Rae was relieved when he said she could stay, but a bit scared that he seemed a little angry, she sat down on the side of the same rock Callum was sitting against, he had been quiet for awhile.

she pulled her knees up to her chest and lay her head down on them, looking across the empty field to the wavering black area that separated her from the place where she had awoken. she couldn't figure it all out in her head "maybe this is a dream" she muttered, not realizing she was talking out loud. it had been the academy, which didn't exsist, not in real life, so this must be a dream.

'or maybe', she thought, you really here and this is a real place.
the more logical part of her brain told that part to shut up.

she felt her eyes start to droop slowly as she stared across at the large sign proclaiming "The Academy".

Leon silently followed GM into the room, coming to a halt somewhere between him and the door they just came from. Although it wasn't all that bright in the room, the TV produced enough light to make at least one thing clear: both Rose and Euclid were wide awake, and just as shocked as he was a couple of minutes ago. Well, that complicated things. Apparently they hadn't noticed him just yet though. They must've been some very light sleepers to wake up that easily though; it wasn't like GM made THAT much noise.

"Well... Hi there," he broke the silence, raising his hand in a lackluster greeting. Then, turning to GM "Seems they woke up anyway... ."

GM blinked, looking down at Rose as she awoke. Impressively enough, she didn’t seem to fear him anymore. While it was a bit of a shame his power of intimidation might not’ve been quite as strong, he was at least glad these players showed they had a chance at survival; the experiment seemed to be going over well. “Good morning to you, too.” He snarked at Rose.

His attention then turned to Euclid as he made his presence known, cowering behind a pillow. With a wave of his hand and a roll of his eyes, the pillow vanished, allowing GM to better see Euclid’s face. “Ohhhh so that’s why that name sounded so familiar.” He cooed, remembering his last encounter with the boy. “Don’t worry though, I’m still supposed to keep you alive for now.” He told Euclid. “In which case, I suppose I should probably go back to my work – say! You two,” he turned towards Leon and Rose. “How exactly did you kill Rin?” he asked, wanting to make sure he covered her weaknesses when he re-designed her.

As Muse felt Nautilus draw in closer to them, he finally became aware of what had been going on around them that whole time. “Wait,” he spoke up, spinning around. He saw Nautilus and Ebil. And no one else. “Where did everyone go?” he asked, back arched and arms out as if he were preparing to attack something. “I mean, I know we lost track of Orber on our way in here, but there was also that quiet girl, Jacklyn – and one other kid, a boy, the one who made himself that dragon – god I can’t even remember his name…” he ran his fingers through his hair nervously. “How did they all vanish right out from under our noses?”

Ebil looked around. Muse was right, there was more people, but now there were only the three. Something was up.
"What do you think happened? Is he taking us out one by one?" asked Ebil in desperation. By he, Ebil meant the GM of course.
Then another thought struck him. Was the RP removing them because they didn't belong? Or maybe because the RP was dying, maybe other people were dying too!
"Do you think we should leave the RP before anything else happens?" he asked.

Books looked out from her hiding spot and spotted a group of three not to far from her and she almost shot up out of her hiding spot. She was scared and confused and couldn't hear what they were talking about from her spot. She quickly snuck out her spot and ran over to them. "H-hey! A-are you guys lost too?" She asked her blue eyes sparkling with hope now that she found people. Maybe they can help me find out what happened! She thought with quiet excitement.

Nautilus stopped, and counted the number of people in their party. To his horror, only three remained. "That is a possibility," Nautilus said, answering Ebil's first two questions, "But there are a few other possibilities we can't dismiss". He took two seconds of pause before resuming. "So busy looking around that they lost track of us, just like what you did, for instance, among others". Ebil then asked another question about leaving the RP, to which Nautilus replied, "While I think we shouldn't do that on the first try, it is wise to always have an escape route ready, just in case. Now if this path leads to a dead end then it means we'll lose the route if the big bad is already following us, so better hope it isn't. Well, you play this RP, so would you like to tell us whether this corridor does or does not lead to a dead end?" He had been thinking of looking back at the sign his head hit a few moments ago, but he was now too afraid of losing track of the other two people.

It was early morning. Bellua hadn't slept, having kept watch on the Academy above. Noticing the sunrise, he rose to his feet, the fire having already died through the night. He didn't need it, anyway. Turning to those who were sleeping, he spoke sharply. "Rise and move if you wish to come. My destination is a small walk from here, and I wish to close the distance efficiently."

Euclid remained still, more so overcome with the shock that his only method of protection seemed to simply vanish from his hold. He watched the room with hurried eyes, eyeing first Leon, then Rose, then GM, switching between the three as the conversation picked up. He could hear GM asking about something called 'Rin'. He wasn't sure what it was himself, but started to think about the huddled corpse of that animal in the cafeteria. Sickened, he closed his eyes and tried to think of something else.

Rae was startled awake by Bellua speaking.
"Rise and move if you wish to come. My destination is a small walk from here, and I wish to close the distance efficiently" he said.
she rubbed at her eyes and stumbled to her feet, walking towards him "i'm coming" she muttered.
the sun was just rising and she could see a floating school. "is that where we're going?" it was dark and imposing at this point and she was a little reluctant to follow him.

"Is that where we're going?" Rae asked. Bellua could tell she was reluctant to follow him, and he understood why. "Yes," he replied. "We are to venture there, for I am to pay a debt." Turning, he looked at Callum sleeping on the rock. Shaking his head, he proceeded to walk towards the Academy. "We're close. Not long now."

"Yes," Bellua replied. "We are to venture there, for I am to pay a debt."
"what kind of debt?" she asked, slowly walking towards him.
Rae took a deep breath and hurried after him, glancing back at Callum who hadn't awoken yet.
"are we just going to leave him here?" she slowed down as she got close to him, the school loomed ahead of them, she muttered a prayer to herself, then felt a pang of pain in her temple and muttered "of course i get a headache now" she looked around for a source of water.

The other boy's answers didn't exactly make Ebil feel any better, but he stayed quiet. Suddenly, a girl came out of nowhere with a look of hope on her face.
"H-hey! A-are you guys lost too?" she asked.
"Well, no. Yes? No. Maybe?" Ebil replied, confused. He knew exactly where he was, he just didn't know how to get back home.
"We know where we are, we just don't know how to get back." he said finally.

"I-I know the way out of this rp." Books said loosing her look of hope realizing they were equally lost as she was. Her blonde hair was almost brown from the dirt in her hair and her face was smuged with dirt. She was also very thin. She had been in this world for four weeks now and she was feeling the affect. Her blue eyes flickered between the three people in front of her when she realized they most likely wouldn't trust someone who's name they didn't know. "I'm booksmusicanime by the way but people call me Books." She said quickly, her nervousness kicking in.

"Those who stay behind are left behind," the demon spat, turning to watch Callum disappear, obscured by a hill down which they traveled. He drew in a long breath and let it go slowly, clenching his fists. "As for the debt, that's something to be settled between myself and the payment. No passersby need know the details."

Minutes passed and he found himself standing underneath where he assumed the Academy was now. Looking up, he saw various crags from underneath the island jutting out from the clouds. Grunting, he kneeled down and started drawing a sigil, one different from that which was used to spawn a flame.

Muse kept his eyes peeled as he scanned the immediate area, keeping a look out for any of the players, or anything that could’ve caused their disappearances… but his eyes shot wide open again when an unfamiliar girl appeared from out of the darkness, her body thin from uncounted days in the Guild. She claimed she knew the way out.

“We… weren’t lost…” Muse replied slowly, still stunned by her sudden presence. “But, now that you mention it, we probably should… leave… How long have you been here?” he asked, too distracted by her ragged shape to focus. “Are you ok?”

"I'm okay. I've been here for around four weeks now." Books said looking at the man who had just spoken. She studied him carefully but without him noticing. She was trying to deem whether the man was trustworthy or not. Her blue eyes were filled with thinking. Her mind was trying to sort through things and trying to figure out how many other people might be in here.

"I-I know the way out of this rp." said the girl.
We know how to get out of the rp, we just don't know how to get back to the real world... Ebil thought.
"I'm booksmusicanime by the way but people call me Books." Books introduced herself, but before Ebil could do likewise, Muse jumped in.
“We… weren’t lost… But, now that you mention it, we probably should… leave… How long have you been here? Are you ok?” Muse asked. Now that Muse mentioned it, Books did seem a bit ragged. How did she survive here? And while she was here, did she learn how to get around?
"I'm okay. I've been here for around four weeks now." Books replied. Ebil's mouth dropped.
"[i]Four weeks!?[i]" he asked. He had only been there maybe a day. Or was it a day? It was a Kalmasyia Academy day, but since Kalmasyia was dying, maybe it slowed down tremendously? For all Ebil knew, he might have been there a year.

Books nodded her hair falling over her shoulders a bit. "I counted the days by how many times I slept and that was how many times it was night also." She said looking at the brown haired boy with her bright blue eyes. Her hands had linked themselves together without her realizing, a nervous habit of hers. "Before this goes any farther may I know your names please?" She asked frowning a little bit.

Bellua's response chilled Rae a little but she didn't want to get left behind so she followed him up the hill.
she pulled her bag up to her chest and sifted through it, looking for her medication, muttering "come on, it has to be in here"
she nearly ran into Bellua when he stopped "what's going on? what are you doing?"
he started drawing in the ground and she finally pulled the pills out, she suddenly realized she talked to herself a lot as she muttered "i'm not supposed to take these dry but i don't have a lot of other options" she wasn't sure what Bellua was doing but she popped the pills in her mouth and swallowed, they had a horrible taste but a pang in her temple reminded her that the pills would take a little while to work. she threw the bottle back in her purse "is this to get us up there?" she motioned towards the floating academy.

Bellua grunted in acknowledgement of her question. "Each sigil drawn is of a different element, includes different symbols, requires different chants to activate and bring to unrest the element for which I beckon. This sigil in particular is that of the earth, and with enough of a meditation, I could move the world; bend it to my will. However, my power has waned almost completely during the time in which I was imprisoned. If I were at full strength, the sigils would not be needed."

As he explained this to Rae, he finished the drawing that now enclosed them in its radius. Kneeling at the center of the circle, he placed his palms flat against the earth and closed his eyes. "I suggest you lower your center of mass," he suggested. "This lift will not be comfortable otherwise." Following this, he began to whisper an incantation as the sigil began to glow. A rumbling of the earth cracked an imperfect circle around the sigil before they started ascending, bringing a tower of earth beneath them to rise toward the sky.

she was still a bit confused on what he meant but followed his orders and crouched beside him as he began to whisper.
the ground beneath them began to rumble and ascend, she nearly lost her balance and instinctively grabbed hold of Bellua, dropping to a knee.
she went red and pulled her hand off his arm "sorry"
the flying building steadily approached, it was kind of nauseating, so she dropped her head so she stared at the ground beneath, she unconsciously started memorizing the symbol, or 'sigil', Bellua had drawn, it wasn't extremely complicated.
the rumbling stopped and she finally lost her balance but caught herself last second "ugh, is it over?"
