@Holy Soldier I don't think you'd have to rewrite the whole bio, he creates stuff with his mind so it's not beyond the realm of possibility to control it with his mind too. Letting a construct human get shot and then making a construct helicopter go down because of it doesn't make much sense either when he could literally just imagine another human construct in the other's place. There's also the option of creating a vehicle construct for somebody else to pilot/drive.
Creating objects is one thing, creating life... even as a construct, is a bit too God-like and it needs more limits somewhere. The Dog Tags being his only real weakness is also a problem and contradicts itself. When removed he is powered down to a normal human, but without them he'll fall victim to his own imagination? Which is it? He either has powers when they're on or off, but still... that being his only weakness is a problem. And HE created them? He was trained by the government but now he's a scientist/inventor as well?
Upon closer inspection those bits need more work, but still I like the general idea of this guy.
So I've been thinking on making a character be based off an existing character, however making it be more modernized and having a completely different story, not relating to said character. I'll be making him momentarily.
(Hint: It is based off a famous and popular Japanese series (Which isn't an Anime mind you))
But he can't imagine another pilot to take the dead pilot's place. Because that isn't even realistic and the things he imagines are realistic. So if the pilot dies, he dies, and the helicopter goes down.
He doesn't completely understand his powers. The STRIKE force just had him build on what he knows he can do and gave him a specific theme to stick with so he doesn't go crazy with his imagination creating things outside that theme because then that would make him dangerous.
The Dog Tags are a construct. It's like how the human mind will defensively repress a bad memory. He made those to keep himself in check. So when they are removed, he is depowered to an average human because that is just what happens. Because he accepts that is the result when they are removed. If he stops accepting it and goes against it, then he is basically telling himself, my imagination is without limit. It's no different when a superhuman with superstrength holds back. He still has ridiculous super strength but he holds back for whatever reason morals, religion, ethics, etc.
I didn't mention any other weaknesses because I thought it was self-explanatory. If I didn't say he was resistant to bullets, then he isn't (unless he's wearing kevlar or sitting in a tank). I only mentioned the things worth mentioning.
...A-ahem. But man, that just makes me want to do a Kamen Rider or magical girl ripoff even more. XD
@The Kid LanternIt saddens me that everyone watched Masked Rider and no-one watched the other, much better American Kamen Rider adaptation, Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. D:
@Rin I also figured you'd go for a magical girl lol. But your choice lol
Oh, what tipped you off? It couldn't be the big banner of Magic Kung Fu Lesbian Superman and her harem a bunch of Precures in my sig, could it? XD
Speaking of, if I do end up going down that route, probably going to be more Precure than Madoka, since magic kung fu lesbians are more fun to write. XD

Okay that makes a little more sense. If he's had the powers though from a young age and the government has been training him this long... he either has control, he's been brainwashed, or had his mind tampered with ala Jean Grey suppressing her full power to keep the Dark Phoenix in check.
I'll compromise though with the Extras power. If he's trained to ONLY make specific types of constructs for the government, perhaps his Extras could just look like agents of STRIKE? A limit to how many he can create would also be needed, like a max of two or three as I'd imagine it'd take more power/concentration to create something living as opposed to a weapon or vehicle. Also, would the Extras have their own voices, personalities, etc? Cause if they're anything other than a soulless operator it would still seem a little too God-like.
Under Dog Tags just note he also has 'Standard Human Weaknesses' when not wearing protective armor to counter specific weapons.

LOL XD absolutely not :P (Plus you tend to play them often so there's a point for me I guess)
@The Kid LanternYes, the extras are realistic because everything he imagines is realistic. But they are only there to perform that one action. I've only ever used them in other RPs for driving tanks, giving Joe an evac, and dropping him off somewhere. Because he's only ever needed them when he's going some place that he can't reach by foot (at least not in a timely manner).
So if Joe is standing in the middle of the Sahara and he removes a radio, he will talk to one of the extras and they will fly in and pick him up. And I'm fine with them looking like STRIKE force agents because then they could suspect that if the Extras ever looked like anything else that there might have been a breach in his conscience or he's going rogue. But you have to see them like the people in your dreams. Unlike the people in your dreams: 1) they make sense, and 2) they don't have random happenstance such as flying a helicopter wearing pink boxers with bunny slippers and a red afro. No random stuff. Just realistic lol. They're realistic because he only knows realistic. But that would separate him from a person who uses dream or nightmare powers, which would make for a good villain or rival.

@The Kid LanternIt saddens me that everyone watched Masked Rider and no-one watched the other, much better American Kamen Rider adaptation, Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. D:
I *think* I saw an episode or two of that show on the WB/CW network a loooong time ago... on a Saturday I think when Saturday morning kids shows were taking a dive. I remember the character looking like something from Power Rangers or Masked Rider, then when I saw the dragon thing show up I was somewhat sold. Back then I was watching less of that sort of thing and I did't have stable internet so I couldn't really research it so beyond the one or two episodes I managed to catch I was clueless.

If he creates them then for one specific purpose, would he really need to 'radio them in'? Actually talking to them like they're more than constructs and actually people with their own conscience etc. still seems as if he's creating life. Maybe the term Drones would be a better fit for them than Extras. They can't have personalities, probably shouldn't even talk. Having what appears to be a driver or pilot in a vehicle he blips into existence is fine, but it really couldn't be anything more than that.
Update: Changed him significantly. Name has been changed, with some power add-ons and adjustments. Bio has been changed completely.
Archetype: Advanced Techno
Name: Shinji Yazaki
Alias: "Sentinel"
Age: 20
Powers:
Sentinel Suit: Shinji's Sentinel suit allows him to increase his physical strength, as well as other superhuman feats. The armor is powered by Shinji himself so overuse will leave him tired even to the point of fainting as signified by his mechanical Color Timer. He can carry his suit on the go, for it can merge into a folded "box", allowing him to store it in his backpack, and is great for when he needs to save the day when he isn't at home.
Superhuman Strength: Shinji possess natural superhuman strength, in which he can lift objects twice his weight. He can also dent metal.
Durability: Shinji is quite durable, more so than a regular human, and can take multiple powerful hits and still be able to fight. He can also heal from more grievous wounds and be fully healed in as little as two days. This applies to both in and out of the suit.
Extraordinary Jumper: Shinji can leap great distances thanks to his muscle strength particularly in his legs when within the armor. He can also survive falls from heights that would kill a person.
Focus: While Shinji's strength is his own when he fights, the suit helps him to tap into his inner potential, allowing him to do incredible feats of strength and power. In the suit, he can lift objects four times his size and can punch right through metal.
Protection: The suit also provides Shinji with extra protection besides his own durability.
Energy Blades: On his arms Shinji's armor is armed with energy weapons, contained blades of highly-concentrated plasma energy that he can use in several ways. The Energy Blades, being made of electrical plasma energy, are powered by Shinji's own body, so overuse can tire him. They can be used as:
Blades: Like their name suggests, the Energy Blades are blades of energy plasma that can slice through many conventional matter. He can cut through a solid stone projectile several feet thick in one swing.
Defense: The Energy Blades can be used to block energy attacks.
Acceleration: Shinji can use the Energy Blades to propel himself at incredible speeds.
Thrusters: As well as propelling himself forward Shinji can use them to fly through the air.
Plasma Ray: Shinji can fire beams of plasma energy from the palms of his hands, allowing him to issue long-ranged attacks against his foes. If he combines his palms together while firing, he can fire an even large beam, with double the power.
Ultra-Punch: Shinji can power up a very strong punch, created by plasma energy, allowing him to punch through almost anything. This, however, takes up a lot of energy and requires intense focus on the opponent. If disturbed, the attack will fail.
Limiter: Shinji's suit is outfitted with a limiter holding back the amount of energy his suit can absorb from him, which is signified by the eyes in his helmet going red. Upon doing so Shinji receives a power boost, gaining greater strength, speed and endurance but has a limited amount of time before he is completely drained of energy.
Mimicry System: When forced into combat and in need to protect his identity, Shinji can use this device to appeared as his armored alter ego. However, this change is in appearance only and Shinji has no access to the devices on his suit.
Weaknesses: Despite these natural enhancements, Shinji is still a regular human. As a result, he can still be killed. If he wastes all of his energy in one battle, he can faint and pass out in mid-battle, possibly even dying depending on the circumstances.
Alignment: Hero
Personality: Shinji is what many people call an average teenage person. He works at an average job, stays at an average apartment, and still goes to college. He is, however, a genius when it comes to technical situations, enough that he can modify his own power suit for battle against crime. He is also highly courageous, even when he'll be fighting a much more dangerous opponent. He is also caring towards citizens, caring for their safety, but sometimes cocky when in battle.
Bio: Shinji Yazaki was born in New Athens on February 13th. His family was quite normal for the most part, only his father, Hatsu Yazaki, being the scientist at the tech lab. He had created a suit of armor that can be used to fight crime among the city and help citizens in need. However, being too old to use the suit, he passed it on to his son, who was 17 at the time, in which he took the responsibility as a superhero. He has fought approximately 38 foes within the last 3 years since he gained this responsibility. However, needing to also concentrate on normal matters in life, he only uses the suit when it is needed the most, while trying to keep his identity a secret.
Storylines:I'm not exactly sure what specific storylines Shinji can take, but I'm thinking on giving him a rival or arch-nemesis in which to fight against. Otherwise, Sentinel can go along with almost any story you can throw at him for he is very flexible.
Needs to be more original, don't call him Ultraman, etc. From what I know of that manga it's too much of the same thing with him inheriting his father's Ultra gene and everything. I can't accept it as is anymore than I could accept an alien called Superman who's a living solar battery with a dozen powers. Change some stuff up, I'd LOVE an Ultraman type of character, just not Ultraman.
@The Kid Lantern Craaaaap. I had that sneaking suspicion you wouldn't accept him as is. Leeeeeet me see what I can change. I'll keep the appearance and all, but not call him Ultraman, as well as delete the whole gene thing. Will that surfice?
(Powers will be slightly changed as well. Maybe bio?)
Update: Nvm above, I already changed him. Lists of changes made are in that post.
