In the Gulf of Thailand heading to Jakarta, the Nomad crew were shipping several crates of weapons for Hotel Moscow to a small militia that was opposing it's government. It was early in the morning with the sun high in the sky, the water of the gulf was calm and almost seemed peaceful, everyone was on the Higgins at different sections doing different things to pass the time. Jack was in the bridge he was piloting the boat as usual, but this time he was yawing and felt really tired, he wasn't close to falling a sleep, he rubbed his face with his hand and stretched a little while he laid back in his chair, Alice was on the bow on the Higgins, she was bored playing solitaire while she listened to music on her Ipod with the music blasting, she had her back to the mounted gun that was at the front.

Leon was on deck, just behind the cabin, he was sitting down, covered from the sea breeze that was blasting past them as they sped along their course. A pair of binoculars lay by his side as he made several attempts to light a cigarette. After a few minutes he had his nicotine fix, he gave the cigarette a pull. He exhaled, the smoke pouring from his nose as he stepped back up, grabbing the binoculars. He had them to his face, scanning for silhouettes on the horizon, 'Not a thing...' he thought to himself. Leon sat the binoculars down on an outcropping of metal, and took the cigarette from his mouth and yelled out to Alice. "Its to bloody quiet! Oi've got ah bad fock'n feeling Alice!! How do y'ah feel about it!?" He yelled as loud as he could, hoping the woman could hear him over her loud ass music he knew she was listening to. He brought the cigarette back, took a drag, the tip glowing brighter and smoke spilled from his nostrils a second later. If anything she could see he was saying something if she'd look up from her damned card game.

Ana sat in the ship, looking over the cargo. Smoke piled up on the ceiling as the last breaths of the cigarette faded away. She spit it onto the floor, and stomped a foot on it, the boot crashing loudly against the metal. She stood from the chair, and let out a sigh. Delivery jobs were boring as hell. This boat was boring as hell. No cellphone service meant she couldn't talk to some guys in Roanapur to pass the time, and since she doubted wifi was available in the middle of the ocean, she hadn't brought her laptop out to play some games to pass the time. She brought a foot up and kicked the wall with her heel, and muttered, "Fuckin' hell."

After a few more minutes of sulking in her boredom, the woman made her way up to the deck. As she exited, another cigarette stuck between her lips, she was just in time to get blasted by Leon's shouting. She let out a sigh and brought a pair of rectangular sunglasses out, and placed them over her eyes, the glare of sun on water harsh to her sensitive gaze. Then she turned in Leon's direction. "'Ey, keep it down, asshole," she said, pushing her hands into her coat pockets. "Easy job's an easy job, take it while ya can. Don't try to ruin our day with your worrying." Not that her day could get that much worse, but listening to some British fuck complain about his "bad feelings" wasn't something she wanted to spend her time doing.

In contrast to her crewmates, Krista was having a blast. Granted, that was probably because she had her laptop out and was watching ludicrous amounts of pornography. They, however, didn't have porn. Ergo, they were bored. Made sense.

The six foot tall Australian woman leant against one of the torpedo carriers along the side of the ship a bit further down from where Leon was, and was staring intently at the video on her laptop screen. She wasn't really making any particular effort to hide what she was doing either, as Leon would only have to step a little to the left to get a pretty good idea who was having anal sex with who. She could have been doing something productive, like trying to read a novel or developing her language skills some more, but the problem with that was is delved too far into her incredibly necessary porn watching time. She only wrenched her eyes away when she heard the man's distinct accent call out that he had a 'bad feeling'. He was pretty rapidly put down by Fritzy.

"Don't worry, Leo!" she said, raising her voice to be heard over the raging winds, and intentionally leaving out the 'n' at the end of his name. She had a light Australian accent, but it was not exactly pronounced -- the time spent speaking other languages along with her stay in Roanapur had considerably worn it down. "Just calm down and watch porn!" she lifted her laptop in the air, screen facing them.

The screen went black. Krista blinked and brought it back down. She blinked again and realised with complete and utter horror that it had run out of batteries. "Fuck! Now I'm bored." She turned back to her crew mates. "Could somebody please shoot someone?" she said, half-jokingly.

Alice took out her headphones, to have her ears be greeted by everyone being annoyed and bored out of their minds, Alice collected the cards and put them in one hand, she stood up and looked at them all with a bored look on her face, " Do like everybody said, half and half and go shut the hell up or take a nap or something, nobody cares that this is too easy, hell I think Jack actually fell asleep driving this big bitch." Alice told everyone, when Krista mentioned if " somebody could shoot someone " Alice quickly pulled out her Beretta and aimed it at Krista's forehead." I could fulfill that request, and shoot you." Alice quipped

Below the deck of the Higgins, Dimitri was hard at work with his latest pet project, sitting cross legged whilst surrounded by heaps of indiscernible parts, wires, and vials of chemicals each sporting one sort of hazard logo or another. Next to the man sat an iPhone charger/auxiliary device which was currently blaring the song Date Rape as loud as it possibly could. "Just gotta plug this wire here, a stitch this up here...aw yea...lemme see you in the light you beautiful mother fucker!" he said happily before holding up his latest invention with a somewhat concerning giggle of glee. Clenched between Dimitri's hands was what appeared to be a simple brown stuffed rabbit with a happy face embroidered on its stomach. Although harmless in appearance, the toy was stuffed with enough semtex to turn the inside of a truck sized vehicle -along with everyone inside of it- into the type of scene that would make Michael Bay weep with pride. Assuming that by some miracle the explosion didn't immediately kill the intended target, Dimitri's addition of several screws, bits of glass, and bits of jagged metal into the limbs and head of the toy ensured that nothing would walk away.

The Dominican man stood and kicked his way through the mess on the floor of his tiny workshop, and set the toy down on a shelf along side several other toys, some of which were equally as unassuming as the newest addition, while other looked like something out of a horror film, which, considering the fact that they were for psychological warfare as well as physical warfare, made them all the more fun for Dimitri to use on whatever poor bastard he was told to kill. Dimitri wiped his hands on his pants and exited his 'workshop' via the stairs to the deck, quickly wiping away the grin on his face and replacing it with the slight scowl he often chose to wear around his fellow mercenaries, though he couldn't help but smirk slightly at Alice's offer to shoot Krista "Why don't you two just fuck instead? It'd be a hell of a lot more entertaining for everyone." he said, punctuating his proposition with a snicker.

Apparently making jokes involving death or the weaponry involving said death around Alice was a terrible, terrible idea. She put her hands up in vague alarm. "Whoa, whoa, Sunshine, now, I know that you're just using this harsh exterior and death threats to hide the fact that you're secretly infatuated with me, but could you point away the thing that fires flaming death? 'Shot in the head with a misfired -- hopefully, misfired -- pistol' is not something I want on my tomb stone." By this point she had stopped noticing whether or not Alice had actually still had the gun pointed at her, and was now conjuring up several ideal death fantasies. It was a split between 'over-dosing from the exact amount of drugs used in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas whilst in Vegas at a poker table', or 'dying from too much sex'. The former sounded more interesting, but it didn't sound more enjoyable than the latter...

Dimitri had apparently also made his way up top, and started his contribution to the conversation stunningly. "Dimitri, you magnificent man, you have the greatest ideas!" she said with a big grin etched on her face, and responded by loosing her tie, throwing her suit's jacket aside, and started unbuttoning her shirt without a single moment of hesitation or shame. "It's gotta be done, Alice. It’s gotta be done."

"...Eh, would this be a'h bad time t'ah speak m'ah moind!?" Leon yells, his binoculars shoved against his face. "Oi see two unidentified vessels approaching from our 'leven o'clock!" His finger was shoving down the button to his headset as he yelled, knowing full well everyone on deck had just gotten a double dose of his voice. Leon was just letting their captain know, "Oi'm sorry Krista, get y'ah tie back on, we don't 'ave toime for 'forceyfuntimes' right this minute! Cap'n orders?" He requested, keeping his gaze on the silhouettes in the distance, so far he'd done as best he could to ignore the yammering that had gone on. His cigarette had a bout a nub of tobacco left as he pulled on the last of it, blowing the foul smoke out and spitting the butt aside.

( Damn I was actually going to have the boats come in but whateves )

" No thanks Krista, I don't fuck crack heads or assholes so keep dreaming and go fuck your self." Alice said to the drug addict she turned away from the former rich kid and holstered her gun, at the same moment Leon had noticed two other boats. Inside of the bridge Jack had noticed four boats on the radar, he heard Leon on headset reporting two boats," No actually your wrong there are two. wait no four more, and they don't look like Jakarta's welcoming committee." Jack told them over the headsets. Soon one of the other boats that Jack spotted started shooting at the boat.

" Damn it ! Can you lesbos stop fighting and shoot back at those motherfuckers before they either sink us or kill us all ? And all of you stop screwing around and attack those pricks " Jack ordered everyone while the other boats started closing in and shooting at the Higgins, Alice climbed onto one of the gun turrets and started to fire back at the boats," Where the hell were these guys at for all this fucking time !?" Alice yelled at everyone else.

Ana simply stared, her arms crossed, at the little display that was going on in front of her. Normally, a gun pulled out and pointed at a comrade would have made her shoot someone in a moment. But, she wasn't in charge of this little team, and barely knew any of them enough to try and assert any sort of authority. So, instead, she watched, a little half smile on her face, as Alice and Krista had their little back and forth. Smoke dribbled from the corner of her mouth as the cigarette lost some length, and she turned her head a little as Leon spoke up again. She was about to make a remark about how you don't stop someone from stripping, but when Jack confirmed the threat of the boats and then some gunfire hit, playtime was over.

Her eyes narrowed at the bastards firing at them. Probably some 'oppressive' government who had gotten wind of who they were and where their shipment was going. Like Alice, she hurried over to the other mounted gun and began firing at the enemy vessels. Above the gunfire, she yelled to the other three, "If anyone knows of some grenade launchers on the ship, now would be a good time to grab them!" As a boat neared she gave it a good round of suppressive fire, causing it to back away. "At least we finally got some fun, right guys?"

"Oh you cruel, cruel malefactor!" she intentionally put on a grandiose and posh voice. The day just never felt right unless she made unsuccessful and half-joking sexual advances towards Alice, only to be quickly insulted with variously colourful vocabulary. "You would deny our love with such painful wor-" she started, but was cut off by Leon's yells of attackers. She gave a small sigh.

The fact that Krista was pretty much the only one on the crew without extensive combat experience didn't exactly worry her too much -- all she had to do was make it up by being the most charming motherfucker on the boat. Well, that, and contributing in other ways, such as the delivery agreements, and the fact a language gap being bridged often made things a much smoother process. In this case, she was around because of her knowledge of Indonesian -- she would've just stayed home if her language skills weren't needed. Unfortunately, in moments like this, she pretty much had to rely solely on her crew-mates -- she was a Professional Polyglot ("The capitalisation is necessary"), not a gunman. Her line of work seemed to be afford a certain amount of crippling overspecialisation. She had a gun, but couldn't use it worth shit. The only reason she had lived so long in Roanapur was because she managed to get friends and contacts. In conclusion -- into the cabins she went. She grabbed her jacket from the ground, and moved to the hatch. "Yeah, you guys have fun!" she said hurriedly as an aside comment and she descended.

She un-holstered her weapon --instinctively, more than anything, she didn't actually think she'd shoot anyone today-- and moved towards the bridge, where Jack was.

"Can we get away from them?"

A wide grin wormed its way onto Dimitri's face as Leon mentioned the unwelcome guests making their way towards the Higgins, "I've got just the thing we need..." he said with a dark chuckle before slipping back under the deck. Not more than two minutes later, Dimitri returned with a duffel bag from which several beeping sounds emanated, and a rocket launcher with the words 'the pain train' spray painted on the side tucked under his arms. The Demolition man quickly shuffled to the back of the ship and crouched, "Alright my lovelies, do papa proud!" he said before cackling and unzipping the bag to reveal several grenades and, of all things, pool toys, each with an explosive either on or inside of it. Waisting no time, Dimitri flung most of the pool toys out into the water, then waited with the detonator clenched in his fist and a twisted leer etched on his face as he waited for the first boat to pass his babies.

The other boats started exploding from Dimitri's attacks and some of them started to slow down and veer off from the Higgins, the remaining boats kept firing on them from a distance, soon one of the them fired off a mortar that almost hit the Higgins. Lucky for the crew, Jack made the boat swerve and dodge the mortar shot, when the mortar boat fired off another round towards the Higgins Jack swerved again to the left to dodge the round, the shot was close and shook the entire boat making it rock uncontrollably for everyone, the shake almost made Jack bash his head into the controls, but he managed to reel his head back and stop himself from dooming them all. .

Alice was firing at the boats that were a longer range away, when Jack dodged the first mortar shot Alice almost hit her head on the rail holding the mounted gun, but when Jack dodged the second she actually hit her head on the gun it's self and it caused her head to bleed, she felt the blood dripping from her head, and collected some with two of her fingers, she licked the blood from her fingers and held the ear piece close to her mouth." Hey someone grab some of the extra hardware that we're carrying to take out some of these mofos, I don't want to die out here by either Dimitri's hands or these asshats' hands." Alice told everyone one before she went back to shooting on the main gun.

Leon was already in Anti-Aircraft turret on the left side of the bridge, they weren't firing at battleships, so some flak to the deck should in theory fuck them over. "Oi, shoot those fuck'ahs Dimitri! Don't just stand there!" He gripped the handles of the large machine gun in front of him, he swiveled the weapon until he was leading the attacking vessel with his sights. With a loud, fast and repetitive, 'Papow-Papow', Leon's MG sent rounds of flak down range at the fuckers trying to stop the Nomad. "Oi! Oi fock'n 'ope t'ah 'ell you boys l'oike it, y'ah fock 'eads!" He shouts loudly before being flung to the side, sending his rounds up and into the air, pulling the gun with him. "Shit!" Leon shouts regaining his balance before he's thrown into the opposite direction, a loud bang sounded sending his side into the metal side of the 'tower' he was standing in. "When it settled he brought the boat back into sight, continuing to lay down some sort of suppression on their attackers, waiting for Dimitri to use his 'toy.'

Ana kept up the firing as the men kept trying to get near the boat. Though, now that the little floating pool toys of death were floating around everywhere, the boats were becoming more and more cautious. That made her job a tad easier, as they were becoming increasingly easier to predict. Grinning like a savage, she pelted one of the boats on the side with her bullets, creating large dents and more than a few holes in its hull. It backed off, much to her disdain. Cowards couldn't handle a little challenge, eh? Poor things. She heard Leon shout something, and she turned her head to the side to shout over her shoulder, "Jesus fucking Christ, I speak English better than you, and it's not even my native language!" And with that, she turned her attention back to the boats swerving around in the water before her.

Krista took Jack's lack of an answer positively. Perhaps he was just distracted by the mortar shells veering dangerously close to the boat, or the deafening sound of numerous machine guns firing on top deck, but she chose to ignore their close brushes with death and take his silence as sheer confidence in his ability to get them away from their assailants. Unfortunately the attacker's didn't decide to communicate with their via radio before enacting their attack, because she literally had nothing to do except cower away inside the hunk of metal hoping that nothing managed to hit their extraordinarily flammable delivery items.

Her balance faulted as they managed to dodge the mortar shots, and collapsed against the iron hull. Despite herself, she couldn't help but let a tiny chuckle escape her lips as her adrenaline slowly rose. "In case your life ain't enough incentive, I'll buy ya' a drink later if we escape with our limbs intact!" she laughed to Jack from the ground, despite being fully aware that the boat could blow up at any second.

Dimitri's response to Leon's order to shoot the boats swerving near the Higgins wasn't even words, just a string of maniacal laughter as he loaded his launcher and took aim, "ALL ABOARD! CHOO-CHOO MOTHERFUCKERS!" Dimitri screamed as he fired his first rocket from the pain train. One boat managed to avoid getting hit, but the other wasn't so fortunate. Dimitri patted his launcher with a somewhat glazed look in his eyes and a satisfied smile on his lips as part of the boat exploded in a vibrant display of flames, shredded metal, and dismembered corpses, "Aww yea...this shit's almost better than fuckin' sometimes! Wish I had a cigarette on me...". Some would say Dimitri's passion for explosives were unhealthy, fetishistic even, however Dimitri couldn't care less so long as this job continued to pay him for what he did best.

Jack was silent trying to focus but didn't like how Krista was enjoying how they could possibly die if he messes up," Please like you could afford the liquor I even drink." He played along with her. like her he had adrenaline pumping through his veins at the time. The last of the boats that were actually intact and had some people left on them started pulling back, Jack started to come down from his adrenaline rush and started to breath heavy, it wasn't from surviving from the attack, was trying to come down without having some sort of heart attack or dying on everyone." God damn that kinda hurts." he announced to himself and Krista." They're backing off guys cease fire unless you want to pay for the ammo in the mounted guns." Jack put the boat normal speed.

While they were still fighting Alice laughed and agreed with Ana," Shit I grew up speaking Portuguese, and I speak better English than you than you, you broken english using son of a bitch !" Alice yelled to Leon. When Jack told them to cease fire, Alice was still feeling combat high and jumped from the mounted gun, she aimed herself for Dimitri, and jumped onto his back trying to bring him down, she wasn't trying to hurt him, she was playing around with the demo guy.

As the others had began to lambast Leon for his way of speaking, Dimitri snapped out of his post coital-esque daze and began to speak on Leon's behalf, possibly to mention the fact that Leon's country was actually responsible for the spread of the english language. before Dimitri got the chance however, he felt a sudden violent shift in balance and weight as Alice full on slammed into him out of nowhere, "Que demonios!?", the demolition man squawked in surprise rather than anger as he grabbed hold of the ship's guard rail to avoid tumbling to the ground.

"Oi, fock all a'h ya'h!" Leon shouted at them, wave his middle finger around in their faces, Dimitri putting in a word for him moments later. "T'is f'oine Dimitri." He shrugged them all off before spinning around, yelling at their routing opponents, cupping his hands around his mouth and yelled at the top of his lungs. "Wh'ot a'h lot o' pussies! Can't 'andle th'ah 'eat, stay out a'h th'ah fock'n f'oire!" He grinned like a madman, he hadn't done much but he got his own kicks from taunting the dead and the ones in flight. Sometimes causing them to turn right back around and finish killing themselves, though seeing as they probably couldn't hear him nor would they know what he was saying, that wouldn't happen this time. "Oi'm goi'n down, check on our Polyglot! Make sure she didn't 'ave a'h 'earta'httack!" The Britalian chuckled as he took a knee in front of the stern's hatch, pulled it open and climbed down. "Oi! Jack, 'ow is she?" He asked, talking about the Lagoon, that obviously was more important than the Australian language nut that couldn't even put up a fight. "Th'ah Lagoon, th'aht is!"
