Sorry, meant to post last night, but I ended up watching Les Chevaliers du ciel, which is an incredibly awesome movie. For anyone even slightly interested in military aviation, I highly recommend it.
Here's some footage from the movie. All of the scenes were shot with actual Mirage 2000-5 fighters, Dassault-Breguet-Dornier Alpha Jet E's and AWACS, among others and the cinematography is frankly superb.

A pilot would have an oxygen mask, but it'd be hooked into an air supply inside the vehicle rather than a gas mask.

Even then, it's only pilots who fly at high altitudes and high-G's that have oxygen masks. Helicopter pilots don't generally need them, it's usually fast-jet pilots who have them. Look up some images of attack helicopter pilots, like Apache or Super-cobra pilots.

No worries - you don't need to recap in detail, as we can all just re-read your earlier post about the defences and assume in character you recapped it (there's not really much point in re-treading old ground), but if you want to make a post, then good. Now we've got everyone back in a group bar Winter and Slypheed, we can make a plan to swoop in on the HQ and have a bit of a battle, before the de-brief and back to the Landcruiser for tea and medals.

Well, i think i need Silver's permission for it but i was thinking of having your characters be part of the bandits team to get transferred to Roughriders after the trainingsmission. That way you both be in the middle of the action^^
