There's a difference between 'not rushing progress', and 'entire week since last post'.

Roleplays like this die out because of big stretches of nothingness. Interest fades because either nobody seems to actually give a shit about it, or they're too busy to actually post.

Oh we could do that. and your char could at least take cover or go hide down in the hull away from the bullets and gun fire.or under one of the torpedoes.

But it's a post in the IC, and it's not pointless, it shows that she wasn't just standing around in the middle of the battle where she could have been hit with a stray bullet and killed or wounded.

Okay, that's a reasonable workload, so I won't be too harsh. But I should make note that a GM not having properly read or understood another player's post is really poor form.

A week gap of posting is never good. That may sound strict, but the problem is that roleplays are incredibly fragile things. A single person leaving, or not posting for a while, can bring an entire roleplay down. I've seen it happen many times. The stagnation makes people lose interest -- and the fact that we don't exactly have the most active OOC hardly helps, so when the when the person who should post doesn't, then we really need to just move on to the next person who has something of note to do.

So let's ask -- who is the next person down the line with something noteworthy to do?

I also really liked the character that was smoking dope/snorting coke, the Irish guy, can't think of his name at the moment xD so that could be it too...
