oo quick few questions what type of zombie outspread is it? Is it like the last of us where zombies can basically rot away into fungus, the usual walking dead type of zombies, like if you swallow/get zombie blood in you you are one or you only become one if you are bitten and/or scratched?

Hey Verdant. Sorry for hijacking things. Nobody had any idea what happened but people still liked the idea/concept and wanted to do something with it. Glad you're back. Will be looking over Mr Harris in more detail in a little while.

Name: Daisy Morris
Age: 19
Height: 5'5
Build: Slim, slender appearance. Athletic
Appearance:

Family: Her mother, Keri was with her when everything began to fall apart. Not long after, she was bitten. Daisy refused to shoot her mother until she turned. Her mother is dead and her fathers whereabouts, Shawn are unknown. She hopes he's still alive and that they can reunite someday.

Personality: Daisy is very outgoing and sometimes outspoken. She’s tough and tries to be ready for anything. She has a bit of a temper and clenches her fist when trying to calm down. When she’s scared, she has no problem with admitting it and will most likely start to panic. When you get to know her, she’s one of the nicest, most goofy people you could ever meet. Kind and understanding.

Occupation Before: Daisy was a college student, finishing her Freshman year studying Journalism.

Notable skills: Daisy is pretty good at hand-to-hand combat. She used to take boxing classes to keep herself busy. She can also handle a gun pretty well. Her father was a police officer and took her to the shooting range once she was old enough.

Bio: Before the outbreak, Daisy was a college student studying Journalism. Being the only child, her parents spoiled her until she went off to college. This was a bit of a shock to her. (Not getting most of what she wanted, when she wanted.) But she got over it and learned to do things on her own. Her mother worked at the hospital and a receptionist and her father was a police officer. With Daisy being her parents only child, they made sure she knew how to protect herself. Her father taught her how to fight, leading Daisy to want to take boxing classes. She was one of the best boxers in her class. Daisy grew up in a small town in PA and often traveled to places like California and Florida in the summer. As a child, she would always watch survival shows and go fishing. She always wanted to be prepared in case anything tragic happened. In her free time, Daisy loves to read, swim, shop and enjoy the outdoors.

During the outbreak, Daisy and her mother were on a trip to Florida. They remained inside of their hotel room when things started to go bad. They knew things were worse on the outside and decided to stay indoors. They stayed put for about a week until they ran out of food. They knew they both had to eat, so they ventured out into the city of Miami to search for supplies. After an hour or two or being out, Daisy's mother was bitten. When her mother, Keri, turned, Daisy put her out of her misery. Daisy is unaware if her father is still alive or not. The last time she spoke to him, he told Daisy and her mother to stay safe and that he loved them. She hasn't heard a word from him since.
Daisy has been in a two other groups. Surviving in abandoned homes and grocery stores. They all eventually were killed, split up, or turned.

Disability/Fear: Daisy has asthma. It isn't very bad and rarely bothers her. She hasn't had an asthma attack since she was about ten years old. If she runs for too long, she often gets very tired and has a hard time breathing. If she were to have an asthma attack now she wouldn't know what to do. She's only had a few in her entire life and wouldn't know how to handle an attack if she had one now. She doesn't tell people about this disability because she doesn't want them to think she's weak. She carries an inhaler in her pocket with her at all times.

Weapon of Choice: She has a baseball bat she found while out on a search for food. She also tries to keep a gun in handy. A 9mm pistol that has 15 rounds. But if she doesn't have one (like if she loses it or drops it), she'll use her bat or her fist.

Equipment: She has a backpack with a 13 oz bottle of fresh water, a lighter in her pocket, and a three cans of food. Which could range from soups, canned fruit, or ravioli. A buck knife strapped to her side. A toothbrush and paste (she can't stand not brushing her teeth). Daisy also keeps a few toiletries in her backpack. (Pads/tampons, mini deodorant, one bar of soap, one washcloth and a bottle of rubbing alcohol in case she gets injured and needs to clean a wound.) and a change of clothes (One pair of Jeans and two shirts). Mostly underwear. (Showers aren't always easy to come by. So lots of undies are important) She tries her best to keep her backpack pretty light.

((I hope this character sheet is ok. If you would like me to change anything, please tell me.))

I thought a big part of the Walking Dead universe is that there was no zombie fiction. I don't even say that as a joke, the creators have gone on record with that multiple times.

I'm pretty sure Polyphemus is correct. Also, what kind of hunter's knife are we talking? Are we talking a big nasty bowie knife, a machete, a buck knife, a skinning knife, a bushcraft type knife, or even something as simple as a cheap (But good quality) Mora knife from Sweden (average $15 but good, carbon steel, scandinavian grind, 4 inch blade)

Also, the shotgun... I saw you slip that in, under equipment. It's a weapon. And if you're going to have it, how many rounds does it have? Is it pump action, lever action, break over double or single barrel, are you using smoothbore with shells, rifled slugs.. or using rifled with smooth slugs? Are you using 12 gauge, 10 gauge, 20 gauge, or .410 gauge? Do you have ammunition adapters to use things like .22 long rifle, .30-06 rounds, 9mm rounds...

Also, she must have a really boss and water-tight backpack to hold water in the pack. Did she just poor the water in there hoping it would stay... Or did you mean something like a camelbak? Or is it stored in water bottles? How much water? Are we talking a 6 oz sippie cup, or are we talking like a gallon jug? What other toiletries?

I ask because she could have anything from cans of aerosol deodorant to isopropyl alcohol, even tampons are useful... petroleum jelly, cotton balls, acetone (nail polish remover) etc... Chap stick is even useful. The more specific you get the better.

Food - again, how much, what type?

Everything factors in to your survival, from how much weight you carry, to how much in calories you have to water, and so on.

Also, if most of her changes are underwear... is that primarily what she's going to do - run around in bra and panties? ((Just kidding.. its a joke. Hygiene is important, and if cant wash clothes, at least taking a field shower and changing undies helps immensely and goes a long way to keeping one feeling civilized and human. ... Seriously though... Bra/panties, or bikini wouldn't be outrageous."

Ok, I'll edit it to be more specific. But no, she doesn't run around in her undies. She has clothes, I thought that would be obvious lol. (I know you said you were joking :) )But I'll make everything more specific. I'm new to this site. My old site was shut down and we did things a tad bit different. But I'll clarify on the details of her BIO. And when I wrote water, I'm pretty sure she carries it in a water bottle.

Nice. I've got a couple Mora MG Companion heavy duty ones. Love those knives and they are so cheap, but so well made. I'm going to get one for a friend after I get paid this wed..

Liah, I'm just wanting to be very specific for this RP. Reason being, is most people don't really realize what resources they might or might not have on them. By learning to look at the gear you have, things yo have on you, and see exactly what everything could be used for, it increases survivability and the possiblities. Most characters are carrying around at least six feet of cordage in their shoe laces, maybe more. You can do a lot with just five things.. a good knife or pocket knife, a lighter or ferrocerium rod (firesteel), some cordage, and coverage, like a tarp or something for shelter. Add in a bandanna, a canvas sail needle, a light source like a flashlight or head lamp, a decent compass, mirror, and some duct tape or gorilla tape and you can do even more.

Urban survival has a little bit different needs, but some things stay the same. For instance, several people have food cans on them with food in them. They're probably going to throw them away (I don't know) when they empty the cans. I wouldn't. you can use them to boil water, carry things in, even create a hobo stove if you've got a good cutting tool and a little time. The lids that come off some pull tab cans have very sharp edges. I would use this to my advantage for small cutting tool, like skinning or careful cutting.

So it's not a matter of picking on anyone, if you felt like that. It's just accuracy in detail because it may come into play.
