Jason jolted up and looked around “that dream…” he said putting a hand to his head to feel something that felt like metal. He then pulled his hand away looking at it seeing some kind of gauntlet on it. He was now freaking out as he grabbed a pencil from his backpack and tried to pry it off. He held a scream as he started to cry from pain. Though soon his pencil broke making a loud snapping sound in the silence.

“Dang” he said as he sighed and got it out of his gauntlet and lied back down. “How am I going to hide this thing?” He asked himself as he just laid there thinking. He figured a long sleeve shirt and gloves would be the best but it is supposed to be hot tomorrow. He sighed as he fell asleep again.

When he woke up the next morning and was met with something strange outside. It was snowing outside even though it was supposed to be so hot. ‘“Well this works for me a lot better but why is it snowing?” He asked as he went to get ready for the day before him. He got on a black long sleeve zip up hoodie with a grey shirt under it. He put on a pair of blue jeans before heading getting on his shoes and finally the gloves. He then went to get breakfast to get a good start on his day.

As far as mornings go, they were never Nonna's favorite part of the day. This one in particular won the hate contest though. The whole night and in fact the day before. It started all wrong. She didn't want to go to any museum, but school apparently had different plans. Not paying attention, she lagged behind the group when a set of colorful gems somehow caught her eye and she got lost. One annoying scolding from a teacher later, she was sleeping and having the strangest of dreams. Nonna couldn't remember any of it, but knew it wasn't pleasant.

And right now, she was siting at the table, sipping a smoking tea - the only thing that could actually wake her up - holding it with a hand that had a strange gauntlet glued to it Nonna didn't remember putting there. The world was just strange today. As the hot drink flown down her throat, and Nonna's mind started working, she noticed what was off. Pointing a finger to the window with a quizzical face,s he stared at the calendar hanging on the wall. "Yes, dear, it is June and it is snowing." said an elderly voice behind her. By now, 'Grandpa' was well used to her silence, not that Nonna would talk much in the morning even if she was the most talkative person.

"You should hurry up, or you'll be late. And you know getting lost in the museum is enough trouble to cause for one week." he reminded her. Nonna blushed slightly. She intended not to tell Grandpa about her little faux pas, but one of the teachers was probably in the sharing mood yesterday and called. Grandpa's chuckle as he saw her cheeks redden assured her he didn't make much of it, putting her at ease. With a long swig she emptied her mug and went to her room to dig some warm clothes from the closet. As soon as she found her favorite jacket with fur lining and traded a skirt for pants, she grabbed her bag and left for school, running to make up for the lost time.
