"Let's go." Liam said. He walked out of the Center. A kid with black hair in messy spikes was in the way. He challenged Liam to a battle, one pokemon each. He called on a Ratatta.
"Ratatta, the Mouse Pokemon. Its fangs are long and very sharp. They grow continuously, so it gnaws on hard things to whittle them down. A Forest dwelling Pokémon, Rattata. likes cheese, nuts, fruits, and berries. It also comes out into open fields to steal food from stupid travelers."

The boy look offended. He stated, rather angrily that this Rattata stole food from his bag when he sat it down, distracted by a miscolored Pidgey. it got away from him because of the Rattatta.

Liam sent out Mankey.

"Ratata, use bite!" The boy called.
"Low Kick!" Liam replied. Mankey knocked the Ratata away right after it drove its fang into his leg.
"Iron Tail!" the boy yelled.
"Scratch!" Liam replied. Mankey scratched the body of the small pokemon as it slammed its tail into his face. Rattatta was KO'd. The boy shoved past the heroes and went inside. Liam praised Mankey and recalled him.
"Ready to move on?"

Alexa said, "Phew..." She was nervous to step in some grass, but did anyways. Suddenly, a cute little Pokemon came out, plus signs on it's cheeks. "Go! Kawaii! Use Water Gun!" Kawaii spat out water at the Plusle, making it weaker. Plusle cutely tackled Kawaii. She threw a Pokeball. One, two, three, click! "Plusle, the Cheering Pokemon. It absorbs electricity from telephone poles. It shorts out its body to create crackling noises." her Pokedex told her. "You are now Purasu!" Alexa cheered.

Running around in the tall grass was a little Minun. The same thing happened to the Minun. It was caught. "Minun, the Cheering Pokemon. It cheers on friends. If its friends are losing, its body lets off more and more sparks." the Pokedex stated. "Well you are Mainasu." Alexa told the little Minun. She looked at her team. "Kawaii. Lindo. Purasu. Mainasu. I love you all!" she muttered to her team. So many Pokemon... Alexa thought.

Shiranui spotted a Shinx that was ready to pounce a Pidgey. He watched on with silent amusement while readying Fushigi's Poké Ball as the Shinx pounced and startled the Pidgey into taking off. Shiranui noticed from the blue hind feet that the Shinx was female. He let Fushigi out and Shinx soon noticed the newcomer. "Fushigi, Tackle!" Both Pokémon charged at each other and their attacks met like two footballers colliding. "Tackle once more!" Fushigi charged at Shinx again as Shinx glared with her Leer attack. "Poké Ball, go!" Shiranui threw a Poké Ball at the charging Shinx and she was drawn in. He waited until the ball stopped shaking and a ding was heard. "My first battle-involved capture," he stated mostly to himself, but Fushigi felt proud to be a part of it. "Welcome to the team, Shishi."

He smiled at her, noticing the blush. Just then, a Pikachu came out. After a tough battle with Ratatta, Chuck captured the Pikachu, naming him Volt.
