Took 8 tries for me to finally win. The strategy is to not even worry about the small numbers and just focus on managing all the big numbers you have. 2s, 4s, and 8s will take care of themselves but having too many larger numbers in play will be what loses you the game. Also you don't even have to think about the game until you start working with 256 or so, just pressing keys at random will likely get you there alive.
