This is a clan of high exceptional individuals. Their clan mark is a centipede forming a half-eight. They possess one of the most powerful techniques in Kumogakure. The clan has various specialized techniques which fall into three different major uses and, depending on which side of the family you are born into depends on the nature of the abilities you will possess.
They carry unique traits that are commonly found on all the members. They have light colored hair that is either blond, auburn, a dull gray or a full silver and they have tanned skinned. They are born with black nails, are typically short in stature and, their most prominent feature, have either silver or yellow eyes.
The power is a closely guarded secret and, from birth, the clan members are made to keep its secrets within the clan. As such, they also do not mingle with individuals of other races and keep the production of children an inhouse matter. They are old fashioned and believe that only those of pure Dankoukuro-Mukade blood have a right to have a child with those of pure Dankoukuro-Mukade. This gave the clan somewhat of a poor reputation and a very low number of stable offspring through each and every generation. It has grown so bad that, typically, the Dankoukukro-Mukade don’t name their children until they are at least 3 years old and their stability can be clearly ascertained. Those children that are deemed “normal” are given incredible first names and those deemed “abnormal” are raised to be caretakers for the normal children, though they are more like servants.
The Dankoukuro-Mukade are typically very arrogant. They think of themselves as a clan far better than even the Uchiha and the Senju. Although conceited, they are proud too. Everyone of them is a patriot that will fight for their village and it is required that every “normal” child born is to become a ninja of at least Jonin rank. They greatly admire the Raikage and will go to great lengths to please or protect him, though not as far as to ever have relations with the Raikage...There were problems in the past in that regard.
The three main abilities of this clan vary in great degrees and are practiced by different branches of the family. There’s the Dankoukuro, who practice one art, and the Mukade, who practice another, and then there are those in between, of the Dankoukuro and Mukade, who are capable of a melded art consisting properties of both. It is said that all three of these techniques are prized weapons for the village, even if not all are combat related.
- Dankoukuro - Those of the Dankoukuro possess the ability to sense electrical signals, detect electromagnetic energy, and are completely immune to electrocution. Those of the Dankoukuro can see and sense individuals as bodies of electricity, naturally, thus are able to detect even a ninja hiding themselves, but they can go even further with this capability. They are also able to amplify and manipulate the electricity in their own body and exist as an intangible body of pure electricity and even move in such a state. They are able to electrocute a field of foes simply by flying around a battlefield in the form of a near-unstoppable electric cloud. When they do this their bodies are dead, thus they could even use this technique to fool an enemy, before returning to their bodies and bringing themselves back to life. Naturally, there is only a certain amount of time they are able to do this [5-8 minutes], but even in that short span of time the devastation they are able to cause as pure, high speed electricity is immense.
There are only 4 “normal” Dankoukuro in the village and those “abnormal” cannot utilize the technique at all. One of the “abnormal” Dankoukuro was a “normal” but he abused his technique and caused irrevocable damage to his brain. He was the former clan leader. As of yet, no one has stepped up to replace him.
The Dankoukuro are known as the Lightning-Runners and the Stormbringers of Kumogakure due to their ability, however they have hardly been of any major use to Kumogakure as of late due to a severe lack of “normal” clansmen.
- Mukade - Those of the Mukade posses the ability to accelerate the electrical signals in their brains. Due to this ability they are able to send neural communication through their bodies at a faster rate and they are able to train their bodies to superhuman limits. Mukade possess reflexes superior to most normal ninja and hold a hyper intuition that enables them to read a situation almost as if the world around them were moving in slow motion. If human’s were to be compared to computers, Mukade would have a greater processor with superior ram and electric storage than a human by at least a decade in terms of technology. This capability makes them superior hand-to-hand fighters, immensely powerful illusionists, and brilliant tacticians. Those of the Mukade favor the centipede, typically utilizing the creature in combat for various purposes. Their trademark technique is the power to rip electricity clean from the body of a target, thus killing them.
Unlike the Dankoukuro, those of the Mukade are sensitive to electricity. A computer that receives far too much power is assuredly likely to overload and self destruct. Their capacity is fairly high, however they still can only endure so much and, ironically, they are unable to actually cast lightning based ninjutsu themselves. Draining more than one human of their life energy too is a dangerous endeavor.
Unfortunately, there are only 3 “normal” Mukade, however they are highly proficient in the use of the technique and are vastly intelligent. Those three alone provide guidance for the entire clan and has acted as somewhat of a temporary leader, but he is far too old to formally accept the title just like the other two.
- Dankoukuro-Mukade - Those born from a Dankoukuro and a Mukade. These individuals are capable of techniques from both sides of the spectrum and are the most versatile of the three families. Contrary to what one would suspect, they have the least number of “normal” children born under this umbrella. One very special trait of the Dankoukuro-Mukade is that these children are always the most exceptional of the three, thus why couplings are typically stressed between the Dankoukuro and Mukade.
Those lucky enough to be born “normal” have always held exceedingly large chakra reserves, the innate ability to sense and detect electricity, and can bolster and manipulate their own electrical pathway to accelerate themselves. However, their most prominent and famed ability within the clan, which is typically a closely guarded secret, is their rare affinity for a technique simply known as Souseiki or Genesis.
The Souseiki is the not the ability to become lightning or to manipulate the electricity in the bodies of others, but a mix of them both. Souseiki allows the user to animate the dead and manipulate them as pawns. It takes considerable chakra control, powerful reason and concentration, and an affinity for lightning ninjutsu unlike any other to fully bring out the power of Souseiki. It is said in the history of the clan that the first ninja, the first Dankoukuro-Mukade, was able to use Souseiki. He, Shinjiin Ooken, was able to use this technique to bring life to that which was long dead. He could take their memories and force them to use even their unique, long forgotten arts, and he could even make them speak and talk. He could physically take electricity from them and use that as information to even further his own knowledge, thus held unlimited resources and power. He was a the philosopher of the clan, gathering the knowledge of some of the most powerful lightning natured ninjutsu, and collected them in various secret scrolls kept in the clan.
Although the clan reveres him as a god-like hero he was actually a murderer and a graverobber that killed many innocent individuals for their secrets. He was eventually killed by the first Kazekage. The reasoning is different than the truth, however the entire clan has harbored an intense hate for Sunagakure since it’s creation.

- Zomb-B - A Kumo-nin that died on a mission. His body was donated to the Dankoukuro-Mukade clan. This ninja was skilled in ninjutsu. He is able to use all D-Rank level techniques as well as: Chidori Sword - Technique to cloak a sword or weapon in lightning natured chakra to shock a target and increase the sharpness of the weapon.
- Zomb-C - A former Kumo-nin that was arrested for treason. His body was donated to the Dankoukuro-Mukade clan. This ninja was skilled in ninjutsu. He is able to use all D-Rank level techniques as well as: Lightning Release • Black Panther - A powerful technique that summons a swift, destructive black lightning panther.
- Zomb-D - A former prisoner. He was not a ninja. His body was donated to the Dankoukuro-Mukade clan. This man was skilled with a sword, though nothing worthy of fame or infamy. Isai keeps him equipt with well over a dozen different weapons.
- Zomb-E - Isai’s favorite. Zomb-E was a former ninja gifted in the art of transformation ninjutsu. This ninja can perform all D-Rank level techniques as well as advanced level transformation techniques and it is the most sturdy of all his other puppets. This ninja can make themselves sound, appear, and even act like anyone that Isai knows of.
Biography: What could you expect from a boy literally named “Genius” and “Strong”? Isai was an unnamed child until he was 3 years old. His mother, which is also his aunt, and his father, whom is also his cousin, had given birth to a “normal” child. They were so proud of him. They named him Isai Kyouko. They felt that giving him a strong and powerful name would in turn make him a strong and powerful man in the future.
Isai was the only “normal” child born in his clan in the last 25 years. Many of his family members had deficiencies, birth defects, and mental abnormalities, thus he was seen as a gift and a blessing all at the sametime. He would be the next leader of the clan. The boy was treated like a Prince by all in the entire clan. He was spoiled rotten and allowed every luxury. The only price he had to pay was to train in the air of ninjutsu.
It was when he was 7 that it was demonstrated that Isai had the potential to use a secret technique of the clan. As one would imagine, it was, and is, a kinjutsu technique that was kept a secret by the clan for generations. There hadn’t been anyone capable of the technique in so long that those in charge were sure that even the Raikage’s scholars wouldn’t even know they held such a fearsome power. The power to revive the dead and use them as weapons.
Not only was Isai a wonder, but he was also exceptionally powerful. He was gifted with an enormous quantity of chakra and was adept in chakra control. His elders started on their way to immediately training the boy in the use of his techniques and, by 11, he was already bringing back dead criminals to life.
By that point in his life, Isai developed a certain
personality. Arrogant, conceited, greedy and selfish to the core. The boy was highly disrespectful and thought of himself as the lord king of the entire village. He valued himself more than others and thought that the lives of others were expendable. He toyed with the dead, often times made them do disgraceful things, and all for fun. He doesn’t value anyone and thinks he is better than everything in the entire world. He is this world’s treasure! He let his family’s treatment go to his head. To his family he was the beam of hope that they would one day become the most powerful clan in the world. Truly, there wasn’t a single ninja in all of Kumogakure that would be able to recall a Dankoukuro-Mukade child gifted with such skill in Ninjutsu, nor the true nature of their clan’s ability.
It was only a matter of time that he started to show off his kinjutsu technique and it reached the attention of the higher-ups in the village. The situation escalated fairly quickly and it transformed into a challenge of the clan head vs the Raikage, the winner decide Isai’s future. Unfortunately, the Raikage wasn’t Raikage for no reason and the clan leader suffered irrevocable damage and was forced to resign. The entire clan was put on a restriction and the Shock Troopers watch their every move now.
It was decided by the higher ups that Isai be allowed to continue his training, but his instructor would watch him closely and find a way to transform his ability into something useful for the village. Isai has intentions of his own. He plans to become the next Raikage then take over the entire Republic. He doesn’t want to do this for his clan, but for himself. He believes that he deserves everything this world has to offer and he will reel it all in for himself and destroy anyone that gets in his way.

- Dead Soul Technique - Power to reanimate a corpse. This ability, once in effect, is remotely controlled. Isai can manipulate his chakra inside the reanimated corpses to have the corpses fight for him, exactly as he desires. He doesn’t have to use the technique for simply fighting either. Isai can make the corpse speak, though it is typically emotionless and monotone, and even perform techniques. He can only have them perform techniques that coincide with his own chakra nature, as in techniques he’d be able to perform himself, as it is with his own chakra, while using this technique. He’s gifted enough that he can utilize this technique for a long period of time, at great distances, and precisely enough to fight using the zombie puppets and fight himself all at the sametime.
- Lightning Style • Dead Soul Technique - A clan specific variation of the technique. This technique causes the zombies used in the dead soul technique to surge with electricity as they are reanimated. This technique is far more powerful than the Dead Soul Technique. The surge of electricity running through the bodies of the targets gives them strength, will shock anything they can get into contact with, and gives them a large boost to speed. Lightning techniques performed through the dead body are doubly strong.The lightning that runs through the body is of an attuned nature and can revitalize the brain, all the organs, and force the body to move by electrical commands through the energized muscles, thus they are on an entirely different level than just those animated with the Dead Soul Technique. This application also enables using a frail, weak, brittle body and making it strong and of use. As soon as the chakra running through them is severed, they catch fire and burn themselves to ash. As such, the only real flaws of the technique is that it requires the entire body of the subject and it is always a one time use. This technique is more suited to muscle against a target, as it, just like the Dead Soul Technique, can only enable techniques that coincide with the abilities of the user through the zombies.
- Electrical Sensing Technique - Technique that allows the user to see the world in a different spectrum. They can sense, by sight or sensation, electromagnetic waves, no matter how slight, of great distance away. This allows them to detect beings that are hidden, concealed, and to see through illusionary techniques.
- Lightning Style • Mind Reading Technique - Technique that enables the user to run their lightning/electric elemental chakra into the bodies of a target and attempt to read their minds and replicate their memories. All limitations of ordinary mind reading techniques apply here; the technique can be resisted, is taxing on the mind of the user, the user is subject to reverse mind reading, etc. The only difference is this this technique can be used on the dead.
- Souseiki - A technique that enables the user to bring any ninja back to life temporarily by means of electricity. Those brought back by means of this technique have full access to their own specific techniques, bloodline skills, and special skills to be used by the technique holder. It is different than the Lightning Style technique in that there is no sacrifice in using this ability, but their strength doesn’t increase and they are as fragile as they are old. Those that are brought back by means of Souseiki are dead and carry no independent will of their own, however their memories, techniques, and personality can be accessed through the brain and this information can be taken from them and stored in the user. This is a clan specific, S-Rank technique. Individuals brought back using Souseiki can use any technique they held in their former life in addition to being able to perform any technique the user can perform.
