[IC] Secret Mission (Magarafoxfire and Drakon)

Kylar put his gear next to his weapons, " in my clan some people can get the byakugan, but nobody has for several years till I did it while I was training with the mizukage. Most of my jutsus are water style jutsus." She was wanting to know more about him, " my parents were killed in action, the mizukage is the one that taught me everything I know of."

Megumi nodded, making mental notes. "Alright it makes sense..." She looked down at her gear, trying to decide if she should tell him about her powers. She looked towards the window and said "shall we go get some dinner?"

Kylar shrugged, "yah that would be good," he got up putting his hands in his pockets. His eyes looked around even though he couldn't see, he still moved his eyes it was an old habit no matter how hard he tried he couldn't break the habit. He still wore the hidden mist plate on his arm, he walked out of the room and took a seat at a table.

Megumi followed him, and once they got out of the inn they found a small café right next door. She ordered drinks then looked at Kylar. She said after a bit "Since we will be working together for a while...there is something you should know about me...." She stopped, trying to find the best way to put it into words. "We might run into a group or two who will be aiming to take me alive...and I just wanted to give you a heads up about that. They aren't anything to worry about, they are small fry." She took a drink from her cup

Kylar let out a breath, "don't mind that we can deal with them." Kylar took a drink, his arms folded on the table, he was thinking a bit he couldn't dwell on his past, he let the thoughts go by in his head. A group was watching them he knew that, it was like he could feel there states on his back.

Megumi saw him tense a little and then felt the stares too. She put her glass to her mouth again and said "Looks like the unwanted company is back...same guys as before?" She put her glass down and her hand under the table. She made a hand sign and a part of her shadow broke off and flew over to the guys watching them, hiding under the table

Kylar glanced behind him, and cursed "thought I lost these guys weeks ago," the leader was starting to approach "I think you have some thing I want kid so hand it over." Kylar laughed a little , then grabbed the man by the arm flipping him over his shoulder, he popped his neck "anyone else?" They hesitated, then ran out of the place.

Megumi smiled slightly, putting her blade back on her side. "Looks like I'm not the only one being chased" their food came and she took a bite then looked at him. "Do I want to know what they were after?"

Kylar sat back down, "an old scroll I took from them because the mizukage told me to." He took a bite of his food, started to relax a bit, "so why are they after you?" He had to admit he was curious about it.

Megumi sighed, knowing this was coming sooner or later. She reached up and pulled down the scarf she was wearing to show a seal mark on her collar bone. "I'm sure you have been hearing about the ninja with the fox spirits locked within them? Well, I kind of have the same thing...its a spirit called the Shadow Wolf. But mine wasn't a monster running around the country side. He made a packed with my clan that he would protect the village we serve and the clan if he could be hosted by a ninja. So his sealed within me. The group after me are called Hunters, low lives without mercy. They gather rare skills and anything of the sort. So naturally I'm top on their list" She pulled her scarf back up.

Kylar nodded he sat back in his chair, he wasn't scared like most people would be once they were told. He wasn't really scared he lost fear, the night his parents were killed in front of him. He really left that part out though, he didn't want to be asked questions on what happen, so he just told people his parents were killed in action. "I'm the last one of my clan that's why the mizukage is protective of me I'm the last one of the O'nera clan."

Megumi looked at him and said "Wow...that can't be easy. My clan is down to my father, brother and me. But your all alone?" She looked concerned, knowing sort of what it was like to be alone. But she had her father and brother. To be totally alone, to lose everyone...she couldn't think she could bare that.

Kylar nodded, "since I was a kid I've been alone the mizukage took me in, he raised me like a son, but other than him I'm alone." He wasn't really hungry anymore, he really didn't like talking about this, but sometimes it felt like he had to. He took a drink, he couldn't see and he was alone it was a hard life but he always managed.

Megumi sighed then reached over and rested her hand on top of his. "Well, your not alone now. You have me. We are partners for better or for worse. How does that sound?" She smiled, knowing he couldn't see it but she knew he could sense it.

Kylar nodded, he took a deep breath and let it out slowly. He cracked a small smile, "right" he felt her hand on top of his. He took a drink, and slowly relaxed.

Megumi smiled when he relaxed then stood up and said "I'll be right back. I want to go pick up some supplies while we have a moment. Meet back at the room?" She grabbed her bag and headed towards the market, happy with herself on how things were going. After a little bit she had almost everything she needed and she started to head back when she turned down a ally way, checking her bags and making sure she had everything. That's when a wave of uneasiness hit her and she suddenly ducked fast and kicked out, taking out a ninja nearby that was using a cloaking jitsu. She jumped up and landed on a fire escape, her bag across her shoulder. She pulled her dagger out, looking around. Then she felt a sharp pain in her neck and she reached up, feeling a dart in her neck. She was in trouble now. She let go of the railing and landed back on the ground, barely on her feet as she swayed and grabbed the wall. She blinked hard, her head swimming as she saw three men standing before. "Hey there, Wolf Spirit..." Megumi slid to the ground, doing a fast hand sign and sending a shadow to find Kylar.

Something didn't feel right to Kylar, when a whole bunch of ninja walked up to him. He ran outside, quickly blocking the exit he ran around town using his water clones to search the city for megumi, one had reported back. He quickly got to the location where she was. To find out she was out cold, he saw the three men "suirou no jutsu," water surrounded the men on all sides. He picked up megumi in his arms, and left the village before they caught up with them.

The ninja with her started to chase after him but suddenly the shadows around them attacked them, wrapping around them and holding them in mid air. Megumi was out cold, the drug in her system meant to take out ones hosting spirits.

Kylar shook his head, he took her to an old friends house. " my friend here has been drugged can you help?" His buddy nodded, Kylar set megumi on the couch and sat down after a few hours his friend stood up, "the drugs out but I'm tired." He walked off toward his room, Kylar stayed by megumi's side.

After a bit of time Megumi stirred, opening her eyes and tried to look around. "Where...where am.." Then. She shot up, reaching for her blAde. Thinking she was captured.
