"Alyss, its completely understandable. You were in a coma, and missed most of the fact of being pregnant. You'll get use to it" Donovan said softy, "its going to be okay. I'm just glad you came back to us. I didn't know what I was going to do...I could barely function, and the girls..."

"But that's just it! I'm not back, not the me you've known for the last five or six years," Alyss said.

Donovan shrugged, "It doesn't matter. To the girls, you still smell the same. And that comforts them. I don't think you've permanently lost your memories of the last six years. You couldn't have. They're right there, every time you look at our daughters. Somethings just take longer to heal, to come back. But it doesn't matter to me, because no matter what, I will always love you. This is just...a bump in the road"

Alyss buried her face in her hands and took a deep breath. "It's frustrating though. I want to remember, I really do and I want to say I love you too but my memory leaves off where you and I just begin..." She said, tears welling up.

Donovan gave her a smile, "Than I'll just have to make you fall in love with me all over again" He said

Alyss sniffled and looked up at him, giving him a tight hug. "It shouldn't be too hard if you've already done it once, right?" She asked.

Donovan wrapped his arms around her, "Aye, it won't be as hard, cause I know everything about you" He kissed her softly, "I'd do anything for you" he said softly

Aly kissed back and nodded, standing after a moment to go and lay down.

Donovan went to check on the girls, hearing some of the others arrive home. He made sure the door was unnlocked as he heard the kids running towards the house, their happy cries reaching him

Zahara looked around then herded the kids inside. "Alright, everyone get cleaned up for dinner," She called before going to the kitchen.

Pakuna looked around them, making sure everyone was inside before heading in himself, knowing some of the pack were patrolling the area.

Lily helped to usher the kids inside, and made sure they all washed up

"You go get cleaned up too my love," Zahara said, pecking Pakuna's cheek.

Pakuna nodded, "Alright" He said softly, starting to one of the bathrooms, cleaning up. He also changed his clothes, before heading out

Zahara started on the kid's dinner first since it was simple and easy before moving on to start on the adult's dinner. "Pakuna, can you throw the steaks on the barbecue?" She called.

"I can" Pakuna replied, heading outside, and cutting through the kitchen to grab the stakes. He began to cook them, keeping an eye on them even as he kept an eye on the grounds.

Zahara walked out once she was done in the kitchen and hugged Pakuna, kissing his cheek. "Talk to me, you're in guard wolf mode," She said.

Pakuna let out a soft sigh, "I just feel as is something is going to happen. I can't help it, its instinct to want to protect those you love"

"I know sweet heart, but I don't think there will be an attack right this second since everyone's home. It'd have been better to attack while it was just Ally, Donovan and the girls," Zahara said.

Pakuna nodded "I know, but I just can't seem to help it" he said "we've been attacked before, with most of us here" he said, taking theeat off the BBQ

"Well, they wouldn't dare try and attack right now, after all, too many mommy wolves are here."
