Appearance:
Despite his actual appearance’s small form, he’s actually quite old.

Personality: Is actually chilled, laid back…but sees humans as nothing more than insects, and he’s that kid with the magnifying glass in his hand. That being said, he’s quite persistent in stomping out these gross humans, even if he has to possess a few to do so. Dolls and fellow puppeteers, he doesn’t mind…he’d still stick ‘em in the eye if he meets one, siege or territorial battles aside. He doesn’t like it much when other’s point out his actual appearances small/young appearance, though only a few other puppeteers know of it, since he entered into the human world.
Abilities: Skilled with using a range of weapons, and changing fighting styles based on the marionette he is in possession of. He has the ability to transform anything he picks up with his left-hand (from a newspaper, to a piece of toast) into a strong weapon (spear, to sword), though they transform back into their original form once they leave his hand.
Marionettes:



Physical Changes to Marionette while Possessed: A crack-like mark on the right arm…though that could easily be covered up.
Misc: The only living creatures from the human world he actually happens to like are plants and trees, especially the blindingly colourful flowers...they'll be last to go.

@Kittenlover: Hmm... I still want what you mean about her telekinesis to be a bit more clear.

Honestly, I think the natural disasters thing(also, what kind can she cause?) on its own is enough and she doesn't really need telekinesis too, but, um... honestly, the more I think about it, the more I think regenerating and natural disasters are plenty, if you go more in-depth about the latter.

I'm just worried about a character having too many powers, really.

@Major Ursa: Hmm. The issue I'm currently seeing is just that I don't like him being able to transform living things, and that France doesn't exist in this setting(there's probably an equivalent though). But honestly that's it.

@FoxFire: It's still open, yes.

Well, her powers can create any natural disaster; ((Tsunami, earthquake, make a volcano appear, a giant ash cloud, a blizzard, etc.)) but it takes a lot out of her, so after she uses her power she's basically out of commission and someone will probably need to get her out of there! Same thing goes for her healing powers. And as for the telekinesis, she can only move things with her mind ((and it has to be under 300 pounds!))

So honestly her powers are strong, but there is always a cost to them so it doesn't become too OP. You get what I'm saying now? :)

Also, when she's out of commission, she's walking on the edge of life and death.

@Kittenlover: Hmm... I'd suggest making it limited to her surroundings, as far as the disaster power goes. As in, she could do earthquakes and mini-tornados anywhere but others require at least the material involved.

The main reason I'm worried about telekinesis is if she can lift and manipulate people.

Here's an amended version of my Doll - the core concept is basically the same, but I've adjusted the personality and the way that her ability is expressed.

Name: Carmel
Gender: Female
Appearance: “So little can truly be left in the hands of others." (without the headpiece)

Personality: A perfectionist to the core, Carmel considers it her obligation to assume responsibility for those she deems unable to care for themselves (encompassing a large proportion of the general population). She holds those with power to the same exacting standards to which she holds herself, bluntly expresses her judgement of other Dolls’ decision-making and often berates herself over self-perceived flaws in her conduct. Carmel conducts herself much like a swan around those she ‘adopts’, cosseting them in a highly maternal fashion and lashing out ferociously should any offence or injury befall them. Although usually suppressed, her underlying martyr complex that surfaces during high-pressure circumstances, driving her to ‘shoulder the burden’ and discard concerns for her personal well-being while fighting to protect her companions.

Abilities: While Carmel possesses much of the strength and durability of other Dolls (and often a far greater tolerance for the suffering that she endures), she possesses relatively little training or finesse in hand-to-hand confrontations - the majority of her combat effectiveness comes from her ability as a Sculptress. Her power extends outwards from any points of physical contact (typically her hands and feet), impregnating any sufficiently dense surfaces within a roughly 20-25 foot radius. As long as she remains rooted to that surface (whether standing firmly on the ground or resting her palm on a wall), she can use her power to manipulate the shape of the surface, ranging from intricate changes such as sealing keyholes to larger, cruder transformation (such as producing sinkholes to contain an opponent or sprouting columns from the floor to bludgeon allies and shelter opponents). The more material she attempts to move at once, the slower and cruder her transformations become - while she can cause reasonable amounts of blunt-force trauma, her power is most useful when attempting to contain or restrict the movements of her opponents (reshaping the battlefield to suit her needs). Her transformations become faster and more fluid as she remains in contact with a surface for an extended length of time and 'saturates' it using her power, with her connection gradually waning over roughly 5-10 minutes until her creations sink back into their original state - to her great frustration, Carmel cannot produce any permanent works of art without remaining in constant physical contact with the surface.

Weapons: Carmel typically carries a naval cutlass that she acquired after bonding with her Doll Master - although blunt and somewhat poorly balanced, her power her to reshape it into a range of more desirable forms (typically a rapier, whip-sword or a heftier sabre). Although her sword's transformations are usually exceptionally fluid due to her prolonged contact with the weapon, this familiarity is lost if she is separated from her sword for greater than 5-10 minutes.

First, there's no need to swear at me because i'm just giving advice, and second I have seen it happen, and the mods do care because when an interest check goes too long it bumps new ones down on the list.

If you haven't looked at my CS lately, I did put down that her natural disaster powers were in a local area! As in the area she is in!

And no, she can't move living things, just inanimate objects! ((Chairs, tables, carriages, strollers, etc.))

@Ardent Dawn: My only remaining problem is that Dolls look human enough to walk around in human society unnoticed as long as they don't do anything that marks them as a Doll(Doll Hunters have their way to see through this but yeah).

It's one of the big differences between them and humanoid Puppeteers appearance-wise. Since Puppeteers, even at their most human, always look just a bit off somehow.

@kittenlover: Alright, um... include the explanation of telekinesis in her bio, and... still not sure about the teleportion though most of the other things check out(though Dolls are expected to be pretty fast to start with).

Quick question - would it be possible to write a new Marionette after the RP is already under-way? I'd rather get used to playing with two characters first before diving straight into three, but playing as a Marionette looks like too much fun to pass up on.

Keep in mind that some of the powers you listed(healing themselves, for example) are standard for Dolls. Some are just lesser or greater and yeah.
