Matt was exhausted. He had asked for Kat three times since he had gotten back and she never showed up. He figured Gracie was giving her a rough time today. Matt trudged up the stairs like a man sleepwalking. Once he got near Jon's room he could hear laughter and it made him smile. He opened the door to his room to find it empty. His brows creased and he walked over to a letter that she had left him.

Fear like nothing he had ever felt before infected his adrenaline system and he ran out of the room screaming for Kat. He got on the walkie and told everyone to search the inside of the school immediately. Matt was about to lose his mind when he heard. "Found Kat. She and baby are ok." Matt had gotten as far as out back of the school. He had started fighting walkers outside in hopes that she wasn't one of them. Matt got back inside and asked, "Where?" He was very angry. "We are in the north west hallway on the main floor." He heard George say.

When Matt got there George left and Matt looked at Kat. He didn't know what to do so he hugged her so tightly that Grace screamed. Matt looked at her eyes and saw fear and determination. "How...HOW could you? That letter nearly killed me. Don't you realize how safe it is compared to outside these walls? Kat, if something happened to you it would kill me. Don't you know that?" He pulled her back in for a kiss full of love. "Baby, you can't leave me. If you are that determined I'll take you out tomorrow in the truck and let you see how it is out there. Or better yet, talk to Jon's girlfriend Ingrid. She can tell you."

Erin looked at the finished sketch in front of her with hatred lying dormant inside her eye. Her drawing skills were beginning to look better compared to what they were when she first arrived at the school. Now the drawing resembled someone that everyone hated and couldn't wait to die, especially Jon and Kyle, now all the girl needed was to find Raven. With her dead the man would want to quickly gather the last McGarth so the family line wouldn't die out. That's when the young woman will be waiting far away from the place and somewhere rather...private. No one would know and no one would care if he was killed or even eaten at this point in time. After all killing was in their blood and it was about time the light half began using this to her advantage.

She taped the picture on the wall inside her room, mainly for target practice, in order to mentally prepare herself. The only problem was that Erin couldn't do this alone. Clara and her would have to start working together if they were to survive this act as well as protect those they both liked from harm’s way. This would have to wait. First thing first was to move into the school parking lot and then gather information to when the twins were. No matter the cost. The young woman looked at the bandages on her wrists and unwrapped them completely. The wounds were still red from being wrapped up all the time and the cuts hadn't even really started to actually heal. The girl knew she would have to hide her intentions from Alex as well as the wounds without actually keep bandages on all the time.

” I can feel your gaze on me Haru. What do you want?”he softly chuckled.” You disappeared after taking your pill. I was just worried that you were still unstable was all. Now I'm wondering what you are doing?”she didn't answering words but from her actions. The light half walked over and picked up the kitchen knife she had found on one of Clara’s trips outside a while ago and used full force as she punched the knife inside the picture and wall.” Makes sense on why you would want that. I'm sure you heard what happened to your niece or nephew.”her head turned.” It's unfortunate that Kyle let him live isn't it. On the other hand his main focus was Nikki so I'll have to correct this mistake as soon as possible and at any cost. Meaning if I lose my life no one will care so it's not a big deal.”the teenager seemed to frown.

” What about Alex? I mean it's not like he will let you go alone. Unless you don’t plan on telling him.”Erin stayed quiet for a second.” I don't plan on telling anyone Haru. Besides why should I let him know in the first place? Alex is more focused on his family that having time to deal with my forced feeling so it's stupid to expect that some sort of relationship will develop between us. I'm also tired of losing those who get close, so I stand of allowing anyone to become closer, I'm cutting all ties. It's for the best.”Haru shook his head before answering.” It still won't mean that you won't get hurt in the end Erin. Right now you have two choices. Stay here with your family and loved ones or go out and get revenge. Possibly losing everyone's trust and love. Then again I can only give you this advice. The choice is yours just don't forget to eat.”he stated as he walked out.

Erin stood there for a second before walking into the closet and gathering her clothes as well as a knife. She walked to the showers, avoiding people all together, and quickly showered. She wiped the mirror clear and look inside it. The young woman's hair was already passed shoulder length which was something she hated. She used the knife to cut it to the same hairstyle as when Clara and Nikki met. Once that was done she got dressed in her usual black look. This time however she was wearing a long sleeve shirt and gothic pants.” Hopefully Alex won't notice this. God I hate long sleeved shirts.”she mumbled to herself as she walked out into the hallway. About halfway down the hallway a guard grabbed her wrist tightly causing her to stop and nearly tear up from the pain.” Where do you think your going McGarth? I do hope that you didn't expect us to allow you to run around so freely did you? I mean not after what your brother has done. Now will you please come with me before I have to kill you. Not that I wasn't going to anyway.”he said.” Please don't let anyone see. Please don't let anyone come especially Alex.”

Camyllia had kept her head down while the whole thing happened. She held back the urge to wince when she was pulled into a hug. The teen backed off so Nikki could be carried off she kept her head down cast as she was before feeling a familiar rub on her leg. Camyllia reaches down and pets the dog before sighing taking her leave of the medical room.
She was halfway to the stairs when Blitz ears pricked stopping making Camyllia stop,"Wha' is it girl?"
Blitz looks at Camyllia before running towards the showers. Camyllia was tempted just to let her be but what if someone was in trouble.

"Damn it." She curses before running after her dog. She came to a very familiar hallway and rolled her eyes making her way closer when she hears.

"-didn't expect us to allow you to run around so freely did you? I mean not after what your brother has done.Now will you please come with me before I have to kill you. Not that I wasn't going to anyway." She hears a male voice say. Camyllia can't help but feel mensurable anger.

Then came Blitz coming next to her before the teen walked around the corner. She saw...Erin? Yeah Erin and Jake a guard that helped bury Oppal. He had a hand on her arm and she looked...angry.

"Jake back the hell off." Camyllia says walking over making sure to keep Blitz by her,"She ain't like her goddamn brother. If she was woul'n't she have done somethin' by now?" The man starred at her for a moment.

"So you tr-"
Camyllia became angry her accent came out a little stronger now," Do I need ta sock ya 'r are ya gonna let 'er go?" As she finished saying this she signaled her dog from behind her to start growling. Blitz bristles and began to stalk forward."Last warnin' asshole."

"Fine." The man says releasing Erin. He slowly walks away giving Blitz a look then looking at the teens."I'll be watching."

"Yeah, yeah now go polish your barbies or somethin'." Camyllia says waving her hand dismissively at him. She turns her attention to Erin."Are ya okay?"

The girl was startled as Camy’s voice sounded out. This was something she didn't want yet in a small way she was a bit relieved at the sudden save. The guy seemed to leave in a huff which caused a small frown to slowly creep on the girl’s face. Her wrist hurt more now but the young woman couldn't help but feel back for the trouble she had just caused the teenager.” Don’t get me wrong. I'm glad you came in the nick of time to save me but you shouldn't have done that Camy. At least not until he had locked me up like the criminal that I am.”she said shifting to one side in an uncomfortable nature.” I was thinking of living in the parking lot or at least nearby when the walkers are killed. That way no one will be tempted to cause trouble for Nikki or the others. Besides I don't belong here considering...my unique situation.”

Her eyes were lowered towards the ground as she tried to cover up the fact that she was checking her wrist. There would be bruising but nothing serious. The young woman felt what seemed like the girl’s intense stare at the limb so she decided to tell her what was wrong for some odd reason.” Jenna’s death took a toll on me. Not adding to the fact that it was my birthday and my parents death anniversary. I was already unstable that day but what James did just seemed to make me take that flying leap to suicide. Not one of my finer moments granted but...I guess that it was better if I wasn't alive anymore.”the lighter half explained. She shifted again before covering the wound up again. Her eyes shifted to the side as if wondering what else to say.” Can you keep a secret?”

When the teenager answered she looked back into Camy’s eyes with a cold stare.” I’m going to kill him. I'm going to kill them both. Since they decided to hurt my family and friends in the high school they deserve to die a slow and painful death. That way they can't ever do this again and this goes for anyone who tries to hurt this school again, but I'm going to need your help. I need you to make sure no one finds out. I know that you may not trust me but I really don't have anyone else to turn to. So what do you say? I won't do anything if you don't help me.”Erin said like it was an everyday thing.

As Alex and Alexis were walking towards the school the young man noticed a particular familiar face staring him down. The face belonged to Haru who had Erin clinging to him. Something big must've happened while they were gone. Once the two finally got close enough to the trucks blocking the Walkers from entering one of the guards hopped onto the truck and helped the two up and over.

Alex turned to Alexis and said, "Let's go drop this stuff off in the cafeteria." The two moved to the extremely empty cafeteria and piled all the baby stuff they had onto a table near the door. A good haul, but Alex couldn't think of a better place to leave it.

After they finished unloading Alex parted ways with Alexis mentioning that he needed to do something. Alex walked to where Erin's room was all while still covered in guts. It had just slipped his mind that he was covered in the nasty gunk. He pulled the small bear out of his backpack and knocked on the door. He waited for awhile before knocking again. Finally he said, "Pardon me." and opened the door poking his head inside. When he saw that no one was there he felt slightly stupid.

He remembered that she looked slightly out of it when he saw her so Alex walked to the nurses office to see if she was there. When he got to the room it was unnaturally empty. He stuffed the bear into his bag not realizing the head was still sticking out, and he went o search for answers. What had happened that he didn't know. He walked around looking for someone who might be able to answer his questions. He got many odd looks from people because of the guts, smell, and tiny bear head sticking out of his bag. It was all a really strange sight.

He finally found someone who should be able to answer some questions and the person was Haru. He walked up behind the kid who was usually with Erin and said, "Haru. What is going on here?" He was unintentionally colder towards Haru. He looked at the younger boy with his usually calm expressionless face.

Camyllia listen to her thoughts and nodded in acknowledgement listening to her talk about what she has planned. She thinks for a moment watching Erin intently thinking 'What would I do in her shoe's?'. Exactly what Erin wants to do;Finish the job.
The teen sighs rubbing the back of her neck leaning on her right foot and putting a hand on her hip coming to a conclusion."I wish I could say I won' help ya. But, I am not goin' ta say that." Camyllia looks down," Look Erin, ya better come back. I will keep my mouth shut but I will not lie if I am asked where ya are got it?" She says before saying," Good luck Erin."
With that the teen began to walk away before stopping."Oh an' Erin?" Camyllia turns and looks at Erin and gives her a smile," I know how ya feel an' I do trust ya an' if ya ever need somethin' le'me know alright?" She turns and walks away whistling for Blitz to follow.

” Well looks like the childhood friend just decided to show up.”he said in more than a angry voice. He turned around and noticed Alex was wearing something unusual and smelled like death itself. The young man was mad since the guy suddenly decided to show up and maybe play hero to Erin in order to play with her emotions, which the young woman didn't need at the moment, yet something inside his mind screamed to let Alex know what has happened recently.

[color=yellow]” Where do you want me to start? I'm assuming when you had suddenly decided to ignore Erin yes?”[\color]he took a breath to try and cool his temper before continuing.” James had came to get Erin. It just so happens that the guy had found Jenna...let’s just say that we no longer have a cook.”Haru said with a frown.” Erin saw her body and took it rather hard. I'm assuming you knew that it was her birthday and her parents death anniversary. Of course how could you not. Well she,”the guy struggled to continue only to slam his hand on the wall.

He glared at the older man before snapping.” She decided she didn't want to live anymore. The young man had slit her wrists and Nikki lost the baby. So where were you hero? Why were you ignoring her?”he said leaving out the fact that she was alive. Maybe this will make the guy think twice about leaving her side again.

When George found them Kat had been on her way towards the basement to check it out as a potential panic room. When he snagged her arm she nearly decked him out of instinct, and then she nearly decked him anyway. He started yelling about Matt looking for her.

"Matt is back?" she asked. "Where's Nikki? Did they find her?"
But George wouldn't answer her, he was too busy tattling to Matt about where she was. And from his response Matt was not happy. Apparently he had found her note. Great.

True to form Matt came tearing around the corner. Once he was done lecturing her she narrowed her eyes.
"First of all, you're my husband not my father so you don't get to talk to me like I'm a child. Second of all, as I've been trying to tell you, it's NOT safe here. James got in and killed Jenna and kidnap Nikki, Erin and Haru with no one seeing him. How is that safe? And now the gates are down and there are walkers all over the place outside. This place is not safe Matt."

Gracie was looking from one parent to another, knowing that both were upset. Her lower lip started to quiver as the water works geared up to flow. She reached for Daddy, her go-to person for reassurance, and buried her face into his neck.
"And you keep taking off and leaving us here to fend for ourselves," Kat continued. "I know you had to go after Nikki, I'm not angry or blaming you for that. It had to be done. But in the meantime I have a baby and another one on the way. I can't sit in the background and hope by some miracle that everything is going to be fine. I'm not that kind of a person Matt, you know that. I'm not a damsel in distress. I'm proactive. So yes I was going to search for a backup safe house. But no I am not stupid. Once I saw the area was crawling with walkers I didn't go anywhere."

She sighed and placed her forehead against his. "I don't mean to be a bitch here okay? I just want a backup plan. We're relying too much on this place. What if something happens and we can't stay here at all? We need a place to go just in case. Please tell me you can agree with that," she pulled back to look at him seriously. "Did you find Nikki? Is she okay?"

"Hunting things, saving people...the family buisness."

Kyle scoffed at his own words. After spending time with Nikki, Kyle decided he needed to washen up and get dressed in something other than the blood of his enemies. Kyle went and washed up, changing into a grey hoodie, black jeans, and boots with a knife hidden inside. Kyle kissed Nikki and walked out of their room. He let Nikki get some sleep as he walked around the school. Kyle decided to hell with it then walked out of school. Kyle found a large group of walkers, and Kyle felt something bubbling inside him. Kyle slowly took out his knife, and stepped in front of the lead walker. As the walker grabbed him Kyle stabbed it in the head. Then when the dead again walker fell, Kyle stabbed the next one in line. He did it again and again until another walked grabbed him from the side. Kyle pulled to his other side and yanked the walker off him, stabbing it in the head as it fell. Kyle started to stab and slash at the remaining walkers, until all were no longer.

Kyle stood there, no signs of fatigue or aches. Kyle examined himself and found his injuries no longer bothered him, and his battle readiness was coming back to him. He needed to do this more often. If he was going to lead then it would a leadership of structure and strength. He doubted Vincent would stay gone for longer. And who else would want to come and take away what they have.

Kyle began walking back to the school. As he approached one of the guards stopped him.

"Hey! Nikki said she doesnt want you heading out by yourself anymore. I am going to have to report you!"

Kyle grabbed the guard with two hands by the guards shirt and slammed him into the wall.

"Go ahead. She isnt in charge anymore. I am. Nikki has been through enough she doesnt need to be bothered with everyones problems anymore. So if you have an issue report it to me. So...whats the problem?"

Kyle let the guard go and let him brush himself off. When the guard pulled himself together he stood up straight but did not look Kyle in the eye.

"Nothing to report sir."

Kyle nodded and walked back inside. He walked over to the main office of the school and got on the intercom.

"Attention everyone. This is Kyle Hishamie. While Nikki Hishamie is currently out of commision, I will be taking over leadership position. I do not wish to alarm anyone, only to bring the news to everyones attention. Also I need to speak with Matt and Haru as soon as possible. Please meet me in the main office. That is all."

The young man, who usually showed no emotion, had a sudden tinge of a mixture of shock, confusion, and anger on his face. Is what Haru said true? Alex knew Jenna was dead. That's not what fazed him. It was that the murderer was James and Alex hadn't even realized that. This alone wouldn't have been enough to put something other than a blank stare on Alex's face.

The fact that James had taken Erin is was brought shock onto his bland expressionless face. What brought on the confusion was how Haru was acting. What did this kid know about Alex that he hadn't told him. Something must be different about him if Erin would open up to the boy.

Yet, the thing that brought in the anger was the fact that Erin attempted suicide. Whether she succeeded in her goal or not was left unknown to Alex. Alex had seen her walking into the school, but didn't know exactly when her attempt had occurred. This didn't actually bring the anger to show on his face. One rule Alex had was that you have to see the body for yourself before accepting it as fact. What made anger show was that Haru called him 'Hero'.

Alex started at this kid. He was angry. He wanted to figure out the full details, but letting his anger take control of him would be counter productive. For about half a minute Alex stood there staring down Haru trying to let his current anger subside before he spoke. Then finally, "What's it to you. Erin didn't want me around her. She made that clear the first day I showed up. Clara also told me to not interact with Erin. I was doing as she asked. I'm guessing she told you how I really feel about this school huh. Otherwise you wouldn't be acting all high and mighty."

The man had failed at holding back all of his anger. It's harder to control something you don't know the cause of. His words were practically oozing with venom. He was getting tired of pretending. Tired of acting like everyone's friend. Depending on what the full story was Alex wouldn't need to do that any longer. He already knew enough about these people to know what they might do in certain circumstances. It now made sense why Haru seemed peeved particularly at Alex. The man hadn't done anything, and that was why.

Alex looked to the boy in front of him and said, "Look, just tell me this. Why does-" but before he could finish the intercom went off. It was Kyle. Apparently, the reckless troublemaker was now their temp leader. Yet, something in his voice sounded different. Just what had happened these last few hours? Alex looked back at Haru and said, "Looks like you have a meeting to get to. I'll escort you since you probably can't handle walking there on your own. You need to be able to shadow someone. You can be my shadow for now. Also, once your done speaking with Trenchcoat Macguyver you're either A gonna tell me where Erin is or B show me where Erin is. I have something that she needs to see. Something even her shadow probably can't do."

Erin nodded as a response. She felt relieved that someone agreed with what she was going to do and now all she had to do was come back. Easier said than done on this type of world yet at least the lighter half had another person to come to when things became a bit extreme. She waited for the teenager and the dog to disappear before deciding on where to go next. In reality there was two people she was avoiding and for good reasons. First was Nikki. It was better if the young woman stayed away since she felt like one of the causes of the woman’s miscarriage. After all it was her brother’s man that had done something wrong. The second was Alex. It wasn't that he would stop her since his main focus was on Sadie and Micky but if she saw him now she would just… What would the girl do? Run into the man’s arms and hug him close? Kiss him?

She shook her head trying to clear it. None of these feelings were helping or even needed. He wasn't meant for her and she knew that yet for some reason the feelings seemed to always be lingering over her head like a dark cloud. Eventually Alex would find someone else. Someone better, which he deserved, and where would Erin be then? Nothing but a friend.” I'm so stupid. I should just go back to my room.”the girl mumbled to herself. The lighter half went to take a step before the intercom speaker squeaked to life and Kyle’s voice sounded out. It was understandable that he would want to take over though the fact he wanted to talk to Matt and Haru cause a little bit of discomfort, hopefully Haru would keep his mouth shut, then again Kyle had more pressing matters to deal with right now.

The girl walked to her room and layer across the bed. Her head was lying to the side where the door was so that way if anyone came in they would think she's been here the whole time. Hopefully no one was playing to visit.

Haru listened closely as the Alex’s words were released. At least the guy cared about Erin enough to show emotions though he couldn't help but feel the angry part was for him.” Oh well. At least I know he cares and that's all I wanted to know. Now all I have to do is-”Kyle’s voice sounded off which interpreted his thoughts. Talk about bad timing came to mind as the teenager listened. Once the announcement was over Alex began speaking again. He waited patiently before telling the whole story.

” I'm sorry if you think that way Alex. I just wanted to see if you were just using Erin or actually cared about her. She's not dead and is most likely either in the showers or in her room. Though I will warn you there's something different with the young woman since she's intending to kill both siblings. If you want more details then you're welcome to come but I wouldn't leave her alone for too long. Just in case the lighter half revisits the subject of not living.”he slightly bowed in a respecting manner before walking to the meeting place. Hopefully Alex would choose to see Erin and if not then the man was neglecting her.

The young man turned towards Alex, as if remembering something suddenly.” She was depressed that you didn't visit. Erin also stood by your bedroom door trying to decide if you wanted to see you or not. As for Clara well let's just say the darker half was tired of Erin not listening and forced pills into her body of her own free will. As for our relationship we’re just friends. Clara was the one who saved my life when this all began and I will stay loyal to both sides until I am either turned or killed.”he then completely walked away.

Haru noted that Kyle seemed to be in a sour mood. He walked up and nodded.” You wanted to see me?”

Matt looked at his very determined wife. "I know I'm not your father. I killed him for being a bastard to you. I would never put you in jeopardy nor our children. I know you are scared and your pregnancy hormones are making it worse. Tomorrow, we'll leave Gracie with Nikki and I'll take you out so you can see what it is really like out there. Maybe that is what you need, to see what you really have here. Kat, there is not a perfectly safe place anywhere. We are safe from walkers here. Safety from Humans is an entirely different problem and until the human race goes extinct there is ALWAYS going to be a threat from other people. The safest place in the country would still have that threat."

His exhaustion catching up to him he said "Nikki is back but she lost her baby. She is in her room resting. Kyle killed James and he crippled Vincent. Actually Kyle is as good a fighter as I am. He is more tactical minded than I am and in that way he might be more effective in some areas." The announcement from Kyle boomed overhead. Matt dropped his head at the last part..."son of b-..." he looked at Gracie who was chewing on her fingers and looking at him. "Baby girl, go see mommy. Daddy has one last meeting before he can come upstairs." He looked Kat in the eye. He put his hand behind her neck gently and kissed her with heartfelt emotion. "I love you and I'll be up as soon as I can ok?" Matt turned and took off to the front of the school. He passed George and stopped and asked him to keep an eye on Kat for him but not to look like he was.

Ingrid looked over at Jon and smiled softly. She splayed her hands across his chest feeling his soft chest hair in her fingers. She was beyond just happy, she felt almost like she hadn't spent the last two months living in a nightmare. She had not had any hope left that there were decent people in the world left. So many dying and murdering like it was as normal as eating dinner was. It had made her stay on top of her game but it had also made her leary of people. Walkers had been predictable at least. People had turned violent and deadly in the worst ways imaginable.

Ingrid took in Jon's scent and smiled to herself. They had exhausted each other and as his steady breaths sounded like music to her ears she whispered to him. "I love you Jon Snow for claiming me as your woman." In his sleep his arms pulled her deeper into his embrace and she fell asleep with a smile upon her lips.

Nikki heard the PA come on and she heard "Attention everyone. This is Kyle Hishamie. While Nikki Hishamie is currently out of commission, I will be taking over leadership position. I do not wish to alarm anyone, only to bring the news to everyone's attention. Also I need to speak with Matt and Haru as soon as possible. Please meet me in the main office. That is all."

She could hear murmurs and some talking in the halls but otherwise things were quiet all things considered. She still felt a little uneasy about letting Kyle take over for a while. While she was thrilled he wanted her to have time off to recover she was worried he would become this soldier that he hated so much. What if he did and he lost it on someone? "You are being silly Nikki." She told herself out loud. Her cramps were dulled tremendously but they were going to be there for a while. She was really wishing Kat would come down to her. She wanted to see Gracie too.

Kat shook her head. He just didn't understand. She knew it was bad out there. She wasn't saying it wasn't. She was saying that they needed a backup safe house. Why wouldn't he just listen?
She watched him leave and looked at Gracie. "Daddy has selective hearing," she said before kissing the baby's forehead and heading towards Nikki's room.

At the door she hesitated. This woman had just gone through Kat's worst nightmare, something she was terrified would happen to her. If she ever lost her baby... she didn't want to think about it.
What finally made her open the door was the fact that if she had been in Nikki's place she would want someone with her.

Gracie reacted how she normally did when she saw her favorite auntie. "Kikikikikikiki!" she exclaimed bouncing excitedly until mommy put her down next to her on the bed.
"Careful Gracie," Kat told her. "Gentle with Auntie Nikki."
Gracie hugged her auntie tightly while babbling in her little language. Kat sometimes wished she could understand what Gracie was saying, or at least what Gracie thought she was saying. It certainly sounded like she was telling Nikki something important.

"I'm not going to ask how you're feeling because that is a stupid question," Kat said, sitting next to Nikki and putting an arm around her. "So instead I'm going to ask what are you thinking right now?"

Nikki smiled when Gracie climbed up and started talking to her. She guided the baby into her arms away from her tender stomach. "Well, I'm crampy and it aches a lot. My hormones are still whacked out of course and mostly, I'm relieved that there is one good thing about losing it." It was at this point Nikki lost control of her hormones and the tears started falling like the white water rapids. "At least it means Vincent will leave me alone. He won't be lurking around trying to steal my baby." Gracie stood up and Nikki looked at her as the baby put her hands on her wet cheeks and looked at her little hands. "When did she start standing up?" Nikki cried some more and she let Kat take the baby back. "Can I tell you something? I really wanted my baby... and so did Kyle."

A little while later Nikki was getting sleepy again and she said, "Kat, you are so lucky. Both of your babies have a daddy who loves their mom so much that he would move mountains to keep you safe. I'll have babies that will have Kyle and they will be as lucky as you and yours are."

Nikki fell asleep.

Kat just held Nikki while she cried. "I know you did honey... I know..."
Gracie's eyes started to water as her auntie cried. When Nikki laid back, Kat smoothed her hair until she fell asleep. Gracie whimpered but Kat shushed her. "No Gracie, shhhh. Let auntie Nikki sleep. She'll play with you later," she said as she and the baby left the room.

She nearly ran into George in the hall and glared at him, shaking her head. He was not subtle.
Going up the stairs, she went to their room and unpacked the small bag she had packed when she'd been trying to leave. She was suddenly tired. Laying down, she sat Gracie beside her. Gracie pounded her little hands on Kat's chest and giggled. Kat smiled wearily and closed her eyes. Pregnancy and all of the fun that came with it. Nine months or so of fun to look forward to.
And for those who thought she was a bitch before, Heaven help them if they angered a pregnant woman.

As Haru walked past Alex it made Alex a little aggravated. He just went off on the boy for no reason. What was that? Either way it was good the younger male hadn't retaliated otherwise there might have been a fight.

Alex decided he didn't want to deal with Haru, Matt, or Kyle so he made the decision to just head to Erin's room to see if she was there. That's when he turned around to see someone having a gag reflex from the smell of guts on him. Alex smelled his shirt and winced from it. He headed to the shower and quickly cleaned up then left for Erin's room. Once he got there he lightly knocked on the door.

The lighter half looked upwards with a frown. She rubbed her eyes and yawned as she slowly opened the door a crack."Haru I'm not changing my mind. I'm going to-"she stopped her sentence as Alex came into view." Why are you here? I mean umm...h hi."the girl said making sure to keep her wrists hidden.

When she first mistook Alex for Haru Alex made a guess of what the rest of her sentence would be, but that wasn't why he was here. He reached to the back of his bag saying, "Hi, Erin. And for your birthday I found this." and he pulled out the stuffed bear and held it in his hands.

Erin looked at him for a second before reaching for the bear." Thanks." Before she could grab it though Alex lifted it away from her hands, "Let me see your wrists first."

" Why would I do that? Wait. That bastard! I'm going to kill Haru."she said through her gritted teeth. She lowered her arms and slowly lifted her sleeves, one cut had bruising on top of it in a hand shape, and the other didn't." They're deep enough to scar but not enough for a quick death. Now may I have my bear or are you going to kiss me?"she said in a 'I dare you' kinda way.

Alex gently grabbed one of Erin's wrist to look closely at the wound. He sighed and was about to hand over the bear before the girl in front of him asked a question. Alex was instantly frozen in shock. He had not expected her to say that one bit. Had this girl in front of him actually liked him at one point. He was just confused now and at a total loss for words.

She sighed." You really didn't know did you? I can't say that I'm surprised. To be honest I was hoping that you wouldn't find out about this Alex. Actually I was hoping to avoid you for a while until I handled Vincent and Raven by killing them but then again you don't feel the same way so I'm no longer worried that you will stop me." pushed said grabbing the bear out of his hands in a gently way. The girl walked over to her bed and placed it in the middle of her sleeping space." There. Now I have something to cuddle with at night."

She sighed before sitting down." How much longer will the parking lot is cleared? I would like to move out as soon as I can."

Alex slightly snapped out of his head in order to at least be able say something. "Erin, you may think you won't have to worry about me trying to stop you, but I am not going to just let you go. Going out alone isn't a good idea, and to just kill those two. Waste of time. Either way you're not going out there alone." He said this as he moved over to a chair in the room and sat down.

She raised an eyebrow." I'm just moving into the parking lot. Where did you get that from? I'm not suicidal Alex."the girl wished she could place her foot in her mouth now." Not anymore anyway."the young woman's legs curled underneath her as she stared at him. She did this for a minute before retrying to make her point." No one wants me around here right now. Not since I share his last name any way and I'm not changing it any time soon. If you're just here to check up on me about what's happened so far then rest assure I'm feeling just fine." she said in a shrug.

Now who of the people that actually matter said they didn't want you here. Look Nikki wants you here. Haru wants you here, Sadie and Micky want you here." He paused for a moment looked down then looked back up and said, "I want you here. Just because of some crappy family member doesn't mean you should leave anytime soon or ever. You said you were gonna kill them. I think that proves your not one of them."

The young woman gave a small smile at this. She was a little bit happy yet something in the back of her mind seemed to scream for her to walk away. To leave everything behind and never look back on this moment ever again, because the moment the young woman would agree would only bring pain to him.” I'm happy that you said that but-”Erin stopped to think of how to phrase this next part as gently as she could.

” We can't work out. There are just too many things that can go wrong Alex. You could get hurt by Vincent or even you could get bitten and I just. I just couldn't be able to handle that. Not to mention your brother and sister need you. Nikki probably wouldn't care if I left or not and Haru isn't my boyfriend so his thoughts don't matter.”her voice come out in a rush which made her head spin. She took a deep breath to let the words seep into the stubborn man’s skull.

Alex didn’t really understand why he was feeling this way. All he knew was that right now Erin was trying to find a way to leave this group. He couldn’t let that happen. ”Erin. If it wasn’t for you being here Sadie, Micky, and I would be long gone. Heading north for Alaska. At first we stayed cause I wanted to deal with those bandits before going. Once they were dealt with I could have left but I didn’t. That’s because you were here. I may be a good liar at times but that isn’t one of them.”

Alex stood up and pulled the chair closer to where Erin sat. ”I may be crap when it comes to emotions on how to notice them or show them, but I know this. I care about you Erin. Let Vincent come. Let Walkers come. I don’t care. If you try to leave I’m gonna follow. I never fulfilled my promise from way back when to always be there for you. Well, now I’m gonna keep that promise.”

Erin was shocked when Alex came closer and even more so when he said that he would follow her. She could imagine the darker half screaming him away or maybe saying something to the effect about being about time Alex said this. But she didn't care, not now since the young woman’s heart was beating hard against her chest, and a blush formed on the girl’s cheeks.

” Please don't joke like that Alex. I won't be able to handle it if you keep this up because I really do like you. I always have and I have a feeling that I always will. So please take your words back because if they are truly false and I start to believe them I'll be crushed.” she stated in a small shaky voice. This was what the young woman had dreamed of and yet here she sat doubting him.

She wanted the man to be hers and hers alone. Only sharing him with his siblings and no one else. So why was there doubt inside her mind? This was something Erin couldn't say for she had no form of an answer.” If what you say is true then there will be another problem in our way. Clara will most definitely not like this and we will have to go slow because I have never done this kind of thing before in my life. Do you still want to risk it?”

”Erin. I’m not joking. You know me well enough to know when I’m serious about something. I’ve never done this sort of thing either, and if Clara doesn’t agree then I know you can convince her. Everything Clara has done has been to protect you. I can assure you and Clara that I will stay by your side forever. Anyway every good thing has some risk involved.” He said while holding his hand out to her.

She nodded and gave a smile. There was something the light half had always wanted to do granted it was some small. She took Alex’s hand and kissed his cheek gently. The girl wasn't in a hurry to make things go fast between them and after all they had all the time in the world. No, not all the time in the world but the time that they had alive. All the young woman knew was that she was going to protect him and the others for as long as she could.” To be honest you can't promise that but I'll still take it Alex. I'll stay inside the school. I promise but I'm rather famished from my withdraw so if you don't mind accompanying to the cafeteria I would like to get something to get. If not I will understand.”

She got up and felt the blood rush to her head. The girl was dizzy but she was able to keep steady. Alex stood up with Erin. He hadn’t expected the kiss, but it was a welcome surprise. ”Erin, it’d be my pleasure to go with you to the cafeteria.” As he said this he laced his fingers together with hers so that they would be holding hands as they walked.

As both Matthew and Haru showed up in front of Kyle, he nodded at at both of them. Haru made a comment when showing up and Matt was as stoic as he ever was. Kyle walked over to them both and stood in front of them, arms crossed.

"Yea I wanted to speak to you both. Matt....Nikki told me that when it came to big decisions she consulted with you. She said she did not try to take on big actions alone. I would like to tell you that stops now. What I need you for, more thana dvice, is status updates. I want to know how everything is running, from the amount of supplies we have, to what the state of our fence is, to the current mood of our people. I you will be my eyes and ears Matt. I need you doing this because I trust you."

Kyle looked at Haru.

"Stranger I do not trust you. If I could have while still had been able to get to Nikki I would have killed you, killed your little friend back at the trailer park, and I would have killed Vincent. Seeing Nikki again...it reminded me that are real enemies are the walkers. Every time we kill a human Humanities defense is lowered. I invited you here because everyone deserves a home in this world. I told you your job already. It is watch Erin/Clara. I do not want her slipping away from the school, I do not want her killing anyone. I do not care how you do it just make sure she stays with us. The last time someone dissapeared from the school......I nearly lost my wife she miscarried my child."

Kyle put his hands both of their shoulders.

"Right now, I would say we are in a state of calm despite the most recent action we have seen. But in peace vigilance right? Ok if you guys have any questions or comments your free to say or ask them. Otherwise thats all."
