I don't know if you're still accepting, but if you are, here's my character and his contractor being. I strongly reworked my first design.
Name: Wakahisa Kuro
Age: 16
Personality: Kuro is a reserved being. Soft spoken in demeanor, this boy gives off the impression of a quiet, if slightly indifferent person. This image however is not true. Beneath the first layer of politeness, the young boy has a sarcastic streak that accompanies his playfully mean spirited personality. A quick, sharp tongue will cut anyone not prepared for his wit. With an intellect that exceeds most expectations when laying eyes on his blank visage, Kuro is an ambitious person with clear goals and the will to achieve them. This does not mean he is a bad person; He simply knows what he wants and will do a lot to achieve it. On the outside a calm, if slightly cold boy, blank eyes will often stare indifferently at the world. Keeping his hands in his pocket most of the time, this boy has a certain légère kind of attitude that speaks of silent self confidence and being at peace with himself. Following his nature, Kuro is very self-reliant. He knows how to do things for himself, by himself. If it wasn't for his dream, this boy would probably be roaming the world, doing whatever he pleased. At any given time Kuro keeps an old fashioned watch close to him. Keeping it in his pockets most of the time, he will sometimes take it out, click it open and stare at it for a few moments before putting it away again.
For reasons he cannot quite discern himself, Kuro has taken a liking to cats. Obviously, he would never admit to this, and only in the most subtle of actions will his love for anything feline be visible to the knowing eye.
This boy has a dream. He has an aspiration that he wants to achieve no matter what, and he will do a lot to get there. However what that dream is remains a mystery to those around him. The only thing known is that he is here at covenant academy because he believes it will get him closer. Many assume it has something to do with the watch he always carries.
Despite his aloof attitude and his sometimes strange behaviour, Kuro is generally well liked by his peers. He seems polite enough when interacting with him, and since his playful mean nature only comes out from time to time, he gets along with most people he meets.
Contracts:- Kojoro
Contracted BeingsName: Kojoro
Type: Yokai
Personality:Kojoro is a Yokai, a spirit of Japanese folklore. Following her nature as a kitsune, she is a playful being that never shies away from pranking someone or making fun of them verbally. Gentle in nature, Kojoro is kind and compassionate when it matters, playful when the mood hits her and quickly angered when there is something that irks her. Her appearance being that of a young girl around the age of 14, Kojoro can easily fool people into believing she was harmless and helpless, only to play a prank on them and promptly sprouting kitsune ears and tail.
The girl has a bit of a mean streak from time to time, which is amplified when Kuro is being particularly friendly. She often verbally abuses her contractor or throws small fits when he does not behave the way she wants him to. Despiter her nature as a fox, Kuro refers to her as a cat, which infuriates the girl. Despite their subtle or less subtle squabbles, the two are very fond of each other and Kojoro is one of few people or beings in whose company Kuro truly relaxes and vice versa.
Powers: Feuer [German for “Fire”]
Kojoro is capable of summoning large quantities of blue flames that surround her, crackle dangerously and rage around violently. Seemingly devastating, the ominous blue hue gives the impression of potent heat and danger. However, befitting the prankish nature of the kitsune, the flames are merely trickster flames; They do not hold any danger whatsoever. Being merely for show and to intimidate those not familiar with Kojoro’s powers, the blue fire is harmless and won’t even serve to roast a chicken. Serving as a potent way to scare of minor foes, the Trickster Flames are Kojoro’s favorite power.
Phantome[German for “phantasms” or “phantoms”]
When using
Phantome, Kojoro summons eight illusions that look and act exactly like her, amounting to 9 Kojoros running around; However only she herself is corporal while the copies are merely mirages.
Phantome is a power exclusive to Kojoro.
Raum[German for “room”]
Kojoro’s most potent ability is undoubtedly
Raum. This ability lets her enclose herself and the people surrounding her within an imaginative sphere. While the sphere is not physically visible to the naked eye, contracted beings, as well as their contractors while in fusion are capable of perceiving it’s borders. While within
Raum, Kojoro can bend light to her will. At it’s simplest, she can let her enemy see whatever she wants them to see while inside the sphere. Her other abilities are still usuable while she’s using
Raum, however only
Trick actually makes sense. The diameter of
Raum varies each time, but there is a limit to it that doesn't exceed 100 meters.
There is a second, smaller version to
Raum Kojoro can use that results in an illusionist effect. If she only casts a small sphere that merely surrounds herself and not much more, she can make herself unseen for a limited time or let people perceive her however she wants them too. However, she is not able to move the sphere and is thus rooted in one place.
While this is a powerful illusionist ability, there are certain limitations to this power.
I) It is very energy draining. At maximum, Kojoro is capable of upholding Raum for 3 minutes
II) She herself is no stronger/faster than her corporal self.
III) Anyone can enter or leave Raum as they please. If one so chooses, they can flee batte with her just as easily, which is fine with the prankish kitsune.
Trick [German for... well "trick"^^ I was thinking of the german word, but since it’s pronunciation is virtually the same.. just think german^^]
Trick is a neat little ability that allows Kojoro to effectively switch places with her contractor. This happens physically and is not just an illusion. Essentially, Kojoro and Kuro swap places, which can be very useful depending on the situation. The limitation is the distance they have from each other. Much like Raum, the maximum range of this power is around 100m.
Kuro himself without Fusion can use
Feuer and
Raum to a certain extent. Since
Phantome is exclusive to Kojoro Kuro can't use it.
Trick can only be activated by Kojoro, which annoys the living daylights out of the boy. He can also use the weaker version of Raum that involves rendering himself invisible or letting someone see him however he wants them to, as long as he stays stationary within the sphere.
Fusion:Feuer and RaumWhen fused, Kuro and Kojoro take on the form of a half human/half kitsune. In this form, they can use
Feuer and
Raum, although to a lesser extent than Kojoro alone.
Phantome is exclusive to Kojoro and thus can't be used by their fused form.
Trick becomes obselete since they are now one person. However, they gain another ability.
Zorn des Fuchses[German for "wrath of (the) fox"]
Zorn des Fuchses is a power that changes their physiology and alters their fighting style from trickery to physical combat. If they activate the power, their speed is greatly enhanced, they gain stronger muscles and grow sharp claws and fangs. However, they lose all other illusionist abilities. This is their most combat oriented form in turn for sacrificing most of their illusionist powers. Once cast, they cannot undo Fuchs until they separate again, making it a risky power to use.
Fun Fact #1: Kojoro is actually the name of a minor kitsune in japanese folklore. It was depicted as a young girlf who lived in a temple and perfomerd temple duties. Eventually, she disappeared.
Fun Fact #2: The number 9 is considered bad luck in Japan.
