"Elsa, please!" Anna insistently pursued her sister up the winding, icey stairs, clutching the intricately detailed handrail with her mitten clad hand and puffing white clouds out of her mouth with every breath she took in the frosty air.
"Go away, Anna" the older sister replied, folding her arms defensively across her chest and turning away, retreating further and further up the stairs, deeper into her protective stronghold of ice.
"Your life awaits back in Arendelle, just leave me be"
"No, Elsa! Wait!" Anna called, struggling to keep up with her sister on the perfectly smooth slabs of ice that formed each stair.
"I get it now! I understand, you don't need to hide anymore...it's okay, I'm right here for you."
Reaching the top of the spiralling stairs, Elsa came to a hault upon hearing the sincerity in her sister's voice. Forced to withdraw from others as she had been, Elsa had not heard such heartfelt words in a long time, she had simply not allowed herself to. Up here on the north mountain however, she was free, liberated and for just a moment, the expression on her face warmed and she smiled at her sister as she remembered their childhood together.
Pausing a few steps below Elsa, Anna stared up at her sister and the receptiveness of her expression encouraged her to continue.
"It could be just like it used to be...just come home, come back to Arendelle"
In an instant, Elsa's face became stony and cold as ice once more.
"That is how you would have this story end?" she responded, her voice swelling with quiet rage. "With me putting the gloves back on? Returning home, hiding?"
"No! I--" Anna tried to interject but Elsa was having none of it.
"Pretending!? Wearing a mask!"
"Elsa! I just want us to be together again, like we used to be!"
"No, that can't happen. I may be alone up here but I'm alone and free" Elsa turned her back on her sister and, with a grim expression, surveyed the sun through the towering arched window of her castle. It was rising like a pheonix from the horizon, just as she had when she cast off the fear she had been holding inside. It pained her to shut her sister our, but she was never going back.
"...Get out" stated Elsa without turning around.
"What? But Elsa, I--" Anna tried stepping forward but her sister rounded on her, her eyes pained but fierce.
"Get out!!" she ordered once more, a flurry of snow building in the room, accompanied by a gale that Anna struggled to be heard over.
"But Elsa! You've Frozen Arendelle! Nobody can--"
"OUT!!!" Elsa screamed and the snow roared and billowed up into a great blizzard.
Elsa was more afraid of the snowstorm building in the room than Anna was, she had to get her sister out, out and away from her before her powers manifested themselves into something more terrible than she could imagine.
Whether or not Elsa heard her claims about Arendelle, or cared, was unknown to Anna as she was met by a towering wall of ice that forced her down the stairs, across the icey foyer and out through the doors of Elsa's ice palace, doors which disappeared, to be replaced by nothing but a sheer, collosal wall of impenetrable ice.
"Elsa, wait! Please!" Anna begged as she struggled against the icey magic, but she was no match for the immovable wall that continued to force her down the staircase at the front of the palace, depositing her safely at the bottom as the staircase collapsed into the mighty ravine that it had been bridging, leaving the tower completely cut off and unreachable, alone on the side of the mountain.
"I love you sister" Elsa said quietely to the featureless wall through which she had just pushed Anna "But I have to protect you...and will never come back to Arendelle"
Outside, Anna simply stared at the wall in shock, unable to believe that her sister had denied her and eventually disappeared along with her companions into the white mist, traveling home in defeat.
And so the storm in Arendelle raged on, the eternal winter its queen had summoned began to spread further and further from its source, covering ever increasing tracts of land in ice and snow, turning harbours solid and freezing oceans, wreaking havock on the balance of the world.
Meanwhile, in a little nook of Neverland known as Pixie Hollow, the warm fairies were just returning from bringing summer to the mainland, tired and ready for a well deserved rest before beginning the work to bring about fall.
Little aware are they of the chaos about to befall them.

Hello everyone and welcome to Disney Fairies: Winter Quest a roleplay which will be formed from a conglomerated and slightly AU version of several specific Disney films with their worlds mashed together to coexist slightly anachronistically in one unified world.
As you may have guessed from the intro post, the plot will be kick started by an AU version of the film Frozen in which Elsa ousts Anna from her castle without injuring her and seals off her castle, leaving Elsa's eternal winter to rage on and the point in the story where Elsa is in her castle and Anna is back in Arendelle to be drawn out, allowing our plot to occur in that expanded middle point.
Our plot will be revolving around a group of Dinsey Fairies who, being in charge of bringing about the seasons and maintaining balance in nature, will have one giant quest on their hands to set Elsa's raging storm to rights.
I've included a link to the wiki up there but the basic gist with the fairies is that they live in a little nook of Neverland called Pixie Hollow and are directly responsible for maintaining the balance of nature, including bringing about the seasons (so yeah, an eternal winter is really their problem).
In pursuit of this duty, each fairy has a talent that they are especially skilled at. garden fairies help plants grow and paint leaves their beautiful golds and reds in the fall, animal talents help keep critters feed, clean and deal with things like hibernation, tinker fairies...well, they tinker. So feel free to run wild with what talent your fairy is, I'll be looking at them on a case by case basis but basically, if you can justify it, I'll let it in.
So please, join in and have some fun!

So here is the map I've made up for our Rp with the Disney Worlds place in their approximate real world locations (with a bit of artistic license dividing a few so that there won't be multiple rulers of a single kingdom). I intend for our Rp to take us all over this map and as you can see, Elsa's ice storm is already spreading out from Arendelle! Keep an eye on this map to monitor the storm's growth!
The newly arrived fairy Deeta flitted through the sky on wings that looked far too large for someone so small and delicate, zooming along just ahead of her pair of purple clad guides with unbridled exuberance, fascinated with all around her.
Born literally minutes ago, everything was brand new to the fairy and her eyes sparkled with wonder and delight as she fluttered through Pixie Hollow, darting among the fairies flooding back from the mainland.
She was in awe as she watched light fairies streak rainbows across the sky, tinkers whacking their hammers against their wild contraptions and animal fairies herding bunny rabbits into a coral for a nice hair brushing.
"What's that?" she questioned, eyeing a newly painted ladybug "What's that?" she asked barely a second later, having flittered over to a flowing stream "Oh my gosh, what's that? What's that!? What's THAT!?" ...
***
So, 'how do I join?' I hear you cry. Well friends, 'tis simple. There are no profiles here, simple finish the above scenario as if the last thing Deeta points at is your character.
Have someone (the two fast flyers accompanying her, or someone else) describe your character to her.
Be sure to describe stuff like appearance, how long they've been in Pixie Hollow, what their talent and general position within Pixie Hollow is and how they generally act and associate with others.
It's okay if they know stuff other characters wouldn't normally know, this won't transfer as common knowledge into the Rp and make sure you put some effort in! This isn't as boring as a profile but it's still a test of writing ability and creative flair!
Also. before joining, please consider whether or not you can commit to a post AT LEAST every three days. This Rp is intended to be slow but steady and, while I'm happy for it to plod along, I DO want it to keep moving. I WILL kick you if I feel you're being detrimental to the health of out little Rp here ^_^
