A long time ago in a galaxy far far away...

Star Wars
Galaxy Dividied

Its 643 ABY and the galaxy is just recovering from a devastating war with a newly formed Sith Empire. There is an uneasy truce between the Sith Empire and the re-instated Galactic Republic after the Triumvirate was dismantled through the assassination of many Imperial Knights that had once been a part of its government. The Republic is now licking its wounds from mostly defending and assisting its allied planets as well as negotiating with neutral systems for their aid in the war effort. The Jedi are doing their part as well and take an active role when it comes with skirmishes with reported Sith sightings.

There are rumors that the Sith Empire is armed with dangerous but experimental technology. Republic spies are doing their best to uncover what they are up to and what the tech is capable of but their efforts have been without success so far. They fear that if the rumors are true when the empire will unleash their secret weapon.

The planet Mandalore is neutral in the war, the new Manda'lore keeping his people happy despite the decrease in Beskar production. The other problem the Manda'lore was faced with were exiled Mandalorian clans, groups of scum that were too attached to the old ways of war over progress like the Deathwatch of old. Due to this the Mandalorians have had very little dealings with the Sith or the Republic outside of the exiles who are more focused with overthrowing the current Manda’lore.

With the rise of the Sith Empire and the war between it and the Republic, crime syndicates such as the Hutt Cartel have prospered. Smugglers, bounty hunters and other unsavory sort take great advantage of the opportunities that the war gives them. There are plenty of people that want other people disappear or some goods that cannot be transported the legal way

Important Notes and Rules:
I composed some of this late at night so Updates are pending

I take suggestions and requests seriously and will consider any and all that come my way. PM me if you have anything you'd like to see, should be added or if you have any questions and wish to run it through me first.

The Rp will start off rather linear but it will branch off. I do not want to see a character or two going off on their own doing their own thing that has little to nothing to do with the linear plot that is happening.

There will be multiple character arcs to follow. I plan on Smuggler/bounty hunter arc, Jedi Arc and a Sith Arc. These arcs may clash with each other at some point. These Arcs are for Scum (Smugglers, Bounty Hunters etc); Republic/Jedi and Sith/Empire arc.

Non-Jedi/Sith characters will not be allowed to possess lightsabers. You’ll have to really convince me to allow otherwise.
Character Limit will be 3-4 characters per player. They can be replaced.
Past Rivalries between players will be left outside of the roleplay.
Sith will be a little restricted at first. No Darths.
Beskar and Cortorsis have become rather scarce. Pure Beskar and Cortorsis will be restricted.
Atleast a single original race is allowed composed by Gemajinn. I was given 20+ pages worth of info on the species and I am allowing it. Gemajinn is pending.

He is confident in his skills and sometimes comes off as a little arrogant and cocky. He’s a fair captain to his crew and isn’t one to make needless sacrifices.

Other Possessions: Old R9-C5 Droid called Rusty due to its rusty brown color

A large Vornskr of the sleek breed instead of the fuzzy kind.
Skills and Abilities: Thalen is a skilled Sabacc and Pazaak player though prefers the former. He is an excellent shot and can handle himself with a blade. He has a basic understanding of the Jedi art Teräs Käsi and uses that understanding in his unarmed combat. He likes to employ gadgets when he fights to keep his enemies on their toes such as a flamethrower or a wrist blaster. Thalen is also an excellent pilot, capable of operating a vehicle from a simple starfighter to a large civilian transport. He knows his fair bit of slicing and has the know how to slice computers and locks though he isn’t a master at it. Civilian and basic Military locks and computers are things he can get through but anything more advanced than that is beyond him.
Unbeknownst to him, he is force-sensitive and possesses natural force-empathy. Although not as great as that of a full-fledged Jedi, he is capable of reading emotions of people and also form a connection with some animals that aren’t completely carnivorous or mad. This is a rather unreliable ability and rarely works. Best case in scenario: The animal will leave him alone. Very best case scenario: The beast will trust him and follow him as a companion.
His most valuable skill however would be the fact he is a natural linguist. He can speak Twi’lek, Mando’a and various other languages almost fluently with just a hint of an accent. He also knows droidspeak.
History: Thalen was born on the smuggler’s moon of Nar Shaddaa. His father was a deadbeat and his mother was barely in his life at all. She might’ve been a slave girl or just some one night stand chick. Hell, Thalen wasn’t even sure if his father was really his father. He didn’t really care at the moment due to the fact that on Nar Shaddaa, you had to fight to survive when you were born in the slums. Luckily, his father was a smuggler wash-out and he told Thalen all he knew about piloting, where to get hidden hatches and such.
Thalen earned money by doing two different jobs. He worked as a courier for the neighborhood gang-boss and also went with his dad on deliveries that were small time smuggling runs. As he got older he started to carry a blaster pistol due to the fact he was getting to rival gang territories and he needed protection. He was also shown how to operate a swoop and he got the hang of it quickly, top swooper in his block.
In his later teen life, Thalen’s dad began to run with some of his old crew and go on more profitable but also more dangerous runs and Thalen was with him. The crew also taught him various things. The muscle of the group was a war vet and trained in the Jedi unarmed style of Teräs Käsi. Thalen didn’t master it but with a bit of ingenuity and light feet he can use its basis to his adventage. The Techie of the group taught Thalen how to slice and he learned even more piloting and blaster skills.
As a pass time, the crew played pazaak and sabacc which Thalen participated in.
As a young adult, Thalen got more and more into the smuggling game and in turn the bounty hunting game. Nar Shaddaa was full of people that wanted other people dead or brought back alive due to debt or something. With the credits he earned from his smuggling runs with his father and his goons plus the total amount he got from hunting down small crooks he bought himself an old transport dated way back in the infamous clone war era. It was run down at first but with more credits for parts and repair, also help from what associets he knew, he fixed up the old thing and named it the Krayt Mother. When he ran with that ship and on his own, he earned more cash to upgrade its systems, engines and even cannons. The ship also came with an astromech, as old as the ship itself.
One of Thalen’s first solo smuggling runs was to the planet Zeltron where some underground mooks had a great taste in death sticks. There he met up with a troublesome Zeltros girl named Serana. The girl proved to be just annoying at first but Thalen eventually grew to find her charming. One thing lead to another and she became his first crew member and so much more.
Name: Haklo Varien
Species: Near-Human
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Appearance: Haklo
Homeworld: Corellia
Personality: Haklo is a rather ambitious Jedi and can be a bit reckless. Although he had a wise master, he can overestimate his own abilities and think with his lightsaber.
Force-Sensitive: Yes
Calling: Jedi
Equipment: Clothing

Utility belt
Armored boots
Other Possessions: He has access to a Jedi Starfighter but he doesn’t really own anything of interest
Skills and Abilities: Haklo is a competent duelist and force user. His preferred lightsaber styles are Makashi, Ataru, Shien- and Djem So and the unarmed Teräs Käsi. He attempted training at Juyo though it proved to be too taxing on his force training.
Haklo’s force training was less excessive than his lightsaber training though he mastered the basic force powers and proved to be a natural adept at others. Telekinesis, Speed and even Mind Trick came rather easily to him as well as Empathy, Sight and Hearing. His most impressive force ability was tutaminis though the ability is very risky and not supposed to be relied upon extensively.
Outside of Jedi training, Haklo is a good pilot though he has seen better non-force-sensitive pilots.
Haklo is agile and quick on his feet which he uses to his advantage in combat.
He has little to no slicing or robotics expertise.
History: Haklo was born on Corellia though he was quickly noticed by a Jedi and then brought to the Temple on Coruscant to be trained in the ways of The Force. His master was Master Kol’Dun, a venerable Twi’lek who treated Haklo like a kind wise uncle. He taught him the ways of the force and how to handle a lightsaber. As a Padawan, Haklo was pretty much stuck to Kol’Dun, observing his master during diplomatic missions and even battles to keep the peace.
Before Haklo reached knighthood, Kol’Dun was given a seat on the Jedi Council and becoming even more influential with not only Jedi but also the Republic in the war effort against the Sith Empire.

Name: Traya Kree
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 26
Appearance: Traya
Homeworld: Tatooine
Personality: Traya is an elusive individual, preferring to play with people’s exepctations and taking them off guard. She is unpredictable at times but in safe zones she shows disdain for lesser citizens.
Force-Sensitive: Yes
Calling: Sith Agent
Equipment: She usually wears fancy and expensive clothing when she isn’t performing espionage. She has makeup set with her, data breaker and slicer tools at nearly all time. She is known to be equipped with a wrist Dart Shooter as well.

Other Possessions: She has some access to Imperial resources such as ships and a limited amount of troops
Skills and Abilities: Traya is an experienced duelist, her preferred style being Juyo and is skilled in Soresu and Niman. She is known for using Force Choke, Lightning and Scream in combat including the basic Mind Trick, Push and Telekinesis.
She is an experienced Slicer and infiltrator, capable on set up a façade and act her way through an enemy complex though she often needs outside help to guaranteed success.
History: Traya was born on the desert world Tatooine where she lived on one of the port cities. There she lived a hard life but at a young age, the time when the Sith Empire went in to place their mark on Tatooine, she caught the attention of a Sith who sensed her potential for the force. She was forcibly taken from her family and to the Sith world of Koribban which was the first world to be taken by the Empire. Her training was harsh and trained under multiple masters before she was designated to a single master.
Her master, an old human skeletal man who was strong with the force, trained her in lightsaber combat. He intended for her to be his own personal assassin and raise his own prestige. She became just that, assassinating troublesome roadblocks that were in his way until she reached her adulthood. Then she turned her lightsaber against him. The arrogant old man didn't even see it coming. She plunged her lightsaber through his chest from behind, allowing him to see the burning blade of her weapon before she used it to remove his head.
With that, she caught the attention of Darth Scorn, a human sith who was in charge of governing the planet Naboo. He wasn't as arrogant as her old master but he didn't lack it either. He was way more powerful though and Traya won´t dare to turn on him…at least not yet.

Though would it be possible to bring some Imperials in as a faction regarding themselves as the True Empire?

Basically unhappy buggers with how shit turned out. Not a massive faction, little section of space measly little fleet. I like playing the politics of it all.

Would it be frowned upon if I included a list of weaknesses in my cs? I feel like a power-playing jerk face just listing the positive, though maybe I am D:

Eventually he was caught and spent time servicing droids for several years, learning enough about them to eventually create his own unique R2 unit, Scythe. Eventually the day came five years ago, on his mother's deathbed, she told him of his sister Blaize. After she passed, he decided to go off and search for her, unaware of what it was like out there in the galaxy.

He eventually came across Thalen and his group of smugglers, and deciding his skills might be useful to the man, offered his services. Of course, it wasn't easy at the start, Dar was worked to the bone. The day finally came when he was accepted as one of the crew members, but even so, he still kept to himself. The only company he ever has with him is Scythe, and he's never really shared his own life with the others around him, which might explain why the rest of the crew stay away from him. When she turned sixteen, things started to change, and she became increasingly violent towards all those around her. Eventually, when she became eighteen, her Force abilities were awakened. She slaughtered her adoptive family, having no remorse for doing so afterwards, heading out on her own into the galaxy. A year after her family's slaughter, she met a Sith who saw potential in her, and thus brought her to the Sith Academy.

She excelled there, graduating quickly and becoming a Sith Warrior in her own right, her name feared by many Jedi. She has killed many Jedi scum, and wished nothing more than to see them wiped from the galaxy for good. Her droid, Scarlet, has tended to various wounds the woman has sustained. Though Blaize keeps those around her at a distance, she does know how to follow orders, and work in a group. Even if she disregards her comrades safety.

Name(s): Ilkea Jhoren, Sre'vkk'lak (Sre), Mrak, “One Eye”

Species: Human

Gender: Male

Age: 29

Homeworld: Tattooine

Force-Sensitive: Yes

Calling: Wanderer

Appearance:
Mrak stands at a solid 6’1, with lean muscle from strenuous labor and combat on Tatooine. While not bulky, his physique shows through his almost total lack of body fat. His right eye is a scarred and ruined mess, permanently shut after a krayt dragon ripped it open with its deadly claws. Mrak keeps this concealed with a simple tan cloth wrapped at an angle around his head. Two more scars from the same incident dig into his left cheek. Mrak’s hands are coarse and callused, his right missing its pinkie finger from the first knuckle up. Most of Mrak’s body is coated in an ugly layer of scars, blaster marks, and tribal tattoos that speak of his conquests on Tatooine.

History: Mrak was born on Tatooine to a pair of young moisture farmers, but then, his name was Ilkea Jhoren. When he was barely a year old, the farm was attacked by Tusken Raiders, and his entire family was slaughtered like animals for the little water they possessed. Luckily, Ilkea was adopted by a female Tusken on the raid, Ora'jss'ask, who had just lost a young child of her own. Ora substituted her deceased babe with Ilkea, ensuring that none of their tribe knew the true identity of the human amongst their ranks. She named the adopted child Sre’skk’lak and raised him as her own with her mate.

Sre lived with the Tuskens in perfect, brutal harmony. As a child, or uli-ah, he proved himself as an exceptional combatant with a gaderfii, even besting a few adults. His skills with a blaster were sub-par, though marksmanship was not a vital part of their culture anyway. At 7, Sre was paired with a bantha cub of the same age and formed the mystical bond that existed between the Raiders and banthas. Life as a Tusken, however, was never easy. He was constantly exposed to pain, violence, and death, not exactly the ideal environment for a child, but it was typical for Tusken Raiders. By the age of 13, Sre had participated in three raids, killing a colonist on each. They did what they must to survive, and Sre never found it to disturb him much.

After eight birthing seasons, or sixteen years, Sre, like all Tuskens, was required to prove himself in order to become a full member of the tribe. He set out into the desert on his bantha mount and into the Jundland Wastes, the breeding grounds of the vicious krayt dragon. It was here that Sre earned his place within the tribe by slaying one of these beasts with his gaderfii club, though the dragon badly damaged his right eye. Sre retrieved the precious dragon pearl from the animal’s gullet and returned to his tribe, hailed as a hero. Sre was given adult robes, a proper gaderfii staff, his own tent, and a mate. Sre and the female Tusken, Jrr'ssk'iis, married, slicing their hands open and allowing their blood to mingle, along with the blood of their bantha mounts. The newly married couple then returned to Sre’s tent, and for the first time since their birth, shed their clothes in the view of another. In Tusken culture, it is strictly forbidden to remove their protective clothing in front of others, except during childbirth and in the privacy of a tent. Breaking this rule would result in banishment, so no Tusken truly knew what the opposite sex looked like until their marriage night. Although Sre was a human, and Jrr a true Tusken, neither knew what to expect, so they simply assumed that male and female Tuskens looked radically different. Regardless, the couple still did what most do on the night of their marriage.

The years passed, with Sre becoming an even more important figure in the Tusken tribe. He was a fierce warrior and smart salvager, ranking him high in the group. Sadly, Jrr never bore any children, since the two were biologically incompatible, though neither were overly heartbroken. The two bonded beautifully, caring more for the other than themselves. Jrr tended to his many wounds he earned raiding, while Sre gave her everything she asked for. This life, while hard, was perfect to Sre. At the age of 24, however, the tribe was attacked by angry colonists in retaliation for the constant raiding parties that destroyed their towns. The colonists were fended off, but Jrr was slain in the midst of the battle, despite Sre’s attempts to defend her. In his shame and sorrow, Sre banished himself from the tribe without his bantha, like many Tuskens do after the death of their mate. He wandered the scorching desert, believing if Jrr’s spirit wanted him to live, she would allow him.

The weakened Sre was found face-down in the burning sand by Mythus Thul, an older Force-sensitive human living on Tatooine. Thul, sensing the Tusken was Force-sensitive too, dragged Sre to his home and cared for him, surprised to find a human face beneath the rags. Sre was equally shocked to discover that he was human. Though Sre spoke no Basic, the two communicated by projecting images into eachother’s minds using the Force. Thul dubbed Sre Mrak since Sre’vkk’lak didn’t roll off the tongue too well, and slowly taught Mrak both Basic and the way of the Force. Thul also began conditioning Mrak to become more human, showing him how colonists live. Slowly, Mrak became a human again, though his Tusken side is still present.

After five years of training, Thul finally explained to Mrak why he was doing all of this for a stranger, though the two came to be extremely close. Thul revealed that he had once been a member of an ancient peacekeeping guild known as the Jedi Order. Thul was banished from the Council after slaying a number of criminals suspected in the murder of his wife. This is not to say Thul leans towards the Dark Side, but he simply believes that villains should never be spared, and passed this belief to his apprentice. After leaving the Jedi Order, Thul returned to his homeworld Tatooine to actively keep the peace in the land, but always searching for someone to take his place. He was no longer a young man, and when he were to die, Thul feared for the fate of the crime-ridden planet. He found Mrak in the desert, and sensed the good in him, despite the harsh exterior, so the exiled Jedi took him in. After revealing this story to Mrak, Thul decided it was time for the Tusken to leave Tatooine to see the universe in its entirety to gain experience and wisdom. His training was temporarily put on hold for this journey, for Thul wanted to make sure if his apprentice were to turn to the Dark side, his powers would be limited. Still, Thul didn’t want Mrak to be as close-minded as the Jedi, and he saw this as the only way to expand his horizons. However, the aging Force user also sensed a disturbance in the Force, feeling a great battle would soon shatter the fragile peace. He knew it was Mrak’s time to take his place outside the desert world, hopefully for the good of it. Thul knew that, while the man may not change the fate of the galaxy, his presence would certainly make it sway. The Tusken left his homeworld, hoping there would be something in the stars for him.

Personality: Mrak is generally a very reserved man, saving his words for when he is spoken to. His grammar is fine, but the Tusken’s Basic vocabulary is somewhat lacking. This relative silence is typical of Sand People, a culture where words are generally reserved for important occasions, and body language is often substituted for real speech. Because of this, Mrak is very poor at concealing his emotions, for he never had a reason to mask his body language, and since his face was always covered by rags, facial expressions were never noticed. Mrak is generally very wary to strangers, another characteristic from living among Tusken Raiders. Much of his tribal side has been erased, however, through Thul’s guidance. Mrak always tries to do good, though sometimes he fails in this endeavor. He is quick to recognize mistakes, however, and does his best to learn from them. Mrak is fairly modest as well, never boasting of his accomplishments, and always willing to take advise. The Tusken strives to control his anger, for Thul always warned him that the Jedi were right about anger, but sometimes he simply can’t help but engulf himself in rage as he once did while on raiding parties. He never has qualms about ending a life, especially when they threaten him, loved ones, or the innocent. While he doesn’t show it, Mrak is deeply religious, following the gods and rituals all Tuskens do. The man believes that he was found by Thul after wandering the desert because his mate, Jrr, wanted him to live, and become a greater man.

Equipment: Mrak wears a combination of durasteel armor and his Tusken Raider attire. The metallic durasteel has been salvaged from various suits of armor, rarely matching, and is fastened to a black body glove. What the armor doesn’t conceal is wrapped in tan rags, and Mrak’s entire frame is usually obscured by a flowing earth-colored robe. The Tusken’s face is usually exposed, however, unless his hood shows his head in darkness.

Mrak reinforced his Gaderfii with a low-grade beskar alloy, allowing the deadly staff to withstand a vibroweapon equipped with a similar metal, though it would give way to the striking force of a lightsaber.

Small leather backpack containing:
Hydrospanner
F-187 fusioncutter
Macro welder
RW-80 welding goggles
Syntherope
Force bar
2x rations

Leather bandolier containing:
Dragon pearl
2x thermal detonators
5x ammo cartridges
Sharpening stone
Canteen

Skills and Abilities: Mrak’s midi-chlorian count is that of a lower-tier Jedi, enabling him to tune into the Force and react faster in situations where a non-Force user could not. He was taught to meditate on the Force as well, but this is where his training was ended. However, Mrak is a fierce melee combatant, his experience as both a Tusken Raider and partial training as a Force user giving him a competitive edge. Mrak favors a more aggressive style of fighting, despite the urging of Thul for a more neutral form, like Soresu, as opposed to Mrak’s favorite, Ataru. Mrak’s pain tolerance is certainly higher than most, evident from his numerous scars and burns, and he is more than willing to sustain injuries to defeat his foes. Despite his heavy-handed approach, Mrak is quite capable of moving in relative silence, a skill acquired from raiding colonists in the midst of night. Scavenging in the harsh desert forced Mrak to use every single resource available, so his repairing skills are not terrible, and he can jury-rig almost anything imaginable. Mrak speaks Tusken, Basic, and Huttese.

Weaknesses: Mrak’s right eye has been blinded, so his right side serves as a major weak spot in combat. He tries to make up for the lack of vision by probing his surroundings with the Force, but it is not as effective. Mrak’s aim is also quite poor, and he is generally restricted to close-range blaster fights where he would use his club anyway. His body, familiar only with the scorching Tatooine climate, is very susceptible to cold environments, and as a result his reaction time is much slower. Mrak is totally unable to swim, rarely having seen a pool of water deeper than that in his canteen. The Tusken’s skills as a pilot are also nonexistent, forcing him to hitch rides with other spacefarers.

Woo, it worked for the most part! I hesitantly included his weapon to be reinforced with a crappy beskar alloy, but if that isn't allowed, I'm more than willing to make changes. Heck, if you want me to change anything, just let me know. You are the master here.

A pack of death sticks (Rarely uses them, is somehow resistant to its addiction)
Lots of droids that he keeps at his secret warehouse on Arkania.
Droids that he takes with him (An old mouse droid, highly expensive after the old empire was defeated they became very rare. He also has a slightly newer probe droid he uses to scout places he doesn't want to be seen at.)

History: He was raised on Arkania. He had a hard young life. His family struggled to sell items to the small population of people of that icy planet. When his parents died he saved the money and slowly worked his way up enough to buying his ship. It was just a medium sized cargo ship, but it got him out of there. He made his money trading, buying, and selling droids. He has his warehouse full of them on Arkania in case anyone needs to buy them. Other then that he doesn't really consider it his home. When he left the planet he made decent money and is currently traveling to Coruscant to sell a rare protocol droid
