Highlights from what I/My-Family has found from our ancestral searches:

On my Dad's (Irish, English, a dash of French and German) Side:
- Two U.S. Presidents
- One U.S. Revolutionary

On my Mom's (Italian, Irish, English) Side:

- The British Royal Family (as things stand, my grandma is like.. 200 and something spots away from the Crown. So basically, she's ashooin' to get it)
- A leading member of the group that founded and colonized the Massachusetts Bay Colony
- A Privateer who worked for the British, generally being a minor hassle to Spanish colonies in the southeast continental U.S.

Your grandmother can do what the Russians were fond of doing, which was finding somebody from another country (like Poland or Sweden), having them say they're so and so, and raise up an army of foreigners to take the crown, which once accomplished, most Russians didn't care enough to question it, proving that not giving a shit is an ancient Russian tradition.

On my mother's side, I have a great-grandfather who was an SS Nazi assassin, reported in multiple places across Europe during WWII. His son helped the original founder of Hanjin Shipping start his business.

On my father's side we have Satyendra Nath Bose, whose name is the basis of boson particles, and worked directly with Einstein in forming multiple scientific theories.

Some girls from my mom’s side got kidnapped by Native Americans and were forced to assimilate into the tribe.

They got away, although one was impregnated, which would explain why my mom’s side has a bit of native American blood.

That's fascinating, imagine what a frightening experience that must have been and for her to keep the child with such a social stigma attached to women who were taken by Natives.
