Typically I'd be all over this, but since we don't have anyone for you to collaborate with (at the moment) I'm willing to let this slide as long as something appears here before the game starts. Because Aspects can literally save your life mid campaign.\

Yeah i know, I'll wait for the others

<Snipped quote by Bourgeoisie>
I don't see the second half of the requirements for this one. In order to gain the +1 you have to do the following:
<Snipped quote by The Rule Book>

But i did, both claws and inhuman endurance apply only when I'm transformed, which is worth -3.

<Snipped quote by Bourgeoisie>
You've calculated wrong (Hooray for being the guinea pig). It never explicitly says so, but everyone gets a minimum of 2 in every category. (Don't ask why, it just how it works. And I don't know really. But just go with it) That means unless you put the skill at Good or Great or have other factors such as stunts or powers, nothing changes. Ergo your Stresses should look like this:
<Snipped quote by Bourgeoisie>

Alright. So. This is probably my error when building the sheets. It's not exactly clear what those numbers mean to most people. Having two sets is probably leaving them scratching their heads. And the GM too, probably. (Because I'm a mechanics master I only know right off hand because I've spent literal hours pouring over Dresden Files character sheets learning all this crap.)

I have good Conviction which gives me a mental stress box of 4 (p.125), fair endurance which gives three base (p.130), and average presence which gives three boxes as well.

In bear form I have great Endurance (base 4), good presence (4), and fair conviction (3).

How's that look?

Edited: Traded Thaumaturgy for Ritual, and selected tracking and locating spells as the focus.

@Blue Demon Edited, and I'll be attaching the spell casting sheet once I get the opportunity to set down and fill it out.

You're right. That section is good then.

There is nothing to see here. I did not forget anything. I'm perfect.

@MeiyukiGive me a few to look over it.

@MeiyukiJust a quick question. Are you still using the Sorcerer build or did you use the minor talent?

@Blue Demon I'm essentially using the Focused Practitioner, customizing it by pushing Channeling up to Evocation as the book suggests in advancement. Is that alright?

@MeiyukiJust needed to know what I was looking at. I have to go out for a few hours so you'll have to wait a little longer for feed back (including if what you did with evocation is acceptable. Though that might take a little longer because I'll have to run that by the GM. I can't make those sorts of calls).

Though I can say this: Change your template from Sorcerer to Focused Practitioner.

This is... a lot of prep work for a noob. I'm interested, but I am not sure how long before I will be ready to make a cs. Where are you having us roll dice?

Can I add a Mortal stunt?

Combat Medicine: Healing others during combat was Jin's job as a hospital corpsman, any increase to a Scholarship: Medical Attention due to a combat situation (i.e. splinting a broken limb during a firefight) is reduced by up to two.

@Wraithblade6

there's a dice simulator on the site.

This is indeed accurate. I'm not sure who is in charge of dice rolling (it might be me. If it is, I'll let you guys know how I want it done. But who knows.)

@BourgeoisieOnly if you have enough points. I believe you have one left. I'd really advise going to 0. Instead I'd swap out a power (such as Claws) and replace it with the Mortal Stunt.

@MeiyukiAfter reviewing your sheet I've come to a conclusion. If @shagranoz is fine with what you have, you can keep it. However if it was my game (which isn't so I can't make the call) I'd allow you to keep Evocation but not have Ritual. At all. I'd also bar you from having any other supernatural/spell powers and only allow you mortal stunts.

If you end up going my way your High Concept would no longer apply and your Must requires:
A focused practitioner must have a high concept that names or implies his spellcasting abilities and focus.
The Rule Book
So you'd have to rework that.

If the GM says you can leave it as is, you're all good on those points. Though either way I want more explanation of your powers with the Spell Casting addition.
Physical (Endurance): 3
Mental (Conviction): 4
Social (Presence): 4
Armour (Ect):

Just as a reminder you get an extra mild consequence (for free) on your Mental Stress if it comes to that.

So far you're doing great! I look forwards to seeing the rest.

Stunts and Powers
  • Human Form: You’re a shapeshifter, but when you haven’t shapeshifted, you’re just a normal person.
    Cost: +1
  • Beast Change: Jin's skills are reallocated upon transformation
    Cost: -1
  • Echoes of the Beast: Jin shares the senses of his bear form, greatly exceeding those of a humans. Hearing that exceeds human frequency ranges and twice as sensitive and an sense of smell significantly greater than those of humans.
    Cost: -1
  • Inhuman Toughness: When Transformed, Jin can take more punishment than he can normally.
    Cost: -2

    • Hard to Hurt. You naturally have Armor:1 against all physical stress.
    • Hard to Kill. You have two additional boxes of physical stress capacity (page 201).
  • Claws: When Transformed, Jin's bear hands deal more bare handed damage due ot his claws.
    Cost: -2

    • Natural Weapons. You have claws (or something
      similar) which act as Weapon:2 for your
      Fists attacks. This bonus stacks with stress
      increases due to Strength abilities (page 183),
      but  won’t stack with other Weapon:[X]
      effects per the usual weapon stacking guidelines

I'm just going off your character sheet. Which is -5

A brief rundown of the various important people and places of Philly. For those of you who are reading the book, we're largely going "Vancouver method" for city building. Any ideas anyone else has are greatly appreciated.

Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, etc.- Philadelphia was the Colonial capital during the revolution. The British managed to take it, but that was not enough to break Washington’s army. The Declaration of Independence was signed here, as was the Constitution. Needless to say, the city’s nickname as “The Cradle of Liberty” is well-earned.

Valley Forge- Washington’s winter camp in 1777-1778, about 20 miles northwest of the city. Synonymous with suffering Continental soldiers, though truth be told, they’d endure an even worse winter the next year at Morristown, New Jersey.

The Big Five universities- Temple, St. Joseph’s, Villanova, Drexel, Penn. All quality institutions, but the economics and locales vary widely, from Temple’s oasis in the middle of urban blight, to the Ivy League towers of Penn.

Veteran’s Stadium- An old, dilapidated place that’s home to the Phillies and Eagles, scheduled for demolition in a couple of years. Notable for a Nevernever crossing that leads into an ogre camp… though the ogres might well be more civilized than the mortals on the other side!

The Mutter Museum- A small collection of medical oddities that is widely regarded as the freakiest place in the city. Who knows what could be found in the back rooms?

The Camden Aquarium- Not actually in Philly, but across the Delaware River in Camden, New Jersey. A noted tourist spot, often commented on as one the two reasons a person has to go to Camden.

The U.S.S. New Jersey- The other reason to go to Camden, the “Big J” is an Iowa-class battleship that saw active service off and on from WWII up through the 1980s. Amazingly, in reality she managed to go through almost the entirety of WWII without a single combat fatality, but in this universe, she was badly battered at the Battle of the Philippine Sea in 1943. Among the supernatural community, there are persistent rumors of ghosts haunting the ship, protected from the sun and sea by multiple layers of steel…

William Penn- Founder of Philadelphia and Pennsylvania. Noted for his relatively honest dealings with the local Delaware Indians, and may well have run across some native spooks in his time with them.

Benjamin Franklin- Inventor, scientist, statesman, writer, and probably the greatest mind America has ever produced. No way he wasn’t clued-in.

George Meade and Winfield Scott Hancock- Civil War generals most famous for stopping Lee at Gettysburg, both were Philly born and lived there after the war. Perhaps they ran across something odd in their service.

Modern Players
Mayor Juan Martinez- Philly’s first Hispanic Mayor, widely celebrated for his ability to turn around a poor school system. However, the money to do this had to come from somewhere, and the police department suffered some cuts, the effects of which are beginning to show.

Antonio “Tiny Tony” Petrucci- In reality, the Mob was basically thrown out of town in the eighties, and barely a peep has been heard from them since. In this universe, federal focus on targets in New York, Chicago, and Vegas allowed them to survive largely unscathed. Antonio is the new boss on the block, having taken over when his father suffered a heart attack. (And it was indeed a heart attack, none of the other mobsters had anything to do with it.) The new boss is rather flashy, and as lethal as any other gangster. Rumors place him as anything from a complete straight to having a little kinetomancy himself, but nobody’s sure. What is for certain is that there are some jackals looking hungrily at the new lion’s turf.

Wilhelm Schmidt- The Red Court’s top man in town. Earned some respect for being a little more civil than most, but he’ll still tear into your throat; he’ll just apologize while he does it.

Michael Skavis- Wilhelm’s White Court counterpart. Runs the slums with an iron fist. Has taken the traditional Skavis “urban blight=poverty=despair=free lunch” tactic to heart.

Lord Ionos- One of the High Winter Fae, Ionos is Mab’s mouthpiece in Philly. He prefers not to get involved in mortal affairs, but the Black Jenny situation has piqued his interest. A valuable ally… and a deadly enemy.

Black Jenny- The most mysterious power player in the city, she appeared out of nowhere a couple of years ago as the go-to girl for nasty artifacts and ritual implements, with a bunch of thugs to match. The Wardens would love to nail her ass to the wall, but they’ve got as much clue to her identity as anyone else, i.e. zilch. But whether she’s Black Court, a power-hungry sorceress, or something that’s slipped over from the Nevernever, one thing everyone can agree on is that people who cross her are seldom heard from again.
