The housekeeper lead Julius up the stairs. As she walked she indicated which room belonged to which child. "Pick a room for yourself there are plenty. We are going to have a group activity in an hour. I must get back to the kitchen if you need anything seek me out."

Jason puts his hand to the side of her head. In an instant he becomes her. Then switches to her mother and back to himself.

The housekeeper sees Julius hestitation just as she turns to return to the kitchen. She smiles kindly. She remembers how overwhelming it felt to be fast with a choice for the first time."Julius it's ok. Things will be overwhelming here for awhile. I promise it will get easier. If you can not decide I would suggest the room at the end of the hall.

"So you can become anyone? That is not as dangerous as some gifts.seems like that would be benificial in helping protect those who matter." Liz smiles as she watched the boy change. " I can make plants grow, I can kill them, I can make harmless plants poisonous. And poisonous plants harmless.

"It's not that. It's when I change, part of my mind goes. And I can't stop it." he looks at the door. "Call me Copycat." Jason flicks his wrist and a vine comes from the ground. "I can copy powers too."

Liz held her hand out to the boy who called himself copycat. "With a smile she generously says "Then you must save the ability until you need it. I can heal most wounds. I have never tried to repair a mind, but if you like I could try."

He looked at her, his eyes red. "You can?"

Jason begins to put out his hand.

"Of course I could. I can't guarenty that I can restore all of your mind. But I should be able to heal some of it. If we do it alittle at a time." Liz offered. It felt good to have someone want her help. Her abilities always drew her to those that were injuried. But most of them had been terrified of her.

He takes her hand. "Will it hurt me?" he asked worriedly.

Julius, still the comprehending the idea of choice, assumed this was a order and so he went to the end room. The room was small, dark but had used but homely feel to it. Julius stepped in, placed his items on the floor in fear that it might collapse suddenly and inspected the room more closely. The bed was a single, soft and best of all had no lice and besides the bed and a window there was little more to inspect, this would be overly dull for most but to Julius who was used to squalor thought this was paradise.

"Of course not." Liz scaffed at the thought. "I don't hurt people. Even when they hurt me. You will feel some warmth. Nothing more."

"I will do my best." Liz took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She sent her engeries into the boy who called himself Copycat. He would feel warmth from head to toe. Liz took her time seeking injuries that might be hidden. She would not heal the old injuries now, but she needed to know each injury before healing them. Then Liz focused on the boy's mind. It was like shattered glass. There were big pieces and tiny pieces. It would take months to repair the whole thing. Liz began fitting the pieces together like they were puzzle pieces. After several minutes she pulled out. She leaned against the wall clearly exhausted and said "it's only the beginning, but that should help some."

He falls to the ground. He slowly gets up. "I can... I can rember. I can think. I can.." He looked over at the girl. He bent down near her. "Are you alright?"

Julius heard a dull thud and spun around wildly figuring what it was he eventually decided that it did not come from his room and so he decided to have a nap.

"Just tired. Healing isn't easy." I must rest before group, but I am not sure i can make it upstairs." Liz wasn't sure she could make it even a foot. The wall was the only thing holding her up.

Jason thought for a moment then, "Let me help you. In return for you helping me."

Liz hestitated. More often then not those who touched her did so to hurt her, not help her. Still Copycat was like her. She wanted to trust him. Her choices were to trust him or crash on the floor. "Thank I would like that."

He thinks for a moment, then as if all his strength came back, he got up and carried her in his armes like she was a feather. "Jason. My real name is Jason.". He walked to to the door.
