rose stayed calm as she attempted to keep her rage bottled inside resulting in her hands bleeding from her nails digging into her skin as she watched a new enemy come into play saving lucus from dying "why now of all times must the past haunt me....first amaya is finally found and brought back then HE showed up giving us a sign.that was hidden in my daughter. then that monster I once called a husband and my daughters called father showed up when he should had stayed dead..WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON! "she yelled in frustration

amaya was sitting with elyse and tinker bell on the porch of the old mansion that the nobody nanime was held by the organization of nobodies known as organization 13. amaya looked at the sky where all the energy was "please everyone be safe...."she whispered holding her sister in her lap.

amaya was confused of why her father was there. he didn't change one bit from how she remember beside his dark intentions. she remembered how sweet he was but the man she saw wasn't the man she once knew and cared for. "why did he change and appear when Joshua and mama told me he was dead lost to his own darkness"she asked herswlfconfused and kinda hurt but she hide the hurt well. she sighed waiting to know when it was safe to return herself and elyse to the group

War laughed at everyone's responses, finding them rather funny. So he decided to answer them one at a time, starting with Serin.
"Peace Red Mage." He said in a calm tone." My organization will make themselves known in time. As for why Chaos, or Lucus as you still refer to him as, works for us... let's just say he has his uses when he isn't being a pain in the ass."

Turning to Ascot he gave a simple shrug
"Who's to say? That could be many people so I see no point in saying yes or no." He said.

Turning to Jake he laughed slightly louder.
"Your blood is still running hot it seems, my fellow warrior. Learn to temper those flames and your judgement. Just because we fight on the same side does not mean we fight for the same reasons."

Eximna was next
"I will leave soon but before I forget..." War said as he pulled out a large bag that floated to Eximna gently."... 100,000 munny to help with repairs. As for this world it is safe, for now."

Finally he turned to Rose
"Relax Roseletta van Isis. Your family is safe, at least until next we meet. Also that was not your husband but his Nobody. He became a heartless but had a strong enough will to keep going. We will make he does not bother you again for now.

Now if you all excuse me I have a meeting to attend. A good day to you all."

With that a CoD opened around him before quickly closing, taking the man with it.

Once it seemed nothing else would happen Joshua walked over to Rose
"Hey Ro... Mom. Calm down it'll be okay. Lucus won't hurt you or Elyse again. I failed you once but I won't fail you again." He said gently" Now take a deep breathe and calm down. You can't let Elyse see you like this, she'll get scared. Don't become the Black Rose again not now. I'll go find them while you relax."

With that he left the scene

Satoko meanwhile went over to Amelia
"Hey there Amelia. How're you felling?" She asked in a surprisingly gentle tone that would probably surprise Ascot and Belle.

"Tired... throat hurt." The younger girl replied

"Well you take a nice nap then. When you wake up you might be in a better home with a nice family." Satoko said as she picked Amelia up.

"Wha... what about you, Rika, Xayama, and Soujy?" Amelia said, Xahsouj flinching at his nickname.

"We'll stay here but we'll visit when we can." Satoko said" Now get some sleep."

"Okay." Amelia said, closing her eyes and going out like a light.

Once she was sure Amelia was out Satoko walked over to Rose but kept a slight distance from the older women.

Serin sighed once war vanished, the magic on and in his blade also vanishing, returning to him and replenishing his own mana as his body glowed with a light blue glow for a moment when it did. "Well, glad that's over". He sheathed his blade and adjusted his hat. Then he looked to Rose for a few moments, walking over to her. "Don't worry. We were able to beat that bastard back this time and we will do so again the next time. Lucus will never lay a hand on you or Elyse again, I promise that ill make sure that he never does". Serin was around when it all happened. It was truly horrible and he wasn't going to let his friend and fellow mage go through that ever again. "For now lets be thankful that everyone is safe and sound". With that he just gave Rose a reassuring pat on the shoulder before walking over to Belle, who he assumed was the only 'leader' in the group of Keybladers that was actually still present. Not that he doubted Ascot, but Belle was the oldest after all.

"You alright?" After hearing her answer, Serin offering a Curaja if she needed it, Serin sighed a small bit. "You kids should probably go ahead and get going for the next sign after a short rest. Unfortunately the appearance of these new enemies has somewhat taken away more of our time. Ill make sure things wind up ok here and if Reno comes back here from the Mirror Realm ill send him your way. Otherwise I am sure he will be able to find you".

rose listened to the man "you think I am worried about him attacking elyse...he will never be able to do that ever again as long as I am still breathing and of course all the nobodies seem to appear here. However, listen here war, the next time he ever shows his face, not ever you or the others will be able to save him when I am finished with him."she said as the man left.

she closed her eyes taking in deep breaths using happy memories of her family and the extended family in radiant gardens. she listened to Joshua and serin "I am fine, and she won't be coming out anytime soon, I swore to myself I wont lose control cause I saw what I did when I wasn't in control like I was being controlled by someone else."she said as she was surprised by Joshua's comment "first time I heard you call me that...go find the girls please."she commented wrapping her hands

"werid...any who, they are at the old mansion Joshua and tinker bell is with them"shouted Xayama as Joshua left

Hear Xayama, Joshua opened a CoD to the old mansion and was there in seconds. He naturally spotted Amaya and Elyse instantly and knew both girls were upset. Smiling gently he walked over and sat next to them.
"So what's got you two so upset.?" He asked

"Daddy." Elyse said in a low, scared tone.

"Daddy's gone Elyse. Mommy, Josh, and our friends drove him away." Joshua said gently" What about you Amaya? What's on your mind?"

Back in the sandlot Satoko approached Rose, seeing that the older woman had calmed down.
"I heard that you might be taking Amelia into your family." She said while she adjusted the sleeping Nobody in her arms." Is that true?"

"I just can't believe so much happened when I was in that.coma...I knew father was a caring Guy but now he changed ...he never harmed me or anything always was there when I wasn't all their...it is just hard seeing him like this "she commented

"yes, I have plans if she wished it...ascot asked me cause you see in radiant gardens I take in orphans. I took in Joshua after he lost his family when he got amaya to mentally awake and I had just adopted ascot since he never had a. true family ...plus elyse would love someone her age since her other siblings are on this mission "said rose "I and the defence commity are family and she will be loved and charish

Jake blinks as the man teleports away.

"Wait, so his buddy, that girl's father, shows up and tries to kill her, trying to tear through us for stopping him, and then he says 'we're fighting on the same side'?

"Did... did I miss something here?"

Jake shrugs.

"Ah well. Best not to dwell on it right now." He turned to check on the group.

"So, Ascot," he asked the kid. "And you're Joshua, right? Why was he... well, you know what he was trying to do. But really, why?! Doesn't make a damn lick of sense..."

From his trek to the old mansion Thomas returned, unsure as to his destination but walking along regardless. His mind was troubled by the thoughts that still tormented it, and he was almost glad as he saw the flashes of magic light up the sky, though he should have been exasperated. It seemed like wherever they went, nobody was capable of staying out of trouble for more than half a day. He picked up the pace then, heading towards the origin point which seemed to be the sandlot. That indicated something was up, since if he wasn't missing his guess, magic hadn't been allowed in that tournament which meant something was happening.

As he ran he summoned his Keyblade, focusing his mind as he banished the unwanted, depressive thoughts. With a fight going on, he couldn't afford to be distracted, and there would be time for moping later. And he was running towards the group; he didn't need them to know about the problems he had right now. His voice had quieted, as if it somehow knew what was going on here or had some premonition of what the fight was about that he didn't know.

He managed to arrive as the dust settled, arm panging from the multiple corridors that opened in the area, and he dismissed his keyblade to walk nonchalantly into the Sandlot, arms folded with the metal covered one on top. "Well, looks like I missed something big," he commented as he approached the dispersing crowd. "I take it no one won the tournament then."

"Yeah he change after you vanished. I was blind to everything at the time so I missed it until it was too late." Joshua said" When I finally realized it I tried to fight him but I would've lost if he hadn't turned into a heartless."

"Yeah you missed the best family reunion ever." Xahsouj said to Thomas, his voice dripping with sarcasm

" Well here she is then. We'll visit on occasion to make sure she's doing well." Satoko said as she handed Amelia over to Rose.

Jake winced.

"She okay? The little girl, that is. How long has it been this way?"

Jake muttered under his breath something to the effect of 'just ain't right'. How does a father try and kill his own daughter, Nobody or not?

He then noticed Thomas' entry.

"Hey Tom," he said. "Yeah, it's been... kind of wrecked. Some jerk formerly known as Lucus, I think he's called Chaos now. We almost had him, but a buddy of his called 'War' bailed him out.

"So yeah, good thing you didn't buy tickets. Or maybe they were worth it, if you enjoy crowd-endangering pyrokinetics. Raised a real storm, that it did.

"So what were you up to?" Jake raised his hands defensively. "Sorry, just trying to make small talk."

"come over any time o got alot of room"said rose accepting Amelia in her arms "I have plenty of rooms so by all means you all can stay as long as you want"rose commented looking towards Thomas "my husband's nobody came here and attacked and we found amaya had a sign hidden inside her"commented rose summarizing everything

"it is hard seeing him like that when I.knew him diffetently"said amaya gently

Jake looked at Rose for a bit.

"So he was trying to kill his daughter... over a power rune or something?" he asked Rose. "Yeah, that jackass needs a good-

"Erm, my condolences, ma'am. Is your daughter alright? I think it would be best if you take her home so she can rest. If you need any help, ask for Jake. The name's John Grendell, but my friends call me Jake."

Belle got approached by Serin, who asked if she was alright and needed a cure. "Its nothing bad, nothing that magic can't cure." she said with a smile as the Curaja spell healed her wounds. She continued listening to Serin who said it was best to move on to the next world, and that Reno will find them when they arrive. "Oh I'm sure Reno will find us, and otherwise Oner will." she said. "However I just noticed, I haven't seen Thomas all day, and I'm not going to leave without him, he is our leader after all." she said.

Luckily Thomas entered the Sandlot on that moment. Everyone else already explained to him what happened, kinda. "Hey Thomas." she turned towards Serin. "Excuse me, I'm going to have a talk with him." she said and ran towards Thomas. "So you've probably heard it all by now, of what happened here. But we do need to move on to the next world, to collect the next sign." Belle said.

Eximna helped Exomin get up. "Did that guy just gave you munny to repair all this shit?" Exomin asked.

"Yes, he did. And watch your language." she said and dragged Exomin along to the group of Keyblade warriors and their friends. "Thank you all for keeping this world safe. Me and Exomin alone couldn't have handled this all by ourselves." she said. "For your efforts I want to hand this over to you." she gave a red feather towards the person who would first take the gift into hands. "This is a Phoenix Down. It works by being offered to appeal to the mystical Phoenix itself to allow a lost soul to return." she explained.

"So it basically brings someone back from the death!" Exomin added.

"However, one must act fast or else the soul will be too far away to be retrieved. So use it immediately if something terrible as that would happen." she said. "Excuse us. We are going to make a report to Hayner."

"Bye guys! Success on your journey!" Exomin said before getting dragged away by his sister.

"Okay, you over there. I'm going to explain this messed up family history to you based off my Other's memories." Xahsouj said to Jake" The older woman there is Roseletta van Isis, who prefers to go by Rose. She is a resident of the world known ad Radiant Garden and is a member of it's Defense Comitee. She is also the mother of, at last count, five children, three of whom are adopted last I checked.

The adopted ones are my Other, who left through a Corridor of Darkness to get Rose's blood-daughters. Ascot who is over there and I hear was adopted sometime yesterday. And the final adopted daughter, as of about two minutes ago, is Amelia, the young Nobody girl in her arms.

Now here's where the history comes in and might get too complicated for your tiny brain. Rose was married to the guy who just attacked us. Together they had two daughters. The oldest is Amaya, one of the princesses of heart.

Several years ago Amaya vanished because she was kidnapped. During this time Rose gave birth to her second daughter, Elyse. Sometime around a year after Elyse was born something changed in Lucus, Amaya and Elyse's father and Rose's husband, changed and began abusing Rose. He threatened Elyse and used her against her mother. This went on for two years before my Other found out. My Other fought Lucus but only won because Lucus succumbed to the darkness in his heart, resulting in a heartless my Other wiped out.

This however resulted in the Nobody we just fought. Understand? Yes? Good. If not too bad I ain't explaining again."

"Rude as usual" Satoko muttered

"We all remember him differently, save for Elyse." Joshua said to Amaya, giving her a light kiss on the cheek" Its safe in town now so do you wanna go back?"

Thomas casually listened to the three separate explanations given, fortunately all of them were the same so it didn't do a very good job of confusing him. From this explanation, and the adjoining ones, he found himself glad that his family wasn't like that, though it was hard to contest with the sheer mundaneness present amongst his family. This kind of thing would never have had the opportunity to happen, since as far as he knew he was the first person in a couple generations to have something as different as magical prowess. Not that he would tell them that.

The discussion somewhat turned to that as Belle came over, He wore his usual confident grin, as hollow a shell as it might be behind that, but there was nothing which could pierce the falsehood for the moment, since only one other person here knew about, and he expected Serin to have the restraint to not mention it. He didn't didn't need that revealed, not when they needed to see that he was strong, determined. The magic he had learned was interesting, but it still seemed to him that his leadership ability was what distinguished him, and if he was replaced then there was no point in him being here, except as another sword to kill Heartless. Which was why he wouldn't lose this.

"Well, at least we have another Sign now, so something good came of this, but yeah, we really should be moving on. Best to get this done as quick as possible, when we don't exactly have access to a time table for when the Senses will finish making that new world of theirs." It was pure self motivation then as he walked forward to claim the Phoenix Down from Eximna. "Thanks. We'll put it to good use." He waved goodbye as the brother and sister left, glad for the magic that hid the dark splotches on his armor. No need to worry the others over stuff like that.

Serin could sense that his confident grin was just a mask, but only because he knew why it was masking anything and what it was masking. He kept quiet about it though, knowing that this was something that needed to remain a secret and Serin wasn't a jerk to go spilling the beans. Instead he walked over to Belle and Thomas, holding a few books tucked beneath his arm. "I meant to give these to you earlier, but it slipped my mind". He presented them both to Thomas, three tomes of magic most likely jud. "Everything you need to know about Stone, Aero, and Water magic is in them. I recommend studying up on them when you get the chance".

If Thomas accepted them then Serin would hand them to him, otherwise if he chose to not accept them he would put them back in his 'Pouch of Holding' that was on his belt. "Anyway, good luck on your journey. Be careful and I apologize in advance if Reno happens to be too much trouble for you all". Serin chuckled a little after saying this, even the Red Wizard knowing that Reno had no restraint about anything and would easily go anywhere or do anything that his whims told him to do, which was an exaggeration of course but not entirely untruthful.

With that Serin gave a small smile and a tip of his hat before walking off in the same direction that Exomin and Eximna went in, figuring he would have a talk with Hayner as well and see how he could help since he planned on staying here for a little bit unless the Defense Committee needed him back in Radiant Garden. Not that he couldn't go to both worlds quickly, but for now he was going to help here however he could.

Jake raised an eyebrow at Other-Joshua's... disposition.

"Sheesh, kid, who pissed in your cereal?"

Then again, given that the kid was clearly a Nobody himself, it was obvious he'd be a sourpuss.

Still, he got the story, so no need to ask again. Still, this promised to be an interesting ride, so he had better get ready to go. Besides, it seemed that the tournament was a loss; too much damage had been done to the arena to fix it back up in time. He guessed they were lucky they weren't banned from the area for life.

First things first, though. He turned to Satoko.

"So," he spoke up, "you're Satoko, right? Sorry about the mess. Tournament getting cut short and all. I was going to be your opponent in the first round, but it looks like we're going to have to take a rain check on that one. Maybe we can spar some other time?"

"she will be safe"said rose to herself holding Amelia in her arms.

amaya blushed lightly from the kiss"yes lets go before elyse decides to suddenly make an balling spell start"amaya commented standing up holiday.g elyse with one hand as she held Joshua's with the other as Tinkerbell lead the way back to Xayama

Joshua smiled as he led Elyse and Amaya back to town and to the sandlot. Once they where there he lead them over to Rose.

"So you did decide to take Amelia in" he said before spotting Elyse expression. She didn't seem to be happy to see Amelia in her mother's arms. That was HER spot, no ones else's. Seeing this caused Joshua to chuckle" I think Elyse is feeling a little jealous."

Satoko turned towards Jake
"As long as your prepared to lose then I'm game any time you are." She said

rose looked over to Joshua and her daughters "yes, she deserves a family and plus elyse and ascot has a connection with her"said rose before seeing elyses expression "don't worry mommy is just carrying her because she is sleepin
