didn't want to have to take this class over with from the beginning should I fail.
It was then that I heard a scratching sound at the bottom of my closed door that lead out into the hallway. That was...just a tad bit odd. Although my pet cat, Sneakers, had a habit of doing this in the past when she couldn't sleep and wanted attention, I had thought that the problem was solved after locking her in her room just before I, myself, locked myself in my own room for either bed or some last minute studying such as this. She must have somehow found her way out. I'd have to look into this tomorrow, but certainly not today. This was only a minor annoyance, and I'd prefer to ignore her for as long as I could so that I could at least finish reading this page. She usually knew to give up after a while and should go back to her room on her own. I hoped.
