Implying LoR is only good because its had time to ultra-refine this into a perfect gem!? *pouts*

Actually, if LoR2 is perfect... well, I'd die laughing, still rough around the edges in launch, will only get better, I'm sure.

Not really but it's still very, very handy. I'm sure with Brovo the first one was very well planned and executed.

...... Wait, are we talking the first LoR?.... Or the one just prior to this that actually got "completed"?

In either case... We did have to work through some issues, figure out some things that worked and didn't. The whole system started changing about half-way through to make things a bit easier in terms of keep track of things and more. *shrugs* Like, battles used to be insane clusterfucks, then we started a battle system that kept track of people's action attempts, enemies, success/failure, etc.

The thing is if we fail, Brovo won't flinch to kill us all. As characters pop up he probably incorporates them somehow into the end game. Because that's just how god damn detail oriented this guy is.

I meant all of them. The Brovo Renalta v1 would've been well planned and everything following has been a progressive elaboration; building lore and always teaking/changing the system to improve.

This is true. You have no idea how many ideas get tossed back and forth for different things : P What was it... Brent incorporated, his initial character event would be he would "have the chance to work with the gods, in exchange for the saving of his village" .... planned it all out, got him separated to talk to an angel... had him struggle through that. And even knew WHEN the turning point was going to be. And it was just biding our times while no one expected it *evil laugh* ... Less expected was his corpse getting dropped into a sea of blood because character rage was massive o.o I expected him to get roughed up, but damn! Dean is scary when he's -mad-.

ha. Haha. Yeah, well planned *stifles a laugh* We do not discuss LoR Original *hand wave* We used to have some very ah, terrifying character stuff. Hell, if you looked at the start of LoR:Reborn, it was really... well, longwinded and hard to follow, the characters were rougher. A lot of things planned were cut, a lot of things unplanned implemented, lots of changes as we went. Usually, all possibilities are sort of considered, but working with such a large group, you got to be able to come up with things on the fly just in case a player manages to do something truly surprising.... Or crap happens and shit gets real... *shrugs* It was a progressive project and we all just had to get better as we went. We went from being very descriptive to looking more for setting up for future events subtly, character development and just ultimately getting players to work better together... Should have seen it, started out no one really wanted to work together, then started getting collabs together and getting people to work out, then at the end, we had these 5+ people collabs where everyone would interject appropriately and more. XD Xixis, he made my favorite little comments out of nowhere in collabs. Of course, in the same instance, we realized that large scale collabs that span larger events, well... It did get messy and take a long time to get anywhere. And that was more recent in the story : P

From what I've seen quite common. Brovo is rather ruthless with stupid acts so gotta keep your wits about you.

Depends. If you're working together, using your heads and thinking outside the box? Probably just half the group ; P

However, when a goblin flips on the switches on a magic dampening/amplifying machine, sets it into overload to the point its about to blow... There is potential for total party wipeout.

Rocks fall. Everyone dies.
