I do believe so. At least I don't remember seeing a post that said we're closed, and considering I just went through the whole damn thread looking to read Northman's CS I'm pretty sure it's not there... Besides, who the hells gonna turn down the The Dark Lord?

side note: his eyes change depending on how he sees things
Mutations: is able to switch between uv (night) vision, thermal vision, and regular vision using a heavy mutation of the hazel eye gene. due to living in heavily radiated areas most of his life his body has become naturally accustomed to it, allowing him to withstand much higher doses as well as go without a gas mask in more areas than most people however this requires that he maintains nutrient and water balance much more carefully or he could pass out very easily
Weapons: home made bow with 5 home made arrows, an almost endless amount of shivs (it's a lie but it'll seem like it), and a hatchet
Gear: two gallon jugs of water, a whetstone, pocket knife, tee shirt, trenchcoat, cargo pants, backpack, a small stuffed bear he affectionately calls "mr. fluff", a blanket, and carefully prepared meals for a week along with random bits and bobs he could stuff in his pockets from scavenging

Short History: mr. smith is a traveling mercenary often times contracted to do things most civilized people would refuse to do, yet he seems to love them. while little is known about his past due to his penchant for not really sharing with others aside from sharing a swift end on one of his blades of course, but he is known to stare at his bear when drunk for hours on end, growing progressively sadder until disappearing for a few hours

@wired who said anything about him being bad ass or likable? and i'm not saying he's going to be a walking fucking tank, and in some ways e'll be easier to kill but if you don't know what those ways are then you're massively buttfucked...

Well then let us pray that neither of us wishes to kill one another. Wouldn't want my character to snipe you from afar now, would we :P

And in all honesty, I think we should let Shadow have the final saying on how his character goes, just since he's the GM after all. But if you ask me, then I'd say he can seem a tiny bit OP taking into account that "all" he has to do is to be careful to eat and drink. Might seem difficult enough in a world scarce with food and water, but perhaps add something drug-related or the need for certain medication to keep his already messed nerve system going?

Oh, and I like his teddy bear, you can keep that ^^

He's pretty cool, but yeah, the eye thing seems like it'll be a little too easy to exploit. Oh, and isn't two gallons a shit ton of water to carry everywhere whilst carrying other stuff too? Aside from that he's cool I think, and the Teddy Bear is a great addition. :D But yeah, all depends on our great Game Master.

i was thinking about adding cigarettes due to the pic (lung cancer and all that) but considering a town can be called rich if it houses 20 military rations i do believe food is a major issue and could honestly result in mister smith (and to a lesser extent mr. fluff) dying early

2 gallons is alot, but when you look at everything else he has... it's not much...

and to both of you: he was intended to be slightly op, which is why i'm having him start off in a much harsher area when compared to the rest of the chars

The rp starts at auroras end so you should probably start there too...

You know all you ppl with night vision are gonna suck ass if the enemys have anything like a flashbang or a bright torch...

maybe, but it was said that the char was slightly op so (in my opinion at least) he should start in a more difficult area :P
