If by priest you mean a religious-type mage or something, then yes - you may. There are tons of religions in the world of Omeria, but they all stem from a single true polytheistic religion. The only differences is how a specific culture worships them, the names for the gods, and a few minor differences in the history of the gods.

I was happy with the beginning, but I disliked how I wrote the ending, but I felt like I had writer's bloc, so...

Anyway, here's what you may not have caught:

-Valuun Keep is north of Night-Raven Inn.
-Night-Raven Inn is south of the keep, and faces northwest, right next to the Longroad.
-The Longroad is a highway that extends from the north to the south and passes through each of the six cities.
-The traveler and bar-fighter is Joric. I ain't giving away to much info, but know this:
-----The item on his back is of notability.
-----The barfight was suppose to show off his superhuman strength, speed, and reflexes.

Age/Race/Gender:20/Human/Male
Profession:Priest also a kind of mage.
Appearance:

Armor/Clothing: What he is wearing in his appearance picture and he also carries in a sack, a few other sets of clothes.
Weaponry:Nothing.
Other Items:A compass, some bread, cheese, grapes, and eggs. A few small books he carries around with him. A coin that he brings with him, to have good luck.

Skills:-Very observant and a very thorough thinker.
-Can usually make friends with animals very easily.

Abilities:He is proficient in using light based magic. A lot of this comes from his willpower to do something.
He can:-Heal moderate wounds.
-Summon and manipulate light to light up rooms or blind enemies.
-He can create a weaker barrier to shield himself or others.

Personality/Goals:Personality:Good listener, honest, trustworthy, optimistic, religiously-charged and stubborn. Goal:For everyone to have a pure soul.

History:He has grown up in a small town, inside his father's farm. Cleaning up horse's stalls and/or pig pens and lifting hay bails onto a horse drawn carriage, was the entirety of his childhood. He enjoyed it though as it helped to keep him humble and to appreciate hard work. Both of which he saw aplenty when he went with errands, with father to the town's marketplace. Years later, around the age of twelve, a church was being constructed in the town square. It took a few months and eventually became a very pretty and tall white building, complete with a bell at the top of the tall part of it. Once it was constructed, the priest of the church invited all the town's folk to take part in a service that happened once a week. Out of curiosity Dale came to this service and fell in love with the church's religion.

The religion centred around ''The One'', who was the all powerful being of the religion. It was said that an individual had to be pure of soul, to be accepted by ''The One." It was also said that people who weren't pure of soul were following a deep and dark path that would lead to hopeless misery if it wasn't changed.

After hearing this, Dale asked the priest, "Are there people who don't have pure souls?"

The priest nodded sadly to him, his black eyes looking downwards as he replied, "Yes unfortunately, but with hope and others to spread the word, that can all be changed."

Dale smiled at this and offered to help himself. The priest was taken aback by this, but accepted the offer kindly. He explained about a place called Valuun keep. Dale nodded excitedly and dashed outside the church, before the priest could finish explaining.

He then headed home, packing his bags and explaining to his parents about his mission and about where he was going. They heard the word's Valuun Keep and tried to warn him about the place, but like with the priest-he was too excited and didn't listen-rushing out the doors and away from the town, excited to start his mission and the journey that would accompany it.

I'll start writing up a post!

Awesome I won't be able to post for a day though. Because of work with an evening shift and then sleep.

Just got home, I'll write tonight.

Huh, I wasn't sure if my character was just supposed to go to sleep immediately and wait until morning or if we were supposed to have our characters chat the evening before, guess whenever I'm due to make my next post I'll have my guy come downstairs.

My character will go straight to bed right after a quick info check with the barkeeper, then off to the Keep at first light. She has no time for these other legend-tellers. :D

Yo. I'm back. At the time of this OOC post, I'm about 1/3 of the way done with my IC post.

Who needs a bank when you have some greedy innkeepers to hold onto your stuff?

Someone needs to find this out and go on an around-the-world trip to all the inns and dig up all the floorboards in search of Dasmira's loot.

I believe that's everyone's first post, so I suppose we now wait for TJ to call the next round of posting.

HA! She's an expert...no one will find her gold under the bed.

I was busy yesterday, I'll be busy today for a few hours.

I'll try to catch up sometime later.

Okay, of all of the 8 people who are accepted, they have all posted.

Now I will read up on all 8 posts, then I'll post again. After that, everyone may post again.

See we were working on a Toyota truck. The thing is, they always blow a head gasket on the driver-side for some reason, so you have to tear it down and replace the gasket. But for some reason, when putting the cam bolts back on, they always strip. You're only suppose to torque them so much, and our torque wrench is probably off anyway, but it ends up stripping some of them. This time 2 stripped (1 stripped on the last one). So we had to stop, go buy a tapping set, and we gotta make some new threads in the holes, which can be a pain in itself. After that, we'll finish up putting everything back together, which should go smoothly. But then we still got one other truck after that, a van which needs a new radiator, and a small car that needs a new head on it (or something, not sure about that one). In the middle of all this, I gotta cut grass and haul the trash off, as well as babysit. So I can be quite busy during this time of the year, until it gets cold again.

Read all 8 posts. loved them all. My favorite line comes from Diggerton:
"He could feel the hostile glares of the locals, and judging by the state of the room someone had felt those stares in a more personal way rather recently."

I was sort of smiling to myself when I read that nearly everyone just walked right over those degenerates.

@thegreenleafe: I noticed you used the term Varan, which is good for... reasons I'll explain later.

On a side-note, you guys can go to Valuun Keep whenever you want, but if you want until morning-time a certain someone will greet you before you leave.
