Im just trying to think of how to make you cross paths, but all I can think of is you all are in the same place at the same time somehow (like maybe you all cross paths while going somewhere by coincidence) and you all see <The Gamer> floating above the names floating above your heads (like what the MC's name reads in the Manwha)

Then NPC interaction happens and you may all make plans to figure out more about this ability.

That's one thing I can think of.

Well I do plan on their being something like that. Alright, I think I know what I need to do.

I feel like it would begin, when we all sign up for this great new MMO, that's supposed to be really life-like, and, being regular users, we don't really read the Terms of Service and all, and it turns out we have the game downloaded into our life. And because it's so underground, we're the only ones who download it before the govt. shuts it down.
So, it could be all like:
Tuesday evening:
Timothy, signs up and begins download for a brand new MMORPG, that's supposed to be very true to life, before anyone else (what did you expect, he's gotta keep up on all his MMORPGs). He begins to fantasize about how cool it is, and he begins making up a world about the RPG. Sometime in his fantasy, it finishes, so he begins installation. All the daydreaming (somehow) got him tired, but he's still hyped. Right before bed, though, he gets a call (it finished installing by then, so it begins) and it's his boss calling him, that he has to come to a new location in some other city to setup all the computers while they hire another IT guy. He gets the thing in quest notifications, and thinks he's getting delirious, and goes to bed. Long story short, leaves Wednesday morning he leaves, comes back Friday noon w/ however many XP earned and by then everyone has it (but not necessarily learned their in the game).

We don't necessarily have to realize that it came from there, because it got "deleted" from our computers.

Ugh, I hate it when you take 20 minutes to write a piece, and the others already moved on :/

Yea, no. I just plan it being you wake up and you just suddenly realize that SOMETHING isn't right. You just sort of have the ability, its unclear how you got it cause you just woke up and have it, but you have it. No dream sequences, no mages giving you the power. You just have it.

How soon will it be up? I just have the urge to RP really soon!

IC will be up tomorrow. I am pretty tired today. But i am going to ask you all a question.

So here is how the IC will start. It will have started 2 days after you realize something is up (like you see people's names and levels above their heads after waking up one day, most people having levels ranging from 1 to 3 as some people are stronger than others).

You all need to tell me (as your characters, what would they do) either in a PM or in the OOC what your characters will be doing during those two days. Mainly just will you be going about your ordinary lives just ignoring it or denying it or will you be trying to figure things out about it.

Depending upon your answer will tell show how the IC will start for each of you.

Spooky Hat shall be confused at the change, but will continue to live an average life while investigating the windows and such.
(My goal is for his horror movie watching will get him the skill Fear, which can be used to freak people out in combat and such, or if I stealth behind them, although the GM can decide on that one.)

So simplistic investigation for Spooky. Alright.

Ryutaro will probably give everything a quick look over, maybe try a few things associated with certain talents, ie, playing with a butterfly knife for Sleight of Hand/Device Manipulation, look out his window at the streets below for Observe, just small things like that.

Then he'll probably go about his day to day routine which will vary depending on the time of year until something big happens.

Sasha will become very excited about the change and actively test her newfound powers. She'll try to gain new skills or exp by doing quests and other activities.

For those who live their ordinary lives I will simply be making Chance Rolls (Luck Rolls) to see if anything special happens to them.

For those that investigate they get INT rolls to see if they figured out just how or what is going on with them, the higher the roll the more they find out about this strange phenomenon. Depending upon how much they investigate they have higher chances of finding out, but they get less time for living out their days and thus less chances for anything special happening (like accidentally obtaining Skills, somehow obtaining and completing Quests, and etcetera).

Can I still change my talents? I might change my decisions based on how the first post plays out. I'm not sure how Sasha will want to put her points in.

Well then, I guess I balanced out mine quite well, without even trying.

Once the RP starts and you make your first post your talents are there. The Talent points you have at Character Creation are the things you were already good at before you got this power.

You can change them now if you'd like since the RP hasn't started yet, but once the RP starts no more changes.

Oh, is that how it is? If it's in the OP then I'm sorry if I missed it. That means that her talent distribution does actually sorta match her current skills, aside from those points in acrobatics.

EDIT: I'm going to be going for a short roadtrip next Monday till Wednesday. Not sure whether there will be internet connection available, but in total I should only be gone for 48 hours max. Sorry if I end up delaying anything.
