Pakuna nodded, and he began. He spoke of what had been happening, stating that it had been happening, not just here, but in other areas. Other packs were being target, and Elder Min had been murdered, opening up the elder position for which he had accepted. Not many of the pack knew this, so he had to wait for the cheers to die down, finally finishing with, "And it just isn't the wolves. Vampire Covens are being attacked as well, two of their elders have already been killed. We need to be on alert, for a few that something else has come into play here"

Zahara watched over the crowd, picking out her family and making sure there weren't any unfamiliar faces. "So who's behind all of this?" A wolf asked.

Pakuna sighed, looking over the crowd once more. "I would like to be able to tell you who" He said, his tone soft, "But I am unsure who is behind this, just that it is a very powerful organisation. And they have already attacked here"

Ally dipped her head when several wolves looked over at her and she hid more behind Donovan. "What can be done then?" Another wolf asked.

"We can start working with other packs in the area, and the vampires, to figure out what this is" Pakuna said, "We need to work together to be safe, and to fight what is coming"

"How do we know that the coven isn't behind this?" A wolf snapped. "Say that to my face you spineless pup," Victor growled, standing from his spot. He was still part of the pack despite being married to Melanie.

"The covens are not behind this, would they attack their own? No, anyone who thinks the covens are behind this, is calling me a lair, and dishonoring the treaty I made with Melaine, in which case you dishonor me" Pakuna said, his words steady, his voice echoing, "Care to say that again?"

The wolf flattened their ears and looked to the ground before Victor settled back into his spot, keeping a glare fixed on the other wolf. "But until whoever's doing this is caught, it's highly recommended that no wolf leaves on their own," Greyin said from his spot behind Pakuna.

"Thats rights right" pakunda agreed, "always with a partner. Preferably a group. We will figure this out, and we will stop it, but I will have no more deaths to any pack or coven member, we must work together with the coven s, and other packs in tne area, I think tnat is all, unless there is anymore questions?"

The wolves looked amongst each other and stayed quiet.

"then thats all, for now" Pakuna said, stepping back with relief

The wolves dispersed and Victor padded to the exit leaving so he could update Melanie. "Can we go home now? I don't like being a wolf while pregnant," Alyss said miserably, still hiding from the curious and pitiful looks the pack gave her.

Donovan nodded, gathering up the girls "We can go home" He said softly, wishing he could makke everything better for her

Alyss nodded and started for the exit, Cally and Chloe following right behind her while Kenna stayed closer to Donovan.

Zahara watched them go and sighed. "She feels uncomfortable around her own pack," She said softly.

Donovan followed along behind, glancing about when the left the underground.

"I know" Pakuna said, "I just don't know what to do" He said softly, almost a whisper so his voice wouldn't carry, "With anything anymore"

Zahara nuzzled Pakuna. "We'll be okay, I promise," She said, giving him an encouraging smile.

"We always are" Pakuna agreed, "But how can we fight what we know nothing about?" He said, trying to figure it all out

"We learn everything we can," Zahara said.

Alyss shifted once they got home and climbed into the hammock, staring at her belly when the baby kicked. She still wasn't sure how she felt.

Pakuna nodded, looking about as wolves left, or went about whatever they could.

Donovan looked over at Alyss, "Is everything okay?" He asked

"No. I still don't know how I feel about this... I mean, shouldn't I be all happy and giddy when the baby kicks? I just feel freaked out and confused," She said.
