Little Feather
Little Feather smiled as Kathy coughed in an attempt to suppress her laughter, she listened to what Kathy said next realisation dawning on her face. “Ohhhh...that makes more sense huh?” She smiled bashfully. “Maybe...I’d hate to know what level those two creatures from last night would be on” Little Feather shivered at the idea. Lion looked up at the table, resting his massive head on the table looking up at Kathy and Little Feather his tail wagging behind him at Kathy’s first words. I like this human especially Lion purred, his eyes closing and sides of his mouth lifting as Kathy patted his head, his ears twitched up as she spoke to him he lifted his head and nodded it another purr rumbling through his chest. Little Feather’s smile had widened once Kathy had said Lion would fit in, she was glad to hear it. “I’m glad, our journey here was awful...apparently no-one wanted a Lion on the erm...big tall motor thing” Little Feather slapped a hand to her head in confusion as she tried to recall what the contraption was called. Bus? Lion grumbled, Little Feather clicked her fingers pointing at Lion before looking back at Kathy. “Yes, the bus! They kept screaming and running away...then came after him with boom sticks” Little Feather shrugged. Boom sticks are the worst... Lion grumbled.
Little Feather frowned a little at Kenshi, noting the staff he had strapped to his back. Lion had also noticed it and there was tenseness to him as Kenshi pulled a knife out of his person, he secured Kenshi firmly in his sights, his ears forward and eyes glued to him as he stood up tail waving slowly behind him. Little Feather didn’t feel the same alarm Lion did she stayed quite relaxed watching Kenshi curiously. “Greek mythology...oh that sounds...” Little Feather ran out of steam, she didn’t know what Greek mythology was, she had an inkling about the vampirie folklore...She wasn’t a 100% sure she understood what a welsh druid meant. She jumped as Kathy leapt at the boy, almost falling backwards of the table in her surprise she blinked at Kenshi and Kathy watching the two converse. Lion’s hackles had raised and a low clicking growl escaped his throat voicing his unease at the situation.
Little Feather flinched as Kenshi crouched suddenly reappearing with the knife and putting it onto the table next to a strange looking book. “...she was more concerned as to what you were doing to yourself I think” Little Feather cut in as Kenshi muttered something she couldn’t understand under his breath. She blinked as his hand became translucent and moved through Kathy’s as a ghosts would, before it became solid again. “Wow! How did you do that?” Little Feather asked, rushing forward and poking Kenshi’s hand with a finger curiously as if testing to see if it was real. Lion’s mane bristled but he relaxed his stance a smidgen. Attacks only if they annoy him? Little Feather please be careful... Lion grumbled low in his throat, he was aware how imposing Little Feather could be in her naivety.
