Second character applications available.

You'd have to knock my fuzzy sucks off to get a villain approved. But it wouldn't be impossible. Probably wouldn't be impossible. >>

*was already considering going for Two-Face or Mr. Freeze* >> *why can't I hold all these villains?!*

Why did no one tell me how fantastically awful the Son of Batman film was before I started watching it?

Don't get my started, I will rant FOR DAYS about that film.
I started watching it, and after about 30 minutes had to just turn it off.
The dialogue had me cringing so damn much it made me want to punch a baby.

I know, I had a Bane sheet at 50% completion and the beginnings of Deathstroke one a few days ago but set them aside when I saw Ruby say 'no more villains'.

Obviously the villains should outnumber the Bat-family but not by too much, otherwise it's just unsporting. Especially with all these talons arriving. I'm tempted to make an OC street level, a cop or a PI or something.

I wonder if Deathstroke could be considered Neutral...

@Dblade26, judging by your one and only post, I think you're on the right track.

It was god awful from start to finish and I like watching terrible films. Shoddy writing, crappy voice acting, boring direction, complete misuse of every character featured (except Alfred), slipshod pacing and some of the worst understanding of how to tell a Batman story I've seen in some time.

I tried watching Batman vs Robin as well, had to shut it off for fear of punching my computer.

Ha...ha...ha
Let's talk about how stupidly inconsistent Talia's characterization was when you look at Son of Batman next to Bad Blood. I'm sure I'm crazy biased in this situation, but I feel like they completely warped the way she was written in Son of Batman and fucked it all just to make her a villain in Bad Blood >.<

Haven't seen Bad Blood yet, I imagine it's terrible, but she didn't really get any characterisation at all in Son of Batman aprt from "wants to sex Bruce" and "sort of cares for Damian". That's... literally it. Nothing about her commitment to the League's teachings, nothing about her resentment of her father, nothing about her wish to keep Damian with her. Given that she can be a very interesting character if used well, it's just another one of the movie's many sins.

I will rant so hard on Son of Batman if given half a chance... So I'll try not to. I don't like being angry.

LET THE HATE FLOW THROUGH YOU.

But I imagine some of your problem was with the misuse of Dick? Because that got my goat pretty badly. It was even worse in the sequel, Batman vs Robin, the out of character stuff on the part of Nightwing was what made me stop watching it. It was either that or punch the computer's screen. And my laptop has enough problems as it is.

I loved Thomas Wayne in Flashpoint Paradox, though they got details in the rest of the movie wrong it was still pretty enjoyable.

Villains are the main reason I'm even in this fandom. I tend to like the Batfamily best out of DC's heroes, but that's still with backseating them to all the bad guys. XD I, personally, find them a lot more interesting.

On Marvel's side, I better like more of the heroes (particularly X-Men, and especially Nightcrawler, omg. <3).

But that seems to more or less be the consensus for both companies anyway. DC makes great villains, and Marvel makes better heroes.

If secondary characters happen I could see working something up for 'the Jester' unless the GM's have already made plans with the character. Gangs are the main thing I'm having Avenger take on more directly and I love the inclusion of the Jokerz in this RP. I found a really creepy image to use for inspiration as well...

Eh, I can't say I agree. Green Goblin is a great villain, Superman is the hero. I always heard that the big difference between DC and Marvel was that Marvel heroes tend to be relatable people, everyday joes who've gotten powers in some way that reader can more easily feel empathy with, while DC heroes are larger than life, embodiments of ideals and legendary figures.

Obviously there are exceptions but it mostly works.

DC's messing their heroes up. Superman was the ultimate boyscout, a kind hearted, incorruptible alien who owes Earth nothing but decides to stick by it's side anyway. New 52 Superman is kind of a dick.

Let's not even talk about the Zack Snyder version. God, I hate that guy so much.

It's a shame about the cinematic Superman, because Henry Cavill is basically a perfect cast for Superman. I'm hoping that in the stand alone Superman movie (which might be directed by George "Happy Feet" Miller) he'll get the chance to play the character in a less monotone, emotionless way.
