Sign language or some sort of backstory that would allow the pcs to start knowing one common language at least?(Must be a pain for the overlord to control all of his armies)
Wow, can't believe I forgot this, but you can sell a skill point to learn a language.
Also, if I may ask, what is the setting persay? I know we are all evil bastards working for an evil bastard, but will this be a created setting or a set world like eberron or or Faerûn/forgotten realms?
So what name will the language have?(should I change draconic for it or get rid of diplomacy and keep both plus another language on the skills? - if I understood the language skill correctly)
(if you don't mind my input it could be a variation of infernal or abyssal, depending the overlord alignment, using a bunch of borrowed expressions and words from the evil races original languages that makes his/her armies)
I'm fine with any choice. Though I fear a small party might mess with the encounters CR's.

Well, that's two arcanist, one diviner, and one fighter. Interesting group to be sure.
A Totemist is actually not an arcanist. Imagine it like a fighter with the ability to shoot beams, breath weapons, fly, teleport, etc. I am a fighter that has versatility and three knowledge skills (arcana, nature, and the planes)
