Well, right now, NC is the national laughing stock on account of HB2. xD

I would wait to see if they repeal HB2 first because that might really screw North Carolina's economy since a lot of companies are threatening to leave, which doesn't surprise me.

That's a good point. I'm not in a rush to get back to Raleigh, but I do miss it now. Although, if it boomed after I left, it's probably even more expensive to live there then when I was there the first time >>. We'll have to see what happens lol.

Small little update for the group, my post will be up tomorrow, not tonight. We got a random hail storm going on over here and my power is in and out. My phone has ridiculous battery life so I can post in the OOC from there, but I'm gonna write my post in another application and just put it up tomorrow when I get the chance. What the actual, literal fuck?! Is Raleigh now New York!?? Bliss, keep your unlivable prices up in the north, damnit >>. I can't even believe that nonsense. My place was... 590 a month for a one bedroom? Granted, it wasn't downtown, but I was only ten minutes away from downtown. I cannot. That actually pisses me off lol. I don't think I'll ever be able to go back if it's like that. Now I feel like I'm missing out because it became worth something right after I left T__T.

To be fair, he has a nice, cushy job and it's like one of those really fancy apartment complexes xD
Other places aren't so bad, but I think the rent is closer to $700 on average.

Okay, that at least makes more sense lol. 700 average is about what I remember. I don't know if you know it, but I lived on Leesville Road which was near Creedmoor and Ray road. Ugh, the reminiscing is killing me now. Where I'm at in VA is so boring and quiet and country.

I live in Greensboro, so trust me I understand boring. xD It's a pretty crappy city to live in, but I'm only here for one more semester. The Triangle area is sooo much better.

I'm back with a new computer! It's so much nicer than my old one, it's a nice gaming laptop, runs faster and smoother, and I can actually play games on it without my computer making hissing noises at me for trying.

Ahhh, okay, okay, not bad Chic lol. I need to get a laptop with a true quad core as well, but I'm too damn cheap because whenever I see one and its price, I instantly think that I could just build myself a new PC with that haha.

Only issue with my new laptop is that my network adapter seems to be malfunctioning. Occasionally it will just drop off and I'll have no internet for a few seconds and then it will come back to normal. Or it will turn off and not and I have to reset the adapter. I'm going back to the store to see if they can fix it, since it's under warranty, so I may be without my computer for a bit longer, we'll see.

Thanks for letting me know. That seems to be able issue with most brands of new laptops these days. I was hesitant to buy one a few years ago because it seems like WiFi adapters are weak as hell purposely these days. I want a new laptop now and W10 and weak WiFi are my worries.

This isn't anything super important, but I just wanted to basically say how great you guys have been. The pace of the RP has been pretty pitch perfect thus far and your commitment has brought us near the end of Chapter One more quickly than I'd initially thought. Think of Chapter One as the setup for the real narrative to take hold, if you will. We're coming up on our first real battle scene here and, from there, I think things will become a bit more exciting (Not to say the current IC is boring or anything, I've enjoyed reading every post).

So yeah, just saying thanks pretty much lol.
